Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home printer for the price.I have had many, many printers over the years and was surprised by how easy set-up was for this machine. 5 minutes and I was set! Pros: * The printing is very crisp. No smears. * Hello wireless! I love that I can be on my phone in the kitchen and can easily print a recipe from my phone.* the Canon website is also extremely user friendly with good tech support Cons: * It`s loud. Not shake the house loud, but it`s noticeable. * It uses a lot of ink. Great for a casual printer like me-- not ideal if you plan on running a print shop out of your house. Bottomline: Good printer for on the cheap. Great for students or families.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so goodI received this printer for free after agreeing to provide an open and honest review of the product.Assembly & setup takes some time but following the directions is easy. I’m glad it’s a 1 time setup.The printer itself is compact and easy to use. Quiet operation. Print speed is about what I expected.Having wifi is convenient & lets me print from my laptop or desktop easily.I’m pleased with the print quality on my documents & color graphics. I haven’t tried doing photo printing yet but that will be a good test. My primary use is document printing so that has done the job.I like the touchscreen panel if I want to copy something without using the computer to do it.My concern is ink cost with it having 6 cartridges. Having the choice to buy XL or XXL cartridges might give me more time between changing them.I would say this is a good printer for someone who wants to use for college or other school papers. It can also be a good choice for a home printer. I haven`t had it long enough to really give it a massive printing challenge but photos will be my next test for it.

Canon is a well Known brand, this all in one wireless,print,copy and scan printer lives up to the Canon name.With its wireless connection,you can easily print from your PC, Lab Top or Smart Phone. Fast and simple set up even for those who are not tech savvy. Comes with inkjet system of 6-colors with a photo blue to reduce graininess, seeing the beautiful pictures that I had printed was amazing and professional looking. The printer itself is compact, has decent 5.0 LCD touch screen display, a memory card, CD/BD printing capabilities as well as Front/rear paper feeds. Pros: set up is very easy and gives you options to utilize connection capabilities. coping and printing from Android,memory card, No smears, beautiful colored prints. making pictures is the best,fun and high quality.Scanning is an amazing feature, I was able to scan documents fast and discard a lot of paper files. Those who are crafty will love this feature, I was able to take stock card paper and simply scan a birthday card to put the original in a frame and make several new cards with excellent color each time.Overall an excellent home/office all in one that does more than most with superior quality. Cons: at this time, I have had the printer for ten days now with no issues what so ever. Canon lives up to its name on this one!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of features, excellent quality, happy making!I am hugely excited to be the owner of this high-quality color printer/scanner/copier/all-in-one machine. I received the product for free in exchange for an honest review, and although I may not have otherwise been in the market for such a machine, it has genuinely revitalized my enthusiasm for both photography and technology. I have been having a lot of fun exploring the printer's features and capabilities, with a focus thus far on printing a variety of personal photographs and downloaded hi-resolution art images to fill an assortment of long-empty frames that will soon be making my apartment walls look significantly better. This unit also made it simple and even pleasurable to scan in some photos I have of my grandmother when she was a baby -- a task I have been meaning to attend to for years now, and may have continued to put off were it not for the convenience the Pixma provided me. I am not an expert in color printers/scanners by any means, but the quality seems awesome and there are lots of convenient features including auto-on, an interactive touch screen, wireless connectivity, ability to control the unit from my computer or smartphone, ability to scan directly into Google Drive/Dropbox/etc, and access to a variety of free printables including coloring pages, sudoku puzzles, greeting cards, and more. The product is also visually attractive on my desk (I got it in red -- nice!) and fairly intuitive to use. Getting the product initially setup was a bit more time-consuming than I expected, but not at all difficult and worth my patience. At one point I did struggle to get the printer to automatically recognize when I was loading photo paper in the rear tray as opposed to non-photo paper in the cassette tray; I ended up printing a couple of photos from the cassette tray out of impatience, and they actually look pretty good aside from a some subtle horizontal lines going across the image in places. When I resolved the paper tray recognition problem (I had to manually change the presets on my computers print dialogue box from "Photo on Plain Paper" to "Photo on Photo Paper" -- duh?) the printed images looked flawless -- no lines, rich colors, and surprisingly fast. I am excited to experiment with printing on different types of papers, printing labels for my pantry jars, making custom cards for friends, scanning in my daughter's artwork, and not having to pay unnecessarily exorbitant shipping charges to online printing companies for just a few 5x7s. I would definitely recommend this printer to a friend and am looking forward to continuing to use it on the regular!
