Poor Quality / Short Lifespan
We have a wave of these adapters go bad for our users every couple months. In addition, our workstations are Dell and same as our display monitors, so not likely a compatibility issue.
Even with warranties still valid as a Dell customer and Dell Pro Support ability from purchasing our new desktops, there is much difficulty in the process having support ship replacement adapters. Dell Sales department lacks the care to offer possible alternatives or attempt to make matters smooth internally keeping our business going forward.

Minor Issue combined with a D6000
The D6000 dock had to be upgraded to firmware ver 20, then this DP to VGA adapter worked on projectors with a 50' cable run. Only one D6000 install failed so far, used an HDMI to VGA instead on that one unit. I did find that Dock updates failed using Windows 10, but works great in WIndows 11.

Great Investment
We have a number of VGA monitors that aren't worn out yet, but it's not as easy to get a computer with VGA ports as it used to be. These adapters have helped us defray some of the costs of replacing our computers by allowing us to put off replacing the monitors until the monitors are worn out.
