I have no problem with the Crucial product line. Their products seem excellent to me (as I would expect). My problem, and from reports from friends their problem also, is in the proper functioning of the on-line web store at Crucial. The store appears to be very buggy when trying to check out after having selected your desired products. Some of the pages that should show up in the store just hang forever, never seeming to eventually load. I had to try to check out several times, in different and new web sessions, in order to finally get a successful checkout.

Helped my MacBook Pro work like it was brand new
After running on 4 GB for most of the life of my 2012 MacBook Pro, my computer hit a point where it was taking four to five minutes to open Microsoft Excel. I also needed to be able to run the Adobe Creative Suite, and again faced long load times and incredible lag in the performance. I ordered this 16 GB kit from Crucial, it arrived in time and was incredibly easy to install. Since then, my computer is back to running almost better than when I got it.
For my model specifically (Mid-2012, 2.5 GHZ Intel Core i5), Apple lists that you can only upgrade to 8 GB. HOWEVER, it recognizes all 16 GB since my upgrade, so go ahead and give yourself that extra processing power if you're thinking about it.

Very good product
I had issues with my mac being very slow because I leave a lot of tabs open due to multiple emails, school and work websites being up and this new RAM is so much nicer than my standard 4gb RAM.

The extra RAM in my mid-2012 MacBook Pro is awesome. My computer does not slow down for anything now. Can run multiple applications with no hesitation or wait. Super easy to install. Computer stays cool. Highly recommend if you're looking to improve your computer's performance.

works fine on a macbook pro 13" mid 2012 Core i5 - 2.5GHZ. (MacBookPro9,2) The system sees all 16GB despite apple says it can only take 8GB max. increases the intel graphics memory to 1536 MB.

Perfect upgrade for Apple MacBook Pro MD101, 102, 103, 104
With 15+ years of experience in upgrading Mac systems in Chile -and with knowing of another brands with some failed modules, data corruption and warranty procedures-, now I'm selling and installing Crucial for Mac memory upgrades only: All Mac systems with Crucial Memory Upgrades runs fine and fast with this memory modules. None of them has failed, no one memory error ever, no need to loose time and money with warranties. This DDR3L 1.35V also capable of work with DDR3 1.5V makes this compatible with PC systems too, so for a bit $ more than the generic DDR3, this DDR3L is a more convenient option from at investment point of view too.

Purchased for wife's 27" Mac. Product fit and works as expected. Increased speed when she has multiple photo editing software's open. This is the second set on Crucial memory we have purchased and both purchases were un-eventful, as expected.

Skeptics fear not...16GB worked seamlessly on mid 2012 MBP
Breathed some new life into my 2012 MBP. Glad I went with 16 GB, because I see in the memory monitor it's using 6-8gb continuously, running Catalina. Going with 8GB would have been OK, but would likely be looking at upgrading again down the road. Amazing that a 12 year old computer is still running so well (after installing the Crucial memory that is.)

I have just installed this in a computer. The computer is running a little easier. It had 8GB installed and now it's 16GB. I shall continue to monitor the performance of the computer. I may even consider upgrading the operating system.
