One of the best units I've owned
Great notebook for work and home. Solid design, fast, and has run everything I've loaded onto it from large spreadsheets, video editing, to games.

Great Purchase
I bought this laptop 1 month ago, and have been extremely satisfied with it.
It has handled all the CAD and game requirements I have throw at it very well.
The build quality is great, the screen isn't amazing, but that isn't a big deal to me.

Great All Around Computer
This is a great computer that can handle just about any task that's thrown at it. It's very stable is a joy to work on. HP really outdid themselves on this one. It has just about all of most modern features you can get on a laptop and looks great. Since I bought it, I've upgraded to 32GB of RAM, added a second 512GB NVMe SSD and picked up an external 4K monitor. It's pretty expensive, but should last for many years.
There is only one drawback so far and that's compatibility with a 4K monitor via Thunderbolt 3. Can't get this feature to work properly. Otherwise, everything works without issue.

Beastly laptop power
This is a very nice laptop. The build quality is fantastic. It feels extremely solid. Occasionally the screen seems a tad large/heavy for the hinge and would cause the screen angle to move on it's own. In normal desktop use I never had it happen, but for lap or field use it was more likely. The quality of the screen itself is beautiful. I typically use a 13" laptop so the additional screen size was awesome. The dedicated graphics card worked well, but I don't have a graphics intensive workload that I tested it against. I did play PUBG on it to see how it compared to a laptop without a dedicated graphics card. I don't have much gaming experience, but PUBG was playable and looked good to my eyes. The largest downside of the laptop for me personally was the weight. I travel with a laptop often and I tend not to need the amount of horsepower this laptop offers so I personally prefer something a bit lighter, however if you need the graphics performance in a solid, well built, machine and can trade off the weight this is a great computer.

Doesn't run ubuntu 16.04
The one reason I purchased this laptop was to run Linux Ubuntu for robotics development. This laptop does not easily reformat to Linux. Still have not found a solution.

Heavy weight not easy to carry
Not sure why this laptop manufactured with lot of metal(Edges are so sharp like a knife) Very bad design. I did not like this even display also
is not good it's reflective and to open lip we need to use both hands. I had a Dell laptop it was light weight and easy to use. Only thing i liked face id.it's simple and fast.
