Boasting an FHD display with Dragontrail™ Pro glass, it can withstand anything that little kids can do to it. It is powered by the Mediatek MT8183 processor that is optimized for use in tablets, and is powerful enough for recording video, running augmented reality applications, and walking through presentations. Problem-solving games, assessments and hands-on learning apps are accessed through its easy-to-use Chrome OS.

For the activities I use this for its performance has been good; I have no complaints. I find the screen quality is nice. The only drawback are the speakers. They are very weak. If I really want to hear I must connect bluetooth headsets or speakers.

I already had the Duet but when the 10e went on sale, I picked it up just to have for casual surfing and shopping. The size is really comfortable to view and hold, it will probably be my travel tablet too to watch movies on the plane and have a bigger device than my phone to use on vacation. The matte coating makes the tablet easy to hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad for $99 Good tablet for $99. It's got a snappy processor and 4gb RAM (which for a tablet is good). While it does run Android apps, this isn't an Android tablet. It is a Chromebook at heart. It isn't perfect but if you compare it to other $99 tablets this one will come out on top. I use Xbox Gamepass XCloud game streaming with almost no issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blank Screen Issue, no phone tech suppro Worked great first couple days, then just a blank screen. Fully charged, and power button showing blue. Tried hard press power button to restart, but no response. Same blank screen with power showing on Called Lenovo for suppport. No one available to take call due to Covid was the message I got. Waited a couple days, tried hard restart again just to see. After holding down power button for what seemed like an hour, tablet finally rebooted. After a week now, all good so far. Fingers crossed.

For me it seems a little difficult to remember how to move around but once I figure it out it becomes pretty simple to use. The batterey seems to hold a charge for as long as I need it to. My real test will be next week when using it on a conference call with my Dr.

We pretty much have standardized on a Google ecosystem with Android phones and Nest Homes throughout our house. Best review I can give is that we like the 10e so much I bought three more for the rest of the family - with keyboards. My daughters are using them in college with the folio keyboards. Can beat the functionality at this price point. Would recommend as a purchase - thanks Lenovo.

Crisp display and so far no buffering problems. Speakers are not great, but a small Bluetooth speaker fixes that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around tablet based Chromebook I've used and reviewed many Chromebooks and tablets, but this was a first that combined the best of both worlds into one. Overall it's really a very good experience that's enjoyable for most applications, I just wish it was a little bit faster for multitasking. The cool: This tablet has the outstanding battery life, a changeable interface (more on that later) and compatibility of not only Chrome OS, but also Android and Linux apps. The interface converts from a tablet type "touch oriented" interface to one that's more mouse friendly when a keyboard is attached. This can be in the form of the keyboard case or an external bluetooth keyboard. The not so cool: The speed, lack of storage and lack of case options. Speed wise, its great for light browsing the internet, maybe playing some music in the background via spotify and general media consumption, more than that is pushing it. Trying to write a review while watching Youtube or having it running in the background while having additional tabs open to research info on reviews really kills this thing and at some points it can be unresponsive if I have to switch to email while I'm doing all of that. Storage is limited to 32Gb with no room for expansion other than an external usb drive. Overall it's a decent tab for a student (which is really what it's marketed towards) and for that I give it an A rating.

I am pleased with its quality and portability. Can stay powered on for ~ 6 to 8 hours. Tied to Google Chrome OS, of course. There are limitations with Google Chrome as a product {e.g., Gmail}, however, that is not the fault of Lenovo.

We were letting him use our laptops to complete his assignments and watch informational videos, but he can be a little rough on devices. It is built strong and has a nice weight to it. Only downside is the onscreen keyboard can be finicky. I like it enough that I may buy another for myself so I don't have to carry my laptop everywhere.

Most of my work is done through the internet and local applications are not usually needed. MS Office is available online if needed, although I use Google apps mostly. I remote into my laptop at home if I do need something from there. So far it has been a good choice.

Also weirdly the on screen keyboard is impossible to use on the web browser, it keeps losing focus, dropping off the screen, and then reappearing & makes it extremely difficult to type in Chrome. I ended up buying a second one for myself to kick around on, on lazy days off. I love it too. The sound is good, the screen is nice and has access to the play store, so all the apps you want are there. For the price it is a mn amazing value.

I wasn't shopping for a new piece of tech, however while glancing at a news timeline I saw a headline about it's availability on a trusted website for under a hundred dollars . A deal too good to pass up, I hit the link, ordering was easy. 4 days later it arrived. Set was easy and it linked to my phone and makes certain things so much easier to do on its large screen as opposed to that of my phone. It is a great size , feels solid in your hand and seems like it's capable of anything I through at it. I think that this is my favorite purchase I have made in quite sometime.

My only issue is sometimes the Chrome browser freezes up and I need to close Chrome and start over. As far as people's complaints about the volume level being too low, I just installed the Chrome extension "Ultimate Volume Booster" and it's a non-issue. Also wrapped the tablet in a "silicone shock protective cover" for a more comfortable and secure hold. Also prevents you from accidentally turning the unit off. You can find these for about $15 on eBay.

Additionally different areas of the touch screen seem to have different levels of response. The corners of the screen are particularly unresponsive. Was easy to set up and is a nice form factor.

Best tech I've bought in a while at the price. 8 core Mediatek 8183 chip with 4 gigs of ram run surprisingly great with Chrome OS and easily beats any Celeron or Pentium Chromebook in daily performance and has VERY long battery life. The screen is bright and detailed and the build is sturdy. The speakers could be a little louder and an SD card slot would've been nice but still a great overall product.

The screen is amazing and very bright. The audio can be a bit muddled though so you might want to consider headphones or earbuds. The battery lasts all day.

It does not do well with video conferencing; there is a lot of lagging, and the volume is very low. I keep mine in my kitchen while I'm cooking. I have to connect it to a speaker in order to hear anything. I think I would be really disappointed if I had paid full price for it. I also purchased the keyboard, I am still waiting on it.

Zero Bloatware (it is a Chromebook thing) 4. USB-C to HDMI out and you can use this as a desktop with a USB-C to HUB (with HDMI out) 5. Most secure OS (besides Linux) 6. You can install Linux and have a Terminal 7. Access to Linux apps 8. YES it comes with the Android play store and can play most apps. So what is it lacking.... 32 GB of storage is small but doable. The screen is NICE but the speakers kind of suck. I highly recommend over the fire HD 10+, P11 or Tab A.

The only thing I can complain about is the fact that sometime upon the device waking from sleep it takes a while for the tablet to reconnect and be responsive to touch navigation. But this last less then 15 seconds, as once connected navigation returns to it's normal speedy operations.

One thing I really don't like, and I did not see it when looking at purchasing it, is it has no USB port other than the charging port USB-C port. This also has limited storage of 32 GB advertised but when you look in the specs on the tablet in reality you only have 18 GB! To run 2 apps simultaneously can be a very slow process. Granted this only a Chromebook but I expected a little bit more after speaking with their rep for what my needs were and he said it would do fine. Don't take this the wrong way because it does do some of the functions I do very well. However I am just a little disappointed in the overall use of it. The price was certainly worth the unit but not quite what I needed.

It has a bright and crisp 1080p display with decent stereo speakers for movie/TV watching. It also offers great battery life (~11 hours) and Chrome OS is really easy to navigate.

The ChromeOS system allows me to stream videos without stutter, and then Android lets me use apps I need. On top of all of that the battery life is incredible. I can watch four hours of streamed video at full brightness and still have power left. My biggest complaint is it needs the brightness to go higher.

Very happy with the quality. The processor is a bit under powered but only noticeable when switching to Android app mode. This may be a chrome OS issue. Overall, very happy with the purchase but I wouldn't have been at full retail price.

My intended use requires the keyboard so I'm in a bind deciding to keep it or send it back. I'm not the only one having this issue which may be because of known problems with the keyboard. A tad slow with some graphic-heavy operations such as streaming or games at times. The biggest "issue" I've had is with some common apps not being supported such as "Outlook" - but you can also use the web interface instead, so not a huge problem with this specific use-case. It's also not straight-forward on identifying and close apps running in the background. There is no SD card slot (disappointing) but a USB-C thumb stick will supply all the added storage you may want or need. I purchased a bluetooth keyboard and this gives the reasonable notepad/laptop sub for taking quick notes (wouldn't want to bang out a big doc with that BT keyboard) or sending messages/posts/comments.

Unfortunately Lenovo misled the stock quantities of the keyboard that gets sold with this to make it fully functional and it's three weeks since this arrived and still the keyboard is not here. I did get an email this morning saying it would be here tomorrow but tracking shows that it's still in Hong Kong now with a delayed status of unknown. So Lenovo have had my money for this order but have not fulfilled it and I can't fulfill it's potential. If you want a tablet-only type device, save your money and get something cheap and cheerful like a Fire Tablet. If you want a portable Chromebook, buy one that comes with the keyboard so you're not wasting your time and money with Lenovo

Which would be fine if (A) the last update they put out has no bugs. For example on mine, I have to eject and reinsert the micro SD card every time I go to use the device. and (B) they soldered in the OS, meaning that once they stop putting out the updates, INCLUDING VIRUS VULNERABILITY UPDATES, you can nut install another OS such as Linux, Android, Or Windows. Chrome OS is not good for you or the planet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo 10e Chromebook This is my fourth Chromebook device and first Chromebook tablet. I was surprised by this device. It is easy to hold and convenient to use. I am extremely satisfied at it's functionality. The screen is bright, no lag and responds well to the touch. It is faster than my Apple Air tablet. The sound is not very loud, but loud enough to hear over normal room noise. I chose the Lenovo keyboard/case and am happy I did. I usually go with (cheaper) third-party keyboards but this keyboard fits perfectly and is a joy to type on. After a few minutes of typing, I knew the few bucks more for the Lenovo keyboard has been more than worth it. NOTE- this new tablet allows for automatic connection to your cellphone for Internet access should you drop, or don't have WiFi service. I was on a concall and lost WiFi and, without manual intervention, the tablet connected to my cell and the call went on without further issues. Once the WiFi became available again, the tablet dropped my cell and reconnected to the WiFi. How cool is that?!! So far I have no issues with tablet and can recommend it to anyone looking for a super convenient and functional Chromebook tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of problems with this device! First, the volume is way low on this. Even at 100% you can just barely make out video sound. I bought a Chrome add-on that boosts sound and that works. And the speakers are fine at 350% of maximum sound (which is where I have it). No distortion. So why didn't they set it to be able to go that loud?? Doesn't make any sense. But I can only use the add-in with Chrome. Which means with any apps used watch videos the sound will be low. Very disappointing! Problems with the keyboard. The keyboard it comes with is very lame. The voice to text barely works. And the keyboard doesn't go away when you click outside the keyboard (you have to click the keyboard button on the keyboard to clear it). And the swipe function doesn't work. It supposedly has a swipe function (where you can swipe between letters to enter a word, instead of hitting one letter at a time). And I made sure to turn on the swipe function in the options. But it simply doesn't work. Tried installing a different keyboard -- the one from Google (which I use on my phone and it works great) and the one from Microsoft. Neither will work with this tablet. As soon as you press a letter, the keyboard goes away! So I'm stuck with the built-in keyboard. I bought this to watch videos in bed, and it does play videos decently, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star. As long as you use an external speaker or earbuds or watch the video in Chrome with the above-noted extension. And I was hoping to use it to go on social media as well. But with the keyboard problems, I gave up on that, and just use my phone. Oh, and the screen doesn't shut off after a period of time (though I have it set it in the options to do that). You have to press the power button to turn off the screen, otherwise the battery will run down while the tablet is idle. All in all, extremely disappointing. But I guess it plays videos, which is what I got it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Realistic Expectations I've had it almost a month now and it's been functional until yesterday. out of the blue it just powered off and wouldn't come back on. I had to hold the power and volume up button down for about 10 seconds and it came back to life and worked great all night till this morning when I opened a chrome browser and rotated from landscape to portrait. The on screen display began to circle in in a hesitant fast rotation until I closed the screen completely. I don't expect iPad performance from a 99 dollar tab, but I would expect a tablet that doesn't have a stroke after rotating once when screen lock is off. Before the last two days I was singing the tablets praises so much that I convinced a friend to buy one. Now I'm not really a fan. sad.

It syncs with my google account and my laptop, so I can pretty much go from one to the other with minimal hiccups. It is very durable a rugged as well. I have no problem letting my four-year-old use it. It is fast and has a lot of storage. I would buy this tablet again and again. I highly recommended!

Has all the capabilities we need (mostly an "internet access tool") so we can set Mom up on swing and boogie-woogie on youtube, endless reruns of 60s shows and old movies on Netflix and Prime. Good tool. For infirm hands, though, you do need a third-party cover that makes the edges easier to hold and more tactile. The Lenovo cover, sold separately, while a good cover that fits great, it is not ideal for someone with hand and tremor problems

In all of those departments it excels. I find myself going to use this tablet more than my phone when I’m at home because of the larger screen size and ease of use. The grip on the body of the tablet makes it a pleasure to handle as well versus so many tablets out now that have opted to use a slick aluminum/steel material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay for casual user or child. Works okay for casual browsing. I have an "opened-up" Fire tablet that is much faster and runs more apps. Enabling the Linux virtual machine in the 10e requires 7.5 GB which eats up 25% of the storage. Run it in developer mode, install Fdroid and Amazon Apps, and then install some of their apps to make the 10e more useful. Using the 10e with a Lenovo hub, I am able to mount a 64 GB thumb drive and HDMI monitor for second screen. However, have not been able to get aspect ratio of the HDMI monitor adjusted properly. Have been trying to use a RTL-SDR version 3 device to monitor aircraft telemetry. It will not work when plugged into the Lenovo USB hub. Have ordered an OTG cable and will plug directly into the USB C port on the 10e. Perhaps it may then work, but power draw from the RTL-SDR dongle will quickly drain the 10e battery and will not have the advantages of the USB hub with 65 watt charger. If you need tech support, get an interpreter before you call.

Can get basic work done and great for entertainment (Youtube, Spotify). Since it's browser is full chrome it has great web page compatibility. Great battery life, well built, feels more expensive. Although not the fastest it works good, unbeatable value. Can do casual gaming, but not a gaming tablet. Speaker is the weakest point, but if I need better sound just use a bluetooth speaker, even has a headphone jack. Plan on using it in the car for music and GPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4.75 Stars I was worried on the build quality as the seams are not as tight along the bezels as I would like (particularly nearest USB-C port where the light from LED is visible through the seam) but device has stood up to a few drops without scratches or malfunctions. I have 2 other Chromebooks and the main point is to remember this is a CHROMEBOOK although in usage it feels much more like an Android tablet since apps are so accessible. I wish the navigation gestures could be customized since they CLOSELY resemble Android's gestured but aren't quite (for example, backspacing on keyboard or swiping left from delete key as on Google keyboard do not work) but that can always be enhanced via updates. Any complaints I have are more than made up for by the $99 price point.

Starting about 4 days from receipt I started trying to call support and now almost a month and more than 3.5 hours on the phone on hold and being dropped. I give up. Their "support" strategy was successful. Wish that I could just un-do the purchase but it's not much money and I can't afford anymore hours on hold for no response. I still think it's a good company with mostly good products but based on my experience - what you get is .. it. Don't count on any support after delivery.

It is a tablet but works just like a computer. It runs all major Google play store apps as well as native chrome apps. Using this with the compatible folio keyboard case makes life a lot more easier. It is good for day to day browsing and other watching videos etc but cannot be used as a gaming tablet. Consider buying if you are looking for a no frills daily driver. If you expect anything more than steer clear.

For everyone else it's severely lacking in power and features. Everything on this device is slow. The speakers are terrible. If all you want is web browsing and maybe an e-reader this is fine. For even the most basic of tasks beyond that, buy something else. Also, I attempted to return this product 3 times through Lenovo customer service and every time was told I'd receive an email with shipping information only to never get that email. It's probably a 2 or 3 star product wrapped in with 1 star customer service

Moving from one app to the other, to the desktop, etc. It needs a better processor and memory. And it doesn't have a way to increase storage. I prefer my Kindle Fire 10 HD. Also, there isn't any choice/variety for a protective cover. The only benefit is that it is connected to the Google Play Store and not the Amazon App store which is very limited.

It has a better display, processor, long-term capabilities, then any Android tablet (or phone for that matter that we've recently tested. The single largest shortcoming of the 10e is its lack of a micro SD card for additional storage. We've already seen where this is problematic. Regardless, if you're considering a new Android tablet, give the 10e Chromebook some decent consideration being that it runs Android apps.

For the current price of $99 this is a great deal if you're looking for a tablet for simple web surfing, video watching, email reading and even a little Google doc creation and game playing. It's a little sluggish once you get a few things going at once, but stay within reasonable expectations and you'll be very happy. Now the bad. Lenovo support is not great. When I ordered it, it said ships in 10-12 business days. 30 business days later, no ETA or explanation. The website continued to show ship times as low as 7 business days during that time. Also, as others have said on here, when I got the tablet, neither camera was working. As per others and the Lenovo responses on here, Lenovo provided no answers. Lenovo - I'm going to help you out here! From my own research, it turns out that it's a software issue. ChromeOS 98 or so caused the cameras on this model to stop working. ChromeOS 100 fixes this issue - however, as of now, it's not officially released. You can however, get it early by switching your 10e to the Beta OS channel (look online for how to do that and risks associated with doing that). I did that and camera are now fully functioning. You're welcome Lenovo! - and thanks for the great tablet, though not the great support.

If I have a complaint it is not with the 10e it is with Chrome OS in tablet mode. In tablet mode Chrome OS is difficult to navigate. If I but a keyboard I lose the portability of the table.

Wifi range is not as good - this unit stumbles on loading in locations where other devices (iPad, laptops, smartphones are fine 2. Rear camera does not zoom at all These next three make the tablet either vulnerable or a huge nuisance to keep entering the password/PIN each time the device is locked. 3. Lock screen PIN entry does not work on the on-screen keyboard. Have to dismiss the on-screen keyboard to get the pin pad to show up 4. Pattern unlock is not supported on the ChromeOS. 5. The default setting is for the pin/password lock turned off - so your tablet stays open with all emails etc logged in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Chromebook Tablet To be honest, I only bought this unit b/c I wanted a screen that was much bigger than my phone that I could carry around the house, easily hold in a chair to read news/blogs/etc. sites (no gaming or anything demanding) , but with no ads. Between the offered discount and the points I get through my employee perks, this was irresistible. I was pleasantly surprised to find a solidly-made, thin, light and very fast device with a very sharp screen (all IMHO) that I am very happy with after a couple of days' use.

I'm a retired engineer and very familiar with Chrome OS having used it for many years in laptop form. I bought this tablet mostly for playing media, reading ebooks, doing email and browsing, partly to evaluate it for suitability for my grandchildren. I did some testing that a normal user wouldn't, to see what their parents might experience and trying to support it This tablet does everything that my mid-range Acer Chromebook R11 convertible laptop does, just differently and in some cases better. The Lenovo 10e Chromebook tablet has a better than average display and a quieter than average speaker output. The unit is well built and I believe it will take casual abuse. I bought the protective cover to make it easier for me to handle and the folio keyboard to use when I travel. With the 10e and accessories currently on sale, they are a good value. The speaker audio is usable by one person with undamaged hearing In a moderately quiet area without using headphones. That may be ideal for the original intended user - a child in pre-K through second grade. This tablet won’t disturb other people in the same room who are using other devices. As an older adult I found it necessary to use a Chrome accessibility extension to amplify the mid-range to use Netflix or YouTube . The protective cover adds an extra layer of protection to everything except the screen. I suggest installing a plastic screen protector to keep the glass of the screen inside the case if it should be broken. The folio keyboard does not convert the tablet into a laptop PC. It works properly only when supported by a hard flat surface and the tablet carefully and firmly seated. It is not usable as a laptop. If the soft support at the back bottom of the case sags at all, the pogo pins of the keyboard lose contact and the keyboard works erratically. In tablet mode the Shelf is a floating bar, the Launcher app drawer is open, and the Chrome browser acts like the Android version. When the keyboard or a mouse is connected, the tablet changes to mixed desktop mode, the Shelf is fixed and the Chrome browser is the desktop version. When the setup does an automatic installation, the Play Store is installed and the versions of Google Docs and YouTube installed by the “factory image” are the Android versions. If you have a Google Chromebook desktop user profile, if you sign in with your normal account you will have two nearly identical icons for the desktop and Android versions. An Android user will probably prefer the Android versions. I recommend that a parent create a “owner” profile and add another profile for each child. If you do a Powerwash on the 10e, the Launcher groups you created will be lost, but your data and preferences are preserved. Android apps will be reinstalled from the Play Store and Google One will restore the rest from Drive. Benefits to Chromebooks A computer that “just works” for basic things you need to do. A short learning curve A Chromebook tablet does not work like a Windows, Apple or Android tablet or phone. :-D I‘ve used all of the alternatives. Some are more powerful, some are easier to use, none are more secure or easier to support for the average person. Unless you choose to be a computer tech, “Chrome updates'' are automatic, every 4-6 weeks. Updates replace the entire operating system and download in the background. There aren’t multiple individual patches for you to worry about. You can work during an update while one downloads to an alternative part of the storage. Nothing changes until you restart the device. From the user’s perspective an update takes 1 minute to restart and sign in. Antivirus software isn't needed to protect the operating system( and can’t be installed. Cautions about Chromebooks: If the following is a problem for you - please don’t buy a Chromebook. You will have a learning curve to master using Chrome and tablet mode 4-6 hours. Unless you forgo the basic security and stability of Chrome OS, only some Android apps can be installed, and only from the Google Play Store, Windows apps cannot be installed on the 10e A Chromebook tablet does not work like a Windows, Apple or Android tablet or phone. There are some similarities, but many differences in the UI, and you can only make small tweaks. :-C If you have a problem there are fewer people who understand ChromeOS available to “fix” it for you.

Boy was i disappointed. It was only $100 and I still couldn’t justify keeping it. I knew it wasn’t an iPad, but it was malfunctioning within 24 hours. The ruggedized exterior partially popped off when I set it on the table, the screen was slow and didn’t respond, and at one point the screen turned black (but still lit/was on) until the battery ended up dying. Would give 0 if I could.

I've been getting a reoccuring error message about needing to restart so that I can get a critical update for the keyboard. I kept getting this message so I googled it and it says it seems to happen when the keyboard is not properly attached. So I don't have to keep restarting the computer, just need to adjust the keyboard position. Also sometimes the screen freezes and I am unable to click or move when I use the touchscreen. And when I use the google voice app, maybe this is a problem with the google voice app, but it rotates the screen sideways so that it's on portrait view instead of landscape and then it's stuck that way so I either have to tilt my head to the side or restart the computer.

For such a low price, I doubt there is any better choice. I have been able to take notes effortlessly, stream movies and videos on Youtube, Amazon, and Netflix in full HD. I also browse and chat in Facebook. Now, I often forget to charge my phone and the last time I opened my laptop was when I needed to run some codes. I could not ask for a better budget friendly tab. Although not advertised in the specs, it works well with the Lenovo USI pen making it great for sketching, note taking, or marking up PDFs. The screen is bright, crisp, and clear The processor is zippy enough to do justice to some full-screen android racing games. Unlike the Duet, it thankfully has a regular phone jack. I also got the keyboard/cover case which works well provided you are using it on a stable surface. Note: it does not have a touchpad, you need to use the touchscreen or add a mouse. The magnet/pogo-pin connections are fine for stable surfaces but may disconnect if typing with it on your lap. The tablet and keyboard combo are fast becoming my go-to chromebook setup when on the go.

One of our grandsons is participating in bowling tournaments with his high school team. The tournaments are streamed on YouTube Live. I take the tablet to the great room, connect the USB-C port via an HDMI adapter and watch it on the big screen just fine. It does everything I need for casual web browsing. The long battery life is great.

The Camera, both of them, are bad, like from 2012 cellphone. Speakers are horrible, barely audible. But I guess for a little over $100, you cant expect more. I just use it to watch movies while travelling.

If you're looking for secure tablet and don't expect to do too much other than web work, this is very good. Downsides/Concerns: - No kindle - Concerns about the 10W power adapter; got a message it couldn't recharge while in use - ChromeOS says it 32 bit; COG extension says the underlying Linux OS is 64 bit; this is a minor concern, but its there. Side Note: The Folio/Keyboard purchased with this did not work. The tablet recognized the folio, and turns on the tablet when you open the folio, but the keys do not work. Tried to get Lenovo tech assistance, but they didn't want to bother. In the process of returning the Folio/Keyboard, will see how that goes.

Chrome updates to 2028 ensure the tablet will be usable for a long time and the mediatek processor is plenty fast for casual browsing or watching movies. Screen is better than most laptops as 5-6x cost. I did wish it had a SD card slot to add storage but for the price no complaints. This was purchased for an elderly family member who is having issues seeing things on her 6" phone screen.

ChromeOS is sometimes a little buggy, but ok. Fast enough. Good screen with no dead pixels. WiFi 5GHz could be better. Cannot use USB cable to transfer files. Good battery life. Very good value for less than $100.

While I have no complaints about the Chromebook itself, the keyboard did not connect. Lenovo is sending a new one, but it likely won't arrive for Christmas. It was purchased as a gift. Purchase the keyboard at your own risk. After mine didn't connect, I read the reviews and they mostly had the same issue that I had. I've always wanted to try Lenovo products, but having the keyboard not work lowered that expectation. Lenovo, move to bluetooth for the keyboards because clearly the manual connection isn't working as you envisioned, please see all reviews. Also, your website is very sketchy. It times out every few minutes. It isn't what I expected from IBM.

Chrome runs its browser, native chrome apps, android apps from the google play store, and the majority of linux apps Since this is a google education directed product, it is expected to get system/security updates through 2028. So you'll actually get to use this as long as you want, not until someone stops updating it. Performance is very good, especially if you give it a minute or two after it boots. I set up my pixel phone to unlock it if I'm within range of the phone. So I don't have to log in every time, as long as the phone is nearby. You can use this with a compatible USI pen to write on, and pair it with a bluetooth keyboard to make it a full chromebook. I wouldn't take reviews that say its "chunky" or "too thick". It's literally almost identical in thickness/weight to most of the tablets that I've owned. In this case, so much was made of its alleged size that I thought I'd had the wrong one shipped to me when I opened it. The USB-C slot will use a usb-c micro flash drive. I have one and stuck it in. I left the app storage on the internal 32GB, with media going to the removable storage. This way I can add 256GB of media storage to watch movies and whatnot, for times when its not on the charger. Negates most concerns about "only" 32GB of storage. I've had chrome devices with 8 and 16GB storage and never ran out. The only things I used that were commonly over 32GB were movie files or lots and lots of photos or music. If cloud storage is unavailable, a 'travel router' that accepts a flash drive or the little usb-c flash drives resolve that. Made for the classroom, so should be fairly rugged in everyday adult use. GREAT chromebook option for a kid. Pretty darn good for this grownup former teacher who used chromebooks in the classroom.

I have owned numerous Lenovo products from the ThinkPad Series, the Chromebook Duet(Original) and the Yoga Book (with the flat keyboard/ink reader display) line and have never experienced such a lack of quality control in their products. I have received 4 different 10e Chromebook units and they all display Chrome OS Low-Power Charger. The included power supply right out of the box appears to be inefficient. However, none of the alternate power supplies that I have used including the power supply for my Chromebook Duet resolved the problem. Yes I have worked with technical support and they have concluded that the units are bad. How can I have 4 different units and they have all failed. I understand now, why these are so heavily discounted. They apparently have had a manufacturing gaffe and are trying to move as many units as possible. The concept of this unit is great and if I could get a working unit, I am certain that it would meet my needs for many years to come.

Supplied power supply of 10 watts is insufficient to charge while in use which is the reason for four stars only. At it's sale price of Thanksgiving, it is a a no-brainer purchase for its features and specs. I would not purchase at full price as the duet is a better value for the money.

This tablet is a great investment for entry level daily use like: browsing the web, social media, watching series and movies and/or reading an ebook. If that’s what you looking for then look no more. However, if you’re looking for something more serious like gaming and or daily work maybe you should consider the duet. Happy with my purchase so far!

This has less functionality than the 2017 model that I am currently using. I would return it but, the return window passed before I had received the keyboard case or had a chance to use it in the classroom. Also shipping took forever to get all the pieces of the bundle.

This (Chrome is and internet OS, it needs a good connection, I have 40Mbps cable internet and everything is snappy. The screen is good size compared to the iPad mini I replaced, very bright and touch controls are very responsive. No back button one buyer complained, well learn the OS dummy, its a swipe from the left side, easy peasy. Speakers are underpowered, true, but for $99 I can use ear buds or BT speaker. Chrome OS updates are supported until 2028, that is important. It was downlevel a few updates out of the box so you will need to restart a couple times before it settles in and gives great speed - that is a function of the OS, not a knock on Lenovo or the hardware. The USB slot is multi function, I used a HDMI adapter to view on TV, OS also supports Chromecast to a smart TV.

You just have to make sure you only have open what you need. If you are not sure what specs you have to have and just want to play around with one, this is the one to buy.

One can watch movies and surf the web, but it is noticeably slower than a Lenovo Duet 3 (which I also really like. The lenovo series of Chrometabs are all quite reasonable -- I would like to see a Duet "4" between the 3 and 5. The 5 has the performance and display specs I want, but is too large. I Just recently moved to ChromeOS tabs from Android because of well published (and longer) OS support for ChromeOS. The 10e has guaranteed OS support from Google until June 2028! Most (but not all) Google Play apps work just fine on the ChromeOS tablet. 5 stars for excellent value, just don't expect it to run at the speed of a more expensive model.

She is happy with the battery life, screen size and the audio. We have Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, and YouTube TV and they all work for her. The download works as well. We only paid $99 and it was worth it. Tried to order the keyboard/folio cover, but there was a delay on it so we canceled it and got another cover.

Usually, setup is a breeze. I log in and the device matches the configuration of my other devices. That didn't happen with the Lenovo. It picked up most of the apps, but none of the launcher configuration came through. In fact, it destroyed the setup on my primary device and I spent almost an hour reconfiguring. #2 Making matters worse, after I reconfigured everything on my primary device, I came back to the Lenovo and discovered it had reset itself to the factory settings. I have never had a ChromeOS device do that. I returned the product and requested another. That was a week ago. I already returned the first device. Still waiting for a confirmation that a replacement has been sent.

Even though I wasn't thinking about getting a tablet, the price was so good that I bought it for reading the news and checking emails when I woke up. The display is clear and bright, it's reasonably responsive and it's very light for lying on the couch to read. Since it's also hardened, I'll probably take it when I travel instead of my expensive Google Chromebook.

If you do buy keyboard/Folio some have reported that it does not connect right, it is just a little finicky about how it connects, but it does work well once you understand how to connect it.

My daughter had it slip off her lap onto the floor and the screen shattered. That said, it is solid construction and feels more durable than bargain machines. I'm surprised how much I have grown to like Chromebooks in the tablet format.

I never set the unit up. After calling and being told Lenovo would send a replacement unit, I returned the unit. After returning they contacted me and told me that unit was no longer available. Ended up getting a refund. I believe the unit would have been just what I wanted if it would have charged correctly. Very disappointed.

My next problem is the CPU and ram are not enough in modern Chrome. It chokes alot. just seems to not have enough power to run youtube in the background while i read a web page. It was just not worth it even at 99 dollars. Now if all you need is email and webbrowsing it might work for you but otherwise no thank you.

Had the tablet for a few weeks, the battery is good, the screen is great and the volume is average. Purchased a cover for it and use it to surf the web and play games, and happy with the performance. Battery lasts a decent time, but will take some time to charge, and there's no micro sd card if you are considering expanding the memory. This tablet would make a good tablet for simple everyday use.

I've owned a couple of similar tablet/computer devices in the past that suffered the same issue as this device: slow network performance. All other networked wi-fi devices in the household run 60 Mbps on a 2.4 GHz connection, but all this device can manage is 20. Where other devices show full signal strength, this device can only manage "medium" strength. It's worth noting that full strength signal is only possible within five feet of my router, which is not a requirement for my other household devices. It's clear to me Lenovo cheaped out on the radio in this device, and it's incredibly irritating that the radio in a $50 Amazon Fire tablet can smoke this thing. Additionally, Android apps on the Google Play store are hit and miss on this thing. Maybe they'll work...maybe they won't. On the plus side, build quality is great, the screen is beautiful, and the product was shipped lightning fast. None of that matters if you're infuriated over slow load times and poor app performance. I should have gone with a pure Android tablet, probably, instead of a gelded Chromebook. I really was hoping for better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functions fine, when it functions For all of the things that it does well, one of the strangest issues with this device upon boot is that its on-screen keyboard has a chance of appearing completely white and unusable (even though it can still be dragged around the screen), and there's no way to solve this other than restarting it—sometimes twice in a row if it shows it again. This happens about 4-10% of the time, so it's not too uncommon and is very aggravating, since you cannot type on it, even blindly through the white color. Another issue is what everyone else has said: the speaker is quiet even at max volume. It's generally fine otherwise but is almost certainly not worth >$100, if that.

I even got a stylus and keyboard to go with it thinking I could use it for mindless tasks…reading, browsing, etc. it constantly needs update, the Chrome OS constantly warns the the keyboard may be “stealing my key strokes” (comforting), web pages done even load despite having a strong connection, and the screen fails to rotate to landscape 90% of the time, just to name a few issues. I wouldn’t recommend this if my life depended on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Bought 500 of these for elementary students and they are still falling apart. The screen pops out and they can not sustain one drop. The case provided does not protect the screen. Do not buy!
