Data Recovery Information:
CDW will facilitate this service for all IDE, EIDE, and Serial ATA (SATA) interface hard drives. Any hard drives that are a part of a RAID set, (RAID 0, RAID 5, etc.) that need data recovery, this EDC does not apply. The customer will be quoted a price and contacted by the Repair Center. Lost data may be recovered within 7 to 15 business days depending on the severity of the damage. Customers will be updated by the Repair Coordinators with the status of the recovery throughout the process.
Steps:
1. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number needs to be created and approved by the Customer Relations department.
2. Customer needs to sign a data recovery work order form and fax it to 847-465-3455. Email repaircoordinators@cdw.com for the document.
3. If data is not able to be recovered, only a Bench Fee (EDC 769209) will be charged to the customer. The Repair Center will enter the charges on the final order.
4. All data recovery orders are processed through the Repair Center as prices listed do not include any additional parts and shipping costs.
