Doesn't work
I bought this as a suggested add-on to my xps, and the USB adapter is the wrong size. The mouse needs a standard USB, while the mouse requires USB-C It won't connect to the computer's internal Bluetooth, so it's basically a $50 paperweight.

Thanks for such beautiful product.
This is just an awesome mouse. The design is simply neat, mouse works and slides great, BT connection without any problems under Win10 (Intel BT power management tweak needed in my case, not to put BT in sleep) and Ubuntu Linux as well.
What other users mention as a problem in pointer movement or precision is just consequence of the sensor on the top edge. I seriously needed to change my long time habit in mouse handling - it is different. But worth it.

Good Ergonomics but piece or junk
I like the feel but it only lasted 2 months. Stops randomly and is hard to get started again. Finally stopped for good and cursor slowly drifts and right button only works. Bought is with my Dell Latitude 5570. Used it via bluetooth. Save your money and do not buy.

Very very disappointed
1 star for the look. Other than that, nothing is better than my $10 wired mouse.
It's not very precise. I am an IT Developer, it takes forever for me to point at the "+" sign in front of the database. Also, if I want to highlight a some words precisely, it's almost impossible.
If I can return it, I will; otherwise, it will be sitting in my drawer for sure.

Curious Little Fellow of Greatness
This came with my recent Dell Latitude laptop purchase. Initially, I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. It took me a moment or two to find the battery compartment (see "Curious Fellow", below), but after attachment of the dongle to the USB port, inserting the battery and turning on the mouse, all was rosy. I never have disconnect problems and the mouse is smooth and easy to operate. It's also quite responsive. Now, about the curious part. It certainly IS and odd design! That's when you first see it. It actually looks like the winner of an abstract modern art class or assignment. Which, after a moment of thought, it probably was.
A very nice little mouse that doesn't cost much to own or feed.

Really unconfortable
After a day working with this, you will have to rest your hand for another day.
Because od the "stylish" desing, your fingers does't have a place to rest so your finger will have to roll underneath. it will make your forearm and wrist hurt a lot !!!
And it is not accutare.

I have fallen in love with this mouse its sleek curved design makes it very easy to move its so light weight it almost just glides. As someone needing to use a good mouse this has been perfect my only issue has been just how touchy the buttons can be so sometimes i seem to hit the right click button when trying to navigate but im still very thrilled with this mouse and highly recommend it

So good I had to buy one for work too!
I originally got this as part of the Dell Wireless set with my XPS 27 AIO. Since then, I found myself taking this mouse everywhere. So I decided to go ahead and get a second mouse to leave at work and then to use this one at home. I love the simplicity of setting it up and being able to toggle between different devices, so i can multitask even more than before.

Mouse works good and has an interesting design. Im just quite disappointed by used materials. It just feels like cheap plastic mouse. Wouldnt buy for the offered price again. I had some issues with this mouse, Dell support dealt with it professionally, but even tho I expected I had full warranty, I received a refurbished piece (the purchased mouse was used for over a month).

Dissapointed
Have had this about 1 month. Installed and used it for a week until my laptop started going to sleep randomly. So I pulled apart my laptop thinking it was a faulty screen switch but could not find a problem. I switched back to my old blue tooth mouse and my laptop no longer went to sleep randomly. I went back the new WM527 mouse and the problem returned. Check windows event viewer and found an entry for Event ID 42 "The system is entering Sleep. Sleep Reason: Button or Lid".
I also found that this mouse did not work as well on some of the surfaces as my previous mouse, even though the product stated it worked on more surfaces which is what influenced me to purchase this particular mouse.

Durable And Works on Most Surfaces
Excellent for working on most surfaces except for slippery ones like a laminated, non-textured flat page. I’ve used this on on sheets; leather, feathers, clothing, and other odd materials with no issues. The buttons are a bit sensitive so be cautious. I ended up purchasing two because my college bound son almost took mine because he likes it so much. Plus I travel with it, have dropped it more times than I’d care to share yet it performs and not one scratch. Of course I don’t recommend dropping it. I do carry it in a bag but it’s durable and actually has a great battery life if you choose better batteries. Love this product.

Works great with the dongle and poorly using Bluetooth. I would recommend it with reservations.
This mouse works well with the dongle based on that alone I would give it 5 stars. When connected using Bluetooth was poor it was a completely different mouse.
I got this as a replacement for the mouse that came with my Dell All in One. That mouse fell apart after 6 months of moderate to heavy daily use.
A friend had this mouse and I tried it on my friend's system. The size is perfect and it was very comfortable and worked well. My friend used it with the included dongle and never had any connection issues.
When I purchased the mouse I used Bluetooth initially, I did not think about using the dongle and left it in the box in a drawer. I really liked the design right away. The WM527 is perfectly arched and fit my hand and is comfortable to use. It has a wheel in the middle for scrolling and two buttons (L & R) on each side for paging forward and back and on off button on the bottom and takes two AAA batteries. I really enjoy using this mouse.
It worked fine for a few weeks then had trouble connecting. The BT had issues and the only way to fix it was to delete the BT device in Windows 10, turn Bluetooth off, turn Bluetooth on again, and add the device. This fixed the issue for a while, sometimes a week, a few days or a few hours there was no particular pattern. Then the BT would stop working again and I had to repeat this process and this got annoying.
The other issue I noticed was how quickly I went through batteries when connected with BT.
I spoke with my friend who recommended this mouse. My friend agreed that the BT was horrible and suggested I only use the dongle. So I opened the drawer and connected using the dongle and the mouse has worked perfectly ever since. Using the dongle only is not an issue for me because it is my primary mouse on my large stationary All-In-One computer. I purchased it to use on my desktop. I don't need to use it on other devices or take it with me for travel and my computer has enough USB ports that dedicating one for the mouse is not a problem.
If you are looking for a Bluetooth mouse I would skip this one. It works great with the dongle I can see how someone who wants to use one mouse with multiple devices and does not want the hassle of moving the dongle from device to device would be frustrated. Also, this would not work well with a tablet because it does not have a USB port that would allow you to use the dongle and I am not sure if it would work to plug the dongle into a data hub. So if you are considering this mouse for multiple devices and must use Bluetooth for a computer/laptop with limited USB ports or for a tablet I would not recommend this mouse.

Difficult to use
1) The mouse feels sturdy, it is well built and looks stylish. The buttons work well.
2) However, it's difficult to use. The "scrolling wheel" is not very sensitive and I have to stroke it twice to get what I want. Once scrolling stopped to work, I had to pull out the batteries and insert back to make it work.
3) The mouse doesn't move smoothly on my desk (it has a slightly uneven surface). Part of the problem is that the gliders on the bottom are rough. I would prefer them to be polished.
I thought I would get used to it but I couldn't and bought a $30 Microsoft mouse. It works fine on the same desk and with the same Dell laptop. However, I am not returning the Dell mouse. After I go home, I want to polish the gliders and see how the mouse works on a better surface.

Easy Install and works great!
This mouse has a distinct, modern, and stylish look to it. I have 2 laptops, one running Windows 10, and the other running Windows 7. I connected this mouse using the USB wireless receiver. Both laptops recognized and installed the drivers for this mouse quickly and with no issues. It definitely feels different then the mouse I used prior. It glides smoother and is more sensitive. The senstivity took awhile to get use to. I prefer to use it on a mouse pad, however I noticed it works just fine without one. I feel the shape of this mouse is best when used with small hands. I have long fingers, so my hand felt to big to grip comfortably. I still like it and will use it regardless.

It glides over any surface
I absolutely loved this mouse, it was super easy to put together with just putting the little Bluetooth piece into the usb and the batteries into the mouse and it automatically set itself to my laptop. I had it sitting on my leg and didn't realize until I went to pick it up that it was scrolling on my leg already before placing it on a desk or a hard surface. That's a huge thing for myself because I'm always on the go and on the train or bus there isn't always a lot of space to move. The curved rainbow shape works perfect for my hand and I don't have to strain to get it to work. I couldn't ask for anything more in a mouse!

Really wish I read reviews before purchasing the mouse and keyboard combo. I needed a silent keyboard and thought mouse a bonus. Happy with keyboard but this mouse is terrible. Cannot use but a short time before hand cramps and need to put away. Also, I right click a million times by mistake due to the design. Finally got so over it put away and grabbed old Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.

Convenient and comfortable bluetooth compatible mouse
Pros:
-Great ergonomics, similar shape to mice from the company with a fruit logo.
-Stylish shape with a semi-rubbery top surface for easier grip
-5 buttons (6 counting the device 1/2/3 toggle): left, middle, right, and a back & forward button on each side of mouse
-Good quality clickers
-Great battery life (so far). Dell advertises 6 months (i'm guessing with standard alkaline) but it works fine with Heavy Duty and Lithium too (people complaining of bad battery life probably had it paired with devices without BLE; Bluetooth Low Energy - or they were using poor quality rechargeable batteries which drain by themselves even with little to no use.)
-Automatically turns itself off when not used to save power (takes a little movement to get going).
-Convenient button to toggle between paired devices.
Cons:
-Kind of picky about mousing surface: cursor is jumpy on some surfaces like cloth mousepads (this is an issue with most laser mice but I had this issue even on a quality microfiber mousepad). Technically it will track moderately OK on anything (glass, shiny laminated wood, marble countertops, etc) I would recommend a good hard plastic semi-rough style mousepad. They come in many sizes and shapes. Even a sheet of printer paper works well in a pinch.
-Precise movements can sometimes be difficult, Dell had to make a compromise between battery life and performance. Most people don't need super pinpoint accuracy, it's more than sufficient for 90% of PC use cases - just don't expect gaming/artist grade accuracy (but mousing surface makes a HUGE difference in small movement accuracy). If you're willing to make the compromise to swap out or charge batteries every 6-12 hours for better accuracy then get a gaming/professional grade mouse (or a wired).
-Included wireless receiver has limited range, seems to need to be within 12-18 inches and in direct line of sight or cursor becomes jumpy. (Native bluetooth pairing seems to work best, unless you have a junk wireless card or junk bluetooth dongle)
-Mouse can rock left/right on some surfaces due to tiny mouse feet decreasing accuracy, but is fine on hard surfaces.
-Mouse wheel sometimes jumps more than one notch, but maybe only in poor wireless signal strength conditions.
-Side back/forward buttons can be a little awkward to press, but maybe my hand just needs to remember where they are.
-I'd recommend this in the KM717 bundle if you find it below MSRP or if you can get it cheap bundled with another product but buying the mouse alone I wouldn't recommend since there are many alternatives with similar shape/style.

Great Design
I bought the Dell WM527 Premier Wireless Mouse to replace a previous Dell Wireless Mouse that went bad after four or five years. The new mouse works good just like the one before. Design is nice. Jury still out on longevity which is key to me. Let you know in a few years.

Average mouse
Mouse works good and has an interesting design. Im just quite disappointed by used materials. It just feels like cheap plastic mouse. Wouldnt buy for the offered price again. I had some issues with this mouse, Dell support dealt with it professionally, but even tho I expected I had full warranty, I received a refurbished piece (the purchased mouse was used for over a month.

Great for the price
Great for the price, just wish it had bluetooth built in instead of having to plug in a Bluetooth adapter in a USB port. Waste of port.

Great mouse
The Dell WM527 Premier Wireless mouse is a really cool mouse. It does have a really weird shape that takes getting use to but after you get use to the shape it is awesome! It was very easy to connect to my computer and looks so cool. It navigates really well and I haven’t had any problems with it. It charges fast and stays charged for a long time. The color is simple but a nice fit to my computer and accessories. I’ve already gotten a few nice compliments on the shape and color.

Flimsy cover
Nice mouse and all, BUT!
That cover concealing batteries and the Bluetooth adapter while not in use seems very flimsy. Don’t expect to last long after daily removal/attachment.

Much better options for Dell XPS 13 laptop, but 5 stars for Dell return service.
It was bulky and larger than I expected. In addition, it was a recommended purchase with the Dell XPS13 which only has USB C connectors, so this mouse did not work without an additional adapter. As a result I returned it. I will give Dell 5-stars for their return policy and service.

Worth the price
The mouse is good enough for normal use. I have read previous reviews, I'm a software developer and although I mostly use the keyboard for navigation in the code, I'm absolutely able to select the code that I want with the mouse. One thing that takes some time to get used to, that sensor was placed on the front of the mouse, because of this you should move this mouse differently, for example in selection, than other mice. But the multi connection is very useful when you want to use just one mouse for 2 or more computers.

Don't waste your money
I wish I had not purchased this mouse. The left button sticks more time than it works. It misfunctions more than the 5 year old non wireless mouse I have does, which is sad. Look elsewhere since this one is not worth it.

Cool Looking Mouse!
This is by far one of the coolest looking mouse I've seen in a while! It has a nice curve that contours nicely in the palm of my hand. When you look at it, you would think there was no room for two AAA batteries due to its slick and thin case design. It worked just like any other mouse I've used. It has a long range so issues with reception when plugged into the back of my desk top sitting on the floor.
Using the mouse will take a little getting use to. The cool curve shape doesn't allow for enough surface contact to securely grasp the mouse so it feels a bit awkward. The designer could have placed the back and forward buttons further back or not so easily depress-able, if that's a word. For this reason, i found myself clicking the back buttons by accident and it was a bit nerve-wracking.
All in all, it's a cool mouse, but hands are too big for it so i gave it a four.

Nice look, hard to use
I wound up returning this mouse after a couple of weeks. It's very attractive, but I found it to be too light to properly control, and my hand would cramp up from the grip I had to use to hold it.

Awesome ergonomic mouse
I've tried at least fifteen wireless mice over the last few years and nothing wants to work with my little stubby fingers that go numb easily. This mouse was great. Responsive, tacitle, enjoyable to use, simple to understand, and all that jazz. I hooked it up to my lenovo yoga and have been nothing but pleased. My only grip is that it won't fit into my travel laptop bag for those coffee bar writing sessions.

Worked good for a little while
I bought this mouse back in November with the wireless keyboard. The wireles keyboard quit working about 3 months ago and now my mouse has decided to quit working like it did when I first purchased it. I have changed the batteries and cleaned the mouse and still no luck. The mouse lags and does not move around as smoothly as it did when I first got it. Kind of disappointed since the keyboard and mouse combo cost me about $100 and neither one works anymore. Will not purchase again and would not recommend it to anyone.
