Just purchased this to go with My brand new Omen X laptop and no amount of cramming or stuffing will allow it even come close to fitting into the laptop compartment area of the bag. It will BARELY fit in the mid-section and zip closed, but that is not the space it should go. This is a workaround at best leaving you less room for anything else you thought you were going to carry. This should NOT be a recommended product by HP web store for this laptop. If you are going to suggest a bag for a specific laptop it had better fit in the space that is designed to carry the laptop safely. This laptop is so big I would be hard pressed to find anything to fit it from any manufacturer, so it is better than nothing but I am not happy with the result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't be lead on... First of all, this laptop bag is awesome! It has a great build and made of good quality material(s). Second, I love how it has it's very own dedicated pouches/slots for mice, battery, laptop, headset and mini logo's detailing what area is what! Pretty neat! Third, my issue with this bag...in its description it says it is the HP 17.3 OMEN gaming backpack. Well I purchased the 17.3 HP OMEN X 17 along with this backpack. And the laptop doesn't fit into designated laptop slot whatsoever. It does fit within the front area, but you'll be giving up you mice, headset and battery pouches for it to fit inside. You will have to use the most outer space(s) of your backpack to place those said items unfortunately. I really wish my HP OMEN X 17 laptop would fit in my HP OMEN gaming backpack...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zippers broke within weeks. I brought this laptop bag as part of a laptop combo package for my son's college gift. The main zippers broke within weeks and the bag is completely useless. Contacted customer service and of course the bag has only has a thirty day warranty, so know help provided. It is so frustrating when companies do not stand by there products, especially when they know many customers are having the same problem. Do not buy. This will definitely make me rethink any future HP purchases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THE BAG I got the bag absolutely love it fits a single 3 inch binder snug along with a laptop and 2 1-subject note books you can also put a sweatshirt on top of the binder snugly... only complaint is the front latch doesn't come down far enough to actually clasp it sits more on the collar bone than the the chest area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not 17.3 bought this with my 17.3 omen x laptop, it doesnt fit into designed slot whatsoever, i dont know why it says 17.3 gaming backpack, and btw this come right after i ordered my laptop(hp suggestion) and i thought this would be great for my new laptop and it seems like 85 $ of waste now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Omen logo gets erased in two weeks... This seemed to be a great bag at first sight, yet Omen logo does not last very long. Otherwise it is a decent bag. And this is not really water resistant to rain, so be careful.
