I can barely discern ink on the paper when it exits the printer, and it worked just fine before I changed cartridges. Please send instructions on how to return these cartridges and replace them with a fresh batch. I believe this batch is old and the ink has evaporated. Whatever the problem, I need cartridges that work. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A big disappointment The colors are sharp and brilliant when you first print them, using HP photo paper. However, within 5-6 months the photos' colors begin to fade, and within a year the picture is washed out and rather colorless. Apparently the only way to get good, permanent colors is by using commercial photo printing companies instead. It is a big disappointment because we purchased our HP printer precisely to print permanent pictures at home. A big mistake.

I always buy at Target but decided to pick it up at Walmart and now I have experienced an empty cartridge. Can't print a thing until I replace it and have to go get a new one. I do know the individual cartridges have more ink loaded than the photopacks but the photo paper makes up for it. It's nice to have them all at your fingertips when you need them but a real inconvenience when you get an empty one when you need it the most for important business. I love my printer, its great!

In my usage of the paper however I found the prints were darker and seemed underexposed verses other Hp photo paper such as Premium Plus. I had to adjust the settings to make up for the difference. My printer is a PhotoSmart 8250

Their ink cartridges last a long time and the ink doesn't smudge or smear and the colors are so vivid. I print a lot of photos on HP photo paper and they look professional. HP is the BEST!!

I quickly ran out or ink and i'm not sure that the hp 02 series for hp photo packs hpcb279w i need black and cyan. i would like to replenish all the colors at $39.99 it seems a bit pricey.

I was surprised that the packaging for the ink cartridges does not display the expiration dates. This is a problem because the HP 02 inks will not print after the expiration date.

When I ordered this, I found a couple of colors that were used more quickly than others. I made the error of ordering a couple more packs - with the same results. I then determined it was better for me to order a couple of specific inks along with this value pack. A Christmas project this year ate two of these little jewels within a month's time. A lot more expensive project than I anticipated. Plan your purchases carefully for true value on the dollar.

This is the first time I ordered from HP and they gave me $5 off and every dollar saved is great. I have had my HP printer for 3 years and have only used HP ink cartridges and I have never had any trouble with any of them. I will probably use this company again.

After comparing the mL of ink in this package compared to the HP Color set without the photo paper, it is much less. This is a good deal if you want to get photo paper in the package, just realize your ink will run out sooner than if you bought the individual inks or color package.

If you ever get a cartrige that only gives a few photos or pages and goes dry, Just call HP, tell them the code numbers on the cartrige and they will mail you a replacement. With Millions of cartriges being made and filled every month, a few will slip through the Quality Control and that is where you come in. Letting HP know there was a problem, helps them improve their quality and they reward you with free a replacement. The 02 and 564 inks do not have built in print heads. There are tubes that go from the cartrige to the print head that must maintain a certain fill to keep the print head from drying out. The longest tubes require more filling and could cause the "replace catrige soon" warning to come up if they had been drained while printing. This is very true on the photo value packs because there is very little ink in each cartrige. The ink is still there, just in the fill tube rather than in the replacable cartrige. If your printer will not print because the fill tube is getting to low, and you just put in a cargrige, Manually do a print head clean, turn off the machine, wait 15 seconds then turn the machine back on. You should get a "Wait, Printer preparation occuring". if it still will not print and you get a "repace cartrige" notice or "continue in black and white only", then call the HP service line and let them know, tell them your ink cartrige problem and request a replacment ink.

I printed a diagnostic page and the ink was installed on 1-22-18 and expiration date is 2-19-20. I was very disappointed in my purchase.

While discussing it with an HP sales associated recently I discovered the ink cartridges in this package contain only a fraction (less than half) the ink of the conventional cartridges. This is not apparent in any of the advertising or packaging.

I am within 2 miles of a national chain office supply store, but find the lower price and quick shipping on the photo value pack to be worth waiting a day or so. My HP Photosmart printer does an excellent job. I have had it several years, but it still produces professional grade photos, due in part to the fact that I always use HP ink and photo paper.

I have discovered that the ink cartridges don't come close to their estimated performance. I feel like I'am constantly getting low and replace cartridge warnings. The 02 > 6 cartridge system does give us beautiful pictures which we are happy with though.

But one of the cartridges was empty when I went to use it and another one was almost empty...as soon as I installed it, the printer told me it was low and I should replace it soon. Great to get so much photo paper, but with low ink supplies, I can't afford to print off too many photos.

This has happened even if the packacge has not been opened. You have no way of knowing if it's fresh. So I went right to the company. I got it free shiping and next day air. And I know it's fresh!

Another plus is the packaging didn't seem to have as much waste as the individual cartridges. Still amazed the materials show up the next business day. It is too expensive and uneconomical to order just one cartridge. The website promised 2-4 shipping but it took 5 business days plus two weekend days to receive it. My printing project was delayed. Now I have three black cartridges sitting in my drawer because I do mostly picture printing which apparently doesn't use up as much black as it does color. Just pretty sick of this process and cost of ink.

So far I can't print in Color. I get a message each time that the blue cartridge is empty. I don't know whether there's something wrong with the cartridges or something gone wrong with my printer.

It is getting a bit more difficult finding my particular ink (02). I know HP will have my ink for awhile yet and I know when I buy it through HP it will be fresh (not out of date) and they will send expediently. Went to staples ..office max..and Walmart to no avail... ultimately had to order online thru you... now the problem ...this is my 3rd multi pack and now have 3 unused yellow cartridges and 2 dark blues and 2 pinks ...do you want me to mail them back to you for credit as the only ones that run dry are black..magenta and light blue...abd those are never available individually

I was going to order only the HP 02 colors that I needed. Not a problem unless you discard the 02 line. My7280 all in one is fine. I was not going to upgrade at this time. Your products are fine.

I put the new black ink cartridge in my printer and printed 40 one page, double spaced, letters plus 7 pages of 60 address labels when my printer warned me that the cartridge was empty. I have used this printer for years, always with this size ink cartridge and get a lot more printing that that. Frustrated, I put the second black ink cartridge in the printer - because I had more letters to print - and the printer warned me the cartridge was only half full. I have read other's complaints about almost empty HP ink cartridges ordered from other suppliers but never in a million years would I have expected that ordering from HP. How do I go about getting replacements????

It is now almost impossible to find black or any other colors on line or locally. We were informed that HP-02 cartridges are being discontinued. Happy to receive two value packs with a earlier than normal expiration date. Disappointed that I have to purchase a new printer and HP has not notified the public, nor made a substitute cartridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Received year old ink I purchased the Photo Value Pack online from the HP store on 08/31/2020. I received the product on 09/10/2020. I could have made this purchase from Amazon for exactly the same cost and would have gotten it in 2 days. However, I chose to buy it directly from HP because I was concerned that I would receive a product that had been sitting on the shelf for months, or longer. After waiting 10 days to receive the ink set, I installed the magenta cartridge and ran the extended self test diagnostic. The test showed a fault in that cartridge, with the advice to perform a clean the print head routine. I did not take that action because I also noted from the test that the cartridge was manufactured on 08/06/2019, more than a year before my purchase. I initiated a chat online and after almost 40 minutes in communication with a very nice agent, I was set up with an RMA to return the product. I asked that I be guaranteed to get a more currently manufactured product, but the agent said she could not make that guarantee. I likely will not get a replacement product for 20 - 25 days because the product I received had to be shipped back via Fedex ground and received by HP before they would ship the replacement product to me, most likely by 10-day slow boat, again. What are the chances I will get another ink set that was manufactured over a year ago? Highly likely. Would I have done better ordering from Amazon? At least I would have a new ink set right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install but have to clean printheads 3 X The ink modules are easy to install but, the same as before, two years ago, I had to run the Clean Printheads 3 or 4 times and do the Printer Alignment a couple of times to be sure since all of the inks are great except for Magenta - the last module on the right because, as before, it prints a light lilac at first and doesn't change until the last Cleaning. Printed several lovely photos and will be wanting to do many more. I had to pay so much more this time, though and apparently HP doesn't send the orders out for next day or two day shipping anymore.

I bought this even though I didn’t need to replace all the colors because local retailers no longer stock the individual inks in store, just this package. I replaced the single cartridge that was low on a Photosmart printer that was previously printing reliably. The printer launched into an extended automatic cleaning cycle and then demanded two more cartridges not previously out of ink be replaced. Mysteriously the new cartridge was reading almost empty and was unusually light-- I suspect it was severely under filled or had air in it at the factory. After replacing those, the printer immediately displayed “ink system has failed” (Error 0xc18A001) and has been unrecoverable, despite hard resets, etc. Almost like it was trying to maximize ink revenue for HP before giving up the ghost. Retailer will not accept a return, even on the unopened cartridges, since some in the package were opened. So I am out over $80 with tax without having printed a page. If you have a Photosmart printer, buy single cartridges online instead. That way if one of the channels causes a printer failure, you aren’t left holding the bag on a box full of unused cartridges and paper!

I bought the value pack about three weeks ago because I ran out of one of the five inks in my printer and noted that three others were running low. About ten days later, while running a color print job, the printer ran out of two more colors! I replaced three colors as the third one was "on the line" for running out. I have already put those four empty cartridges plus four others I had laying around, into the "Recycle" envelope, ready for the mail tomorrow, after the holiday.

We waited and when they arrived many Cartridges only had a couple months left before expiration. A few were a month or so longer. FULL RETAIL PRICE for nearly expired Cartridges! You of all People I relied upon to have reasonably fresh Cartridges. By the time the Cartridge Pack arrived We really needed the Printer so We were forced to use the old product. Our HP Printer would not print even though inly one Color Cartridge was out. I have not felt well, and did not have the energy to call. Pretty disappointed as these were about $80.!

I can buy it on the website or telephone and speak to a person, if I have questions. It arrives quickly and I can keep working on my projects. I have always bought genuine HP ink and feel it is the very best. I just bought a new HP printer, but it is nice to have my old one, too. HP is quality!

The printer would n You sent me an old light blue ink cartridge made in 2009 to replace a new light blue ink cartridge that would not let the printer print at all. Still wouldn't. You owe me a new light blue in or 2 of them. That was very stressful as I was trying to print my taxes to mail. If not for the extension I would have been in great trouble.
