So very simple to set up.

POSITIVES and NEGATIVES...
Positives include the low costs of the productive Neverstop Laser Multi-function printer and the
output of copies for the cost of the ink or toner and the eventual cost of the the drum relative to
other Hewlet-Packard printers. Overall, I was not impressed with this printer. I have heard most positive comments about the printer from other business owners relative to compactness and
low costs relative to supplies for the Neverstop. Negatives included my being told by the Hewlett-
Packard salesman that the machine had an automatic feeder; it does not. I think it printed adequately but could never find out how to increase the ink output and the printed directions were somewhat limited. Obviously, it depends on what your needs are but this is an effective, productive, and cost-sensitive to limited budgets multifunction printer.

Two months and doing well
Love the ease of setup and ink indicator. Very happy with Ethernet plug in. Excited about saving on ink in long run. Would prefer a model with a document feeder for scanning and wish paper tray was a bit bigger. Set up very easy.

Horrible Piece of Equipment
I bought one from Amazon and fortunately they allowed a return a few days after the window period. The print quality was just ok, I was looking for something sharper. The speed was not good- very slow and we do need something that prints reasonably quickly. The scan was horrendous and I would think 90 seconds to scan a one page document. I do not know if it was the equipment or the software that they have you install. All I know is that it was a huge mistake on my part to buy this printer. I have a small financial service practice, print mainly black and white and scan daily. I have had other HP products and none were ever as bad as this printer. To compound matters, customer service was below expectations,

Expensive for it's quality
The printer takes a while to print and you can only scan one page of document at a time. For that price (?) Look elsewhere. It's not worth the amount.

I have owned numerous HP computers. This MFP 1202 was the easiest to install on our network. We just made the connections, and it knew what to do. My wife and I were not on our computers, and the printer just started printing. Our son was visiting and frond it on our network.

No auto flip double sided printer
Unfortunately this printer does not automatically do two sided printing. It is manual. That is the only issue I have with this printer. Everything else is great.

Excellent hardware, terrible software
I love this printer, I HATE HP software. When the printer connects without issue, and prints, it is fantastic and I have no issues. UNFORTUNATELY this is rarely the case. I generally have to struggle with my network and connection issues for about half an hour or so to get it to print. The HP Smart software is a nightmare, and this printer would be 5/5 without the software. If HP eliminated the HP Smart software, and ensured the easy connection of their printer to your computer over wifi, then this printer would be the best. Unfortunately, trying to use the HP Smart software leads to a frustrating rabbit hole where the printer says it is connected and ready, yet unable to print. Not to mention the fact you need to create an account with them to use the software... In summary, fire your software team, and give your hardware guys a raise and you'll be back to making some of the best computers and accessories on the market.

Great Home Printer
Setup was easy. This machine prints and scans and does double sided. Further, I can download documents from my mobile phone wirelessly as well. The quality is super clear and sharp. No complaints. Works fine and replaced a machine that was on it's last legs. Wow, what an improvement.

duplex printing
I bought this printer with an understanding that it is an auto duplex printing. When I received and try duplex printing, it printed one side and required you to manually put this page in the paper carriage to print the other side.

My original review was not published because it was AWFUL! Printer will not power one, could not get ahold of customer service via website. Called two numbers and got disconnected. Opened a dispute with my cc company. Just want to return it. Will never purchase an HP again.

Trash- “Do NOT” waste your $ on this printer!
Have had printer for less than two months. Took tech help to set
Up the wireless feature. We have too busy to use printer due to
Being really busy. Might have printed 15 pages (counting test during set up). Tonight
I found time to attempt to print a few things. unfortunately, the pages feed about 3 inches, print everything on one unreadable line and paper jams. The paper tray is one of the cheapest I have ever seen. Holder is useless.

No ADF but ...
Set up was easy and operation quite intuitive. Lots of unnecessary commercial promotion with HPSmart, but it works for set up. Wish I could afford ADF.

Don’t buy!
4 tech smart ment could not install it. Called their tech support and was on the phone one hour they couldn’t help. Called the store they couldn’t help. My husband is a tech guy and he could not install it. We returned and for a totally different brand name. He said never HP again. Six wasted hours with this. Got a Brother and it took ten minutes to set up.

I like that I no longer need to buy ink. I noticed the print details were better than my brothers color printer. I may miss having color. I will not miss the expense of having color

Easy to use
The only complaint I have and this may just be because we live in a rural area, but it was a little difficult to set up with our mobile phones, but we accomplished it using a USB cord and haven't had any difficulty since.

Constantly Goes "offline"
The printer constantly goes "offline" and will not print. Turning it off/on doesn't work. The wi-fi on the panel show's it is connected but I usually have to remove and reinstall the software to get it to print. It's a very annoying problem and after looking online it appears I'm not the only one with this issue. HP used to be great quality but now I am second guessing that.

a little unsure so far
It was more difficult than it should have been to set up, but I finally got it working. It is nicely compact, prints reasonably quickly and quietly, and the network printing sometimes does work. I have only had for about a week, and I have no idea how durable it will prove to be. I have not used it for scanning yet. The copy function seems fine.

If the option were available I would give no stars. I am college educated and have an IQ of 121, and yet in the two or three months I have owned this printer I have not been able to get it to run. The instructions are neither clear, complete nor intuitive. I bought it directly from HP so there is no dealer from whom to receive assistance, and I have been unable to locate contact information for HP despite extensive efforts. Maybe it's senility but I need someone to walk me through the process. I do not live on a rowboat in the Pacific and I do have a mobile phone. Please contact me.

Great printer! Easy to set up and use. Can print from my computer or phone. Purchased it because I wanted a small footprint all-in-one. Black and white printing meets almost all of my needs. Print cartridge lasts forever and is easy to change and inexpensive.

HP used to be the best printers on the market. Quality in construction, operation, and customer service were in the top tier. Sad to say I would rate all of those in the bottom 25% in satisfaction. Paper jam, difficult to read display, inferior construction, and the ridiculous ink program, which not only didn’t send ink when needed, but when we had to purchase HPink cartridges from the local store, the printer wouldn’t operate at all, because the cartridges “weren’t recognized.”

Good Quality & Fast Printing
I bought this for small office use and its been working out very well. I love that I don't have to touch the settings on the printer to make a copy or scan... I just need to select the options via the HP print app. The only downside is not having a document feeder for multiple pages but I have a bigger printer for that.

Paper jams, lack of tech support and replacement parts make this very disappointing.
I bought this as an office printer. I like the price for printing and that for large amounts of pages it copies and prints very fast….but that is true of any laserjet. That is where my love for this printer ends. Alongside countless paper jams, there are hardly any good ways of retrieving the jammed page. As such, you can easily damage the toner cylinder just simply by touching it trying to get the paper out. Now it prints with a finger print ever 2-3 inches down the page. There is no replacement parts so a 6-month old printer already is faulting.

It broke after 6 months of light working. Contacted HP for the replacement. The second one broke just 20 days after the warranty expired. Straight out bad product.
