Rated 5 out of 5 byFranco from Cables met needs perfectlyLap top had HDMI Output port. Projector had only VGA and Component (RCA type) only. I ordered the HDMI to VGA Dongle and it worked perfectly. The short cable of the dongle guards against damaging the HDMI output port on the PC and the screws on the VGA end of the dongle assured a secure connection to the projector.

I would have given 5 stars, but this is actually our second one of these because the first one failed after over 2yrs of use. Not sure what happened but finally tracked the connection issue back to this adapter. New adapter works great!
