Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT Memory - Sped Up My Mac Great memory. Really made a difference in how my Mac behaves. No more crunching between applications. Apple has 8GB as max memory but I knew it could take more so I ordered the 16TB. Big change in how it behaves now. Definitely worth buying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Chip The RAM module worked fine. However, I own a HP Pavilion 550-110 and it says it upgradeable to 16gb of ram. IT IS NOT. I first bought just one of these Crucial chips and it was compatible with the RAM chip included with the machine,(Samsung)so I ordered another Crucial RAM chip and though well if it wasn't compatible with the Samsung chip than two crucial chips should work. Wrong the motherboard didn't except them both together. I guess I bought a dud of the computer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Micron's famous reliability and compatibility In this modules Micron/Crucial demonstrates its impenetrable reputation of highest quality components. Comparing with many other brands, these modules offer widest tolerances, and honestly tuned SPD profile. In other words, you can put them into the most picky hardware and just let it go. No tweaking, interchanging, or load-testing needed. They just work out of the box anywhere. These are low voltage modules suitable for low power low-heat applications, which also extends module's life. On top of that you receive life-time warranty. Only two complaints can be addressed to marketing division: Low-voltage feature should be written in BIG letters for users to see the difference, and better describes in whitepaper. Memory geometry given on the website seems incorrect. These are 16-chip 8Gb modules, which can not be 1024Mib x 64 (suitable for 8-chip modules).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I dropped this Ram into my home computer that had three sticks of 4gb ram making a total of 12gbs in an HP computer running Windows 7 Pro still. The computer started suffering BOD's and I new I needed to replace the old sticks and get my computer back to normal. After getting the memory from Crucial and getting it back into the machine. I haven't had any issues of BODs anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact replacement for Dell memory in XPS 870 I installed two of these in a Dell XPS 8700 desktop, replacing original 2GB DIMMs and moving two 4GB DIMMs to different slots, taking the total memory capacity to 24GB. The memory passed Dell SupportAssist diagnostics. It was all done in one step, unlike the experience of some online posters using different memory brands who reported having to install one DIMM at a time, with a power-up boot required after each.

I thought, increasing memory would help, in many areas. Going from 8GB to 32GB, I assumed I would see some performance increase, but I did not. Don't know what to say. In the past, every computer I have upgraded, I did notice a change, especially when taking a big jump.
