With 6 outlets and 1 switched outlet group, this server and network UPS provides uninterrupted battery power to connected electronics. With sine wave output when on battery, this tower UPS offers the highest degree of compatibility with PFC servers and sensitive electronics.




Monitoring Flexibility; EcoStruxureTM Ready


Monitor your Smart-UPS from anywhere at any time via two options; cloud-based secure web portal with automated, customizable alerts regarding the health of your UPS or EcoStruxure IT software and services for larger scale or highly distributed IT infrastructures. Connect to either monitoring software using the Port on the back of the device.




Alternate Monitoring and Management Options


Use the intuitive LCD interface and PowerChute software to configure settings and monitor usage. A SmartSlot in the back of the UPS offers the option to add a Network Management Card (NMC) to remotely manage the UPS over the network (NMC sold separately). Audible alarms also provide notification of changing utility power and UPS conditions.




High Efficiency


This 500 watt UPS offers a green mode to ensure you are operating at the highest level of efficiency while it’s smart battery management maximizes performance. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) adjusts voltages ensuring reliable power while preserving battery life.




Additional Specifications


One switchable outlet group is included for individual load management. Predictive battery management provides an estimated date of when battery replacement is recommended.

Good point on these should make them easy to sell. LCD is nicer than previous models. Management console needs some improvement. I should be able to add other admin/technicians to a manage these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UPS works fine.Connect battery, plug it in, it works. Nothing special about it. There may be a boat-load of network features in it but I don't use this in any other way than just a stand alone, unconnected UPS protecting some electronics.

I'll cover the ones it seemed were mentioned the most. First: odor. When I first plugged mine in it had a VERY SLIGHT odor for the first couple weeks. I would pretty much have to be sitting right next to it to notice. Second: noise. The fan can hardly be heard when it's running and the unit is virtually silent all other times. Third: Heat. Mine has never been more than barely warm to the touch. Fourth: brightness. The display is what I would describe as a cool blue in color. It doesn't shine light in and of itself so it doesn't light up the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is GreatI love the web connect monitoring and the multi device connected monitoring with the Power Chute Professional software. I can login to the web portal for smart connect and see all relevant information about the UPS. I can also setup to be emailed when the power goes out so I can know when the UPS has been needed.
