I just wish you sold some sort of adapter to allow it to fit the monitor stand on the SE2419H monitor. I had purchased a package of the Inspiron 3671 and the SE2419H monitor not realizing that it was a "special" monitor and you had no sound bar that would fit the monitor. Because there is no space on our desk for separate speakers, I went ahead and purchased this sound bar but it has to lay on the base of the monitor stand. Only 3 stars because it won't fit and no adapter to mount it to the SE2149H monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied The reason for purchase was that our office purchased new Dell monitors that does not have the capability to use our existing sound equipment. I share an office with someone and have to plug earbuds into the soundbar. There is so much background noise and words are very distorted. I can't even use the product in the office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AC511M Speaker and Bracket work but Bracket could be better. The Speakers work fine, the mount works, but I think there is a much better way to make a suitable bracket. Before these brackets were available, I made my own to use with an Ultra-Sharp monitor. It was two pieces of angled plastic (think Angle Iron shape) that I attached to the back of the monitor with Velcro strips and had cutouts for the speaker tabs to lock into. Works and looks great and keeps the speaker tight to the bottom of the monitor. The ASM01 brackets hold the speaker so low it's in the way. I like that the bracket can be used as a retro-fit, but keep working on the design please.

Sound is decent (much better than the the stock speakers in the XPS). They are a great add on and have a very small footprint.

Support advice & knowledge was in the error. Fully 4-6 weeks later, sound bar performance great...I zip-tied speaker to stand upright, so it’s passable. 4-stars for soundbar, 0.5 star for incorrect Dell tech advice! Thanks

The only problem I have run into with this soundbar is the mounting on a multi-monitor stand. For the multi-monitor stand the vertical support is too wide for the sound bar to snap around it, leaving it to sit on the bottom of the base as the only option.

I wish Dell would sell something that both attached reliably to their monitors and sounded just a little better. I will likely search elsewhere for something better. "IF" this mount fits your stand, this is a decent speaker and will look good under your monitor.

I would think that there would be a way to make it more integrated with the monitor.

It fits under my P2715Q, no need for the mount (good!), I wish the web page had been clearer about this.

And even then the volume set point is so high that I only use the 10% of the range. This is supposed to be for a monitor where you sit close, not a TV where you're across the room, so this is a frustrating choice. I replaced it with a higher quality product after a week.

The reason, the attachment depth is very thin so it won't work on monitor risers that are thicker than 1 inch. If I were to make this sound bar better, I would make the attachment adjustable both way, not only width wise, but also depth wise for the thicker risers on monitors.

Not super tinny like some others in this price range; clean enough sound for classical / acoustic at low to medium volumes while working is what I use it for and its fine. Does not clip onto, but works with Dell 27 Gaming Monitor: S2721DGF At first I had some trouble trying to get this to work with my gaming monitor plugged into my laptop. What you need to do to get it to work is plug the upstream USB that is provided with the monitor into your computer. (This is also great if you want to plug in your mouse receiver, or keyboard usb, into the ports on the bottom of the monitor rather than into your computer). After that it should work perfectly. Thought I would share incase anyone else is struggling. Overall is a good product. Would recommend.

If your monitor doesn't have the slots for the speaker, dell does provide a little clamp for the base of the monitor. However, I have yet to find a Dell monitor it fits. My 49" ultrawide, and 3 of my 27" p series don't fit. This isn't a setback for me as I glued a flat Lego to the top and mount it that way, but for some it might be annoying. Otherwise, the speaker is quite good quality. No problems with conferences or the mic. Have purchased a few of these and for the price they are just good speakers in general without upgrading to a while speaker system.

The sound is much better than the built-in pc speaker. High fidelity it is not but the sound is more than adequate for watching videos or Zoom Meeting where music quality is not important. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

It’s not clear that the attachments only work with some monitors. I have it flopping around on my desk as a result. The sound quality is excellent though.

Gets plenty loud and voices are clear. Like many other reviewers I found the item description less than clear regarding which monitors this will attach to. Mine was not one of the compatible models, but I 3D printed an adapter and got it mounted.

I took a chance that it would fit because the photo looked similar. Didn't work so I had to tape (3M auto trim) it to the monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dell ACS511 USB Not worth it, audio quality. On top of that it's driven by an intel chip and appears as "Intel® Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio". The problem with that is that in the Sound Control Panel you miss out on any possible enhancements. Volume control is a digital jog that controls you Windows main audio and can get confusing while listening on Headphones. The only reason I had bought it was for it to be plugged in to a USB Port that is not connected to any computer for power purposes and use Line in for any and all audio. Dell, please provide a firmware update that can just do that as right now unless it's plugged in to a PC as a Device it doesn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Laptop Speaker Recently bought a laptop that had subpar speakers, and didn't want to purchase a whole stereo set that would take up too much room. Thankful this speaker bar works wonderfully for what I need. One cable (USB) for power and audio was a must, and the addition of mic in and line out are a great addition. It would be nice if there was a smaller model, and if it had modular USB, so you could choose the USB cable length on your own, but other than those desires, I found this to be a great solution to my problem!

It was easy to install and so far I am happy with it. The sound is average and I am not sure if the sound can be adjusted or not. If you need a reasonable sound bar the Dell Stereo Speaker will suffice.

I tried to make it work on mine but the design is so specific to the mount and the monitor that i havent found a solution yet. It also has trouble staying connected on my mac. It is good for its price, but not actually very good compared to something in the next tier up in quality. I was hoping it would surprise me, but it didn't, and I'll probably go with something else at some point. Pros: -It did clamp to my monitor stand just fine. -It does give me audio, which I was hoping for. -It can get fairly loud. -It was quite low priced. Cons: -The audio is tied to your windows settings. It doesn't have independent volume control. -The audio is a bit crackly when volume is raised too high. -The audio sounds a bit fuzzy when too low. -I still need to run a USB cable from the monitor if I plug this into the monitor, so it doesn't really save much on the cables needed unless I am using more USB ports on the monitor. Conclusion: It is fine if all you want is audio, don't care about the quality, and want fewer things on your desk top. I'd recommend upping your budget a little more and buying something nicer if you can.

Sound is not any louder than Macbook Pro m1 existing built in speakers, so it isn't an advantage. Lots of issues when opening and closing laptop lid - sometimes it switches to laptop speakers instead of the soundbar, as Mac doesn't play nice with audio over USB when laptop is opened. Have to manually switch it everytime.

The bracket to clip onto the monitor stand isn't deep enough for the stand on this monitor, but it will work if you mount the sound bar facing backwards. This isn't ideal but there isn't a huge difference in sound quality, but some people might not like that. Having a volume knob is a nice feature vs buttons. Sound quality is ok and comparable to normal desktop speakers - which was the expectation at this price.

Easier to manage wires, etc. However, the sound is pitiful compared to the Logitech Z200s I'd been using. This sound bar is only a little better than the laptop speakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dell stereo soundbar. Dedicated monitor mount. Sound bar mount is dedicated to the specific monitor. No other option to mount to a different style monitor. Doesnt fit my monitor, but the sound is great. Rated the bar for the sound, not the mounting setup.
