CDW and ELEAGUE, a premium esports content and live tournament brand, announced an integrated partnership that will create enhanced fan experiences across ELEAGUE’s properties on television, digital, social and in-arena.

CDW will serve as the Official Arena Partner of ELEAGUE and the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), an esports competition in which the best teams from Europe, North America, Oceania and South America compete for more than $1 million in prizes. In this role, CDW will leverage Lenovo technology to implement the latest gaming PCs and accessories, perform network capacity and speed assessments and design rooms and spaces for the optimum player and spectator experience.

CDW and Lenovo bring years of experience in orchestrating the ultimate esports arenas for schools and other customers. The partnership with ELEAGUE enables CDW to maintain a prominent role in the esports community.

“The world of esports is rapidly growing, and we are excited to formalize our partnership with ELEAGUE. Whether it’s a facility with five seats or 150 seats, CDW’s esports experts are passionate about designing, implementing and managing world-class arenas for our customers,” said Mark Chong, senior vice president, strategy and marketing, CDW. “We look forward to this year’s competition and are excited to collaborate with Lenovo and build the ultimate fan experience for ELEAGUE enthusiasts.”

The partnership, which was announced in time for Season 8 of the RLCS, will continue throughout the RLCS competitive calendar and ELEAGUE programming schedule in 2019 and 2020. CDW will be integrated across ELEAGUE’s platforms throughout the partnership, including its TBS broadcasts, on Twitch and ELEAGUE.com, and its social media. In addition, CDW will also be the presenting sponsor of ELEAGUE’s “Get IT Moment,” where a highlight of each telecast will be displayed on a Lenovo tablet and analyzed by ELEAGUE’s hosts.

“The popularity of esports continues to grow exponentially. For these competitors and their growing fanbase, we’ve developed world-class gaming solutions and are thrilled to formally partner with one of the most recognizable brands in the esports world,” said Rob Cato, vice president and North America channel chief, Lenovo.  “We’re excited to work with our trusted partner CDW to equip ELEAGUE with our latest Legion products to enhance their live tournaments and originally produced programming.”
