Android 9 was an easy update and the tablet does everything I need it to do, just not very fast. Battery life seems good. I also have a Fire tablet at about the same price but I prefer the software on this droid.

I did not see this information on the Lenovo web site. Other than that it is a good tablet, a little slow and laggy sometimes. But that should be expected at such a low cost. Going to see about returning and getting a different tablet. Still think Lenovo makes great products.

I have a smart phone, a number of tablets and PCs, but I was looking for something as versatile as smart phone with the ease of a tablet and completely portable without having to give it much thought. The Tab M7 meets those needs exactly. It goes from coffee table to pocket anytime I'm on the move. I have wanted to look up information, parts or products on the go while walking around and want a better view than a smart phone. M7 is fast enough, small enough to carry and big enough to have a great view. Battery time was the only reason it did not get 5 stars, but it easily charged fully from my power pack.

Once it is on for a while it does seem to work better, battery life is good. I added the SD card and that did help performance a little.

It's not meant for big games(can do small relaxing games just fine) but honestly I expected that when it handles everything else just fine along with the price of it. If you're looking for a tablet to play games on look somewhere, if you're looking for one for work than this tablet will do just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Budget Tablet When my el cheapo RCA tablet went kaput I went looking for a low priced replacement that might exceed its abilities. I found that in the Lenovo Tab M7. However it did not take me to the top of Everest and lacking an attached keyboard it fell short of the RCA in some respects. However this tablet, considering its price, is the best of the pack that I reviewed before purchasing. FYI I've had the tablet for 3 months prior to this review. The good. Its price. It has good memory for the price and a more than capable processor. The screen image is just fine for me, and I appreciate that it provides more screen size than my previous 7" tablet. The battery life is projected by the onboard estimator to be at least 4x the RCA's although I've yet to take it all the way down. The speaker is what you would expect for this priced tablet - mediocre but again adequate. The wifi range is at least 30 feet from my modem, and the signal is consistently strong. In public spaces (like Starbucks it connects readily. Boot time for the Android 9 Go OS is under 30 seconds to PIN entry. The OS is configured differently from the previous version 6 in the RCA and required a small learning curve. The vibration notification is appreciated by this user. The keyboard is somewhat intuitive, selecting an alphanumeric configuration for some tasks like PW entries. The unit is quite thin and lightweight. The bad. I've had issues connecting to the LAN in my house. On some apps the wifi disconnects from the LAN. Most annoying. As with cell phones I do not like where the on/off switch is placed and wish it were on the top of the unit. The ugly The rear camera took horrible images that were way out of focus over most of the field of the photo. It focused on a particular face in a group setting and left the others and some of the background out of focus. Even the $30 RCA did better. But I have a regular camera so who cares. Like most of similar beasts this bad boy loves fingerprints. You'll be cleaning it regularly. Overall I am very pleased with the Lenovo Tab M7. If you are looking for an inexpensive table that does the basics at a low, low price, look no further. It comes only with a charging cable but for the price what do you expect? For us budget shoppers this is the one.

I purchased three tablets, one for my personal use, and the other two for them to do their schoolwork, during this crisis. I am sure they will continue to use the tablets, when they return to school. I use mine to make online payments, keep my medical records up to date, and bank statements. This size is perfect for my needs, and does not take up a lot of room. Thank you Lenovo.

Root is required to allow the Tasker or Automateit app to power the tablet on and off with the car ignition. So far I have had no success in finding a root solution that works. If somebody knows how to make it work please speak up.

Having a T410 that works flawlessly after at least 7 years of service, I looked to Lenovo for a tablet small enough to use in the tight space of an airplane cockpit. The M7 was perfect size without all the noise of the advertising, junky apps and restricted access to useful apps. The price was excellent also. It came loaded with the latest Android o/s. Thanks Lenovo.

It has performed well in both regards. I have been impressed by the overall performance of the device. This new version of the android system "go" seems to work well. One of the kids games caused it to be a little glitchy when trying to close it out, but other than that we haven't run into an issue.

My battery power was running low and it let me know so I could charge it. It was almost like having a person in the room with me telling me to charge it. I haven't had much time to use it (my days have been averaging 17 hours long, but I look forward to using it more often when I have the time to do so. I also wanted to tell you that I have a Lenovo ideapad 330 and I have had it a little over a year. I paid $300 for it and it has all kinds of features. I was going to replace it with a laptop I saw in the Microsoft store (it was on sale for $1,000), but I realized that was foolish. Since then I have taken more time to get familiarized with my Lenovo ideapad and it is a real bargain with a lot of features. Thank you so much. I will continue to buy Lenovo products in the future when the need arises.

The good: A sweet, pure Android experience; good performance with Android Go; nice, compact form factor; solid build quality. The not-so-good: can get a bit laggy occasionally; screen is too small and low resolution for video. The verdict: Wonderful for reading, light web browsing, email and document editing. Not so good for video consumption, gaming. etc.

Although it is a little bit slow to start up apps because of its configuration, it is managable for reading purpose. I just did not know why they don't have a better hardware configuration for small size tablet. For reading, any tablet with size more than 8" is troublesome to hold in hand for long time reading. anyway, I recomend this for people who wants to read...better than Kindle 7", I think. I offer 4 stars because of the slow start up. Hopefully Lenovo will produce a small size tablet with better configuration.

To achieve the ability to perform in a smaller footprint, Google products are the smaller "Go" versions. Google Home Go or Google Assistant Go have limitations. If you want to use this tablet to control home controls like lights and thermostats you will be out of luck. This should be better disclosed by Lenvono. Since that was the main reason I bought it, I had to return the product.

The resolution is great; you can watch movies easily and the battery life is surprisingly long-lived. The sound quality is above average for a tablet in this size class; I had no problems easily discerning voice and music from it. It's pretty quick at booting up cold compared to other tablets on the market. It's really a pretty nice piece of equipment. The build quality is extremely good.

We installed YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify, and Pandora and they stream beautifully to our TVs. The buying factors were 1) price 2) Android and 3) size. This was the perfect combination. Battery life has been surprisingly amazing. We rarely charge it, although it is only 45 days old. The cons are performance. The OS hiccups once in a while and doesn't have iPad-quality smooth performance. But at this price point, who cares?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but essential Having become attached to my Tab 8, I was distraught when I could no longer turn it on during these stay-at-home times. I ordered from Lenovo a Tab 7 replacement. The smaller size does matter, but I was please to find a charger and cord in the box and amazed that it came within a couple of days. Then I was overjoyed to see so much of the content from the old tablet on the new one. Alas, the downloads weren't there. Besides the size, I m still getting used to the different ways of moving around in the system. There are windows! Ok. Why the 4 rating? I'm pretty sure there were apps on here I didn't ask for. The storage was filling up and I had to uninstall several things, which is always touchy when you don't know what they are! But all in all, I am very pleased to have my little friend back. Since I use it all day for games, browsing, mail and photos, 8 or 10 inch would probably be better. My cable TV app lets me watch on this too. As soon as I get something on the back to let me hold it easier, it'll become an extension of my left hand again.

This tablet has android pie go OS it is a lighter version of android meant for lower end devices such as phones and tablets. My grand kids love this tablet it plays YouTube kids videos and games just fine no buffering. I also have a WiFi mesh system in my house I probably don't need because my house is 1500 sq ft with a full basement but I am kind of a nerd. It is a bit slow when you first start using it because of the updates. I really like this tablet because it saves my good tablets. Lenovo did a great job with this tablet because it is rugged and inexpensive so know what you are buying it is not a high end tablet and a lot of other low end tablets in this price range have android Kit Kat witch is a old version of android and lots of apps are not compatible with Kit Kat. I ended up purchasing 4 of thees tablets one for my 5 year old grandson one for my house and one for my older brother and sister.

What it is, however, is excellent for professionals who need to read/annotate a lot of documents on a regular basis. It's great for reading ebooks and PDFs, for marking/adjusting office documents, for taking notes in onenote, things like that. It's even pretty decent as a dedicated screen for conference calls. I've purchased these for my whole team, and the feedback is excellent. This device is all business. Just toss in a microSD loaded with books and get busy!

The cameras are a little fuzzy, but I didn't buy it for the cameras. I bought it to stream when I have downtime at work. It's a little slow, so if that is an issue for you, you might want to stick to watching videos on your smartphone, especially if you have unlimited data/WiFi and a portable charger.

Unfortunately, is not so good for drawing which is what I needed it for so I can practice writing chinese characters.
