I give this review 4.5 stars, because all 4 individual toners were on my doorstep instead of being in an (unmarked) box. I wasn't home at the time. My neighbor was kind enough to call me to inform me, I had packages at my door. I am a faithful HP consumer and will continue to order my products. My only request: please put the toners in a box.

The warning added that I should have an extra cartridge on hand, but that I need not replace the existing cartridge just yet. Fine. HP might even send the same warning once a day. However, for the past week I have been receivng that same warning 25 times a day. I got the message. I bought the back-up cartridge. You can stop harassing me now.

The HP support was the core reason for selecting this product. The purchase was in 2019 and I am still unable to contact a real person to give me direction in the resolution of my concerns. My husband is constantly reminding me that this is an inferior product and a poor choice. We are extremely frustrated with this purchase. As a Realtor in NH I rely on my devices to make my day to day work go smoothly. For many years my office ran effectively with a workhorse HP older model of the same equipment. Your support team was always there for us and assisted us whenever there were issues. It was a "no brainer" to purchase the new model of the same equipment when the older model finally needed replacement. If you could share an phone number to reach someone to assist us it would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Judy

I don't do a lot of printing, so I was surprised the ink cartridges were depleted so quickly. Had to spend $400 for replacement ink cartridges. Outrageously expensive, and not sustainable (I have to pay for this myself, not my employer). I feel like I've been extorted!

The cost is almost prohibitive, but third part, far less expensive products, which I have used successfully don't always work. So periodically I spend the hundreds of dollars more and go with the HP products. Again...way overpriced.

I ‘never’ make color copies, but I have to replace all the color cartridges overtime at something near $100 a cartridge despite never making color copies. My previous HP color printer similar in size and function never did this. Why does this printer use and make me repeatedly spend $100 dollars per color cartridge despite the fact I never make a color copy? And on print jobs this printer cannot show me a print count as it prints. I would NEVER recommend this printer to anyone.

I could have purchased for $100 more from Amazon, but I figured I would try HP direct first. fast forward 4 wks later, as I am tracking the package which is listed as shipped but no activity noted. I do an online chat with HP and find out the toners HAD NEVER LEFT THE HP WAREHOUSE. Needless to say, I was not happy; the rep offered to send the cartridges but it would again take several weeks to ship. I asked for a refund, which she agreed. Fast forward 4 weeks again and no refund, so I had to place a dispute with Paypal and waiting to hear back.

Expensive but worth it since off brand cartridges are now "DIY" requiring you to break off plastic enclosures, "tweezer out" the printer chip and re-install it in new cartridges.
