I was worried on how to store it, because I did not want anything pushing against the buttons as I store it. It ended up not being a problem. I have only been using it for 3 weeks, though I have very happy. No complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from poor connectivity after two years i have had this product for about two years and it has stopped working properly. At least five times a day it will randomly disconnect. I have to get rid of the mouse and buy a new one now. Hours of troubleshooting has led me writing this review. I would not recommend this mouse for this reason alone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Cool! This mouse is simple and useful! It saves me a usb spot because it connects directly to my Yoga's bluetooth instead of needing a receiver connected to the laptop. The materials are also really good, it feels solid and smooth to the touch.

Unforunately it no longer works after 2 months. $40 is alot for a mouse and I understand its bluetooth, however the company should replace the mouse conviently seeming how important the use is for most of us who need it to work on a daily basis.

Only drawback is that the Teflon feet eventually wear down to the point that I have to replace it. Highly recommended! p.s. Be sure to get the 1200 dpi version.

This compact mouse makes browsing easy, and it packs away in bag pockets easily. The battery drain is slow and I have not had to change the two AAAs in over two months of steady use.

Then after about 2-3 months, the mouse doesn't function well anymore. The clicks are not responsive and there is lag. Tried on other computers, still the same problem. Absolute garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mouse - Works As Expected Bought 2 of these mice for use with a T440s and a T440p. Immediately had the problem with intermittent bluetooth connection. I'm new to Windows 8 so it took me a little effort to track down the laptop bluetooth settings (Realtek Bluetooth 4.0 on T440p) under the Device Manager. Under Power Management, disable the power saving feature that turns off bluetooth. After taking care of the bluetooth issue, the mouse has been flawless. Comfortable, portable size. Good pointer control. Just what I would expect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bluetooth mouse overall! I've had this mouse for a little over a week and I'm loving it so far! It's a little smaller than others I've used in the past, but that actually makes it easier to maneuver for me. Plus it works on pretty much any surface, including cloth, so it's easy to use no matter where I'm working. You have to turn it on and off (it runs on battery but I believe it goes into sleep mode if it isn't used for a period of time to preserve the battery, and it connects immediately when I turn it on. I haven't really found an opportunity to use this feature yet, but apparently the wheel works both vertically and horizontally, which could come in handy when using excel or similar programs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Mouse Works well and connects somewhat easily. For some reason with Windows 10, Bluetooth control defaults to power saving mode when PC is running on battery power. Meaning the connection shuts offintermittently and mouse connection is lost. Somewhat frustrating as it can't be resolved by toggling the Bluetooth control. You need to actually turn the mouse power on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and Comfort I’ve had this mouse for over a month now and it is reliable and comfortable. The mouse fits well in your hand, provides easy access to all of the buttons, works well on any surface that I tried, and has an easy time reconnecting via Bluetooth to my computer. Connecting the first time was easy, and it’s small size makes it easy to carry around The only issues that I came across were a couple of connection issues and the odd functionality of the scroll wheel. I had trouble connecting back and forth between different devices, for which the only solution was to remove the mouse from my laptop’s Bluetooth list and connect from scratch. The mouse also occasionally disconnects and has to be turned off and on again to reconnect. The scroll wheel is a little stiff, and it is easy to accidentally press down on it. This will also accidentally trigger its function, which if you’re in a browser - like Chrome - will take you back a page. But overall the issues are minor, and the rest of the functionality and design of the mouse is fantastic.

It's a good size for my hand, HOWEVER every so often the mouse will lag or stop working for about 30 seconds to one minute. Other than the lag and the mouse freezing, it is great.

I have had no issues with the bluetooth connecting. The battery life seems to last a bit longer than other mice I have had in the past too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good if it works I bought this Wifi mouse to go with my Lenovo Carbon (running Windows 8) which has only two USB ports (which I need or other things). The mouse works fine for a short time then it doesn't work at all. I can restart it but with same results, it works only or a few minutes. Our IT department searched for and installed all latest drivers and tried but failed to find the problem. It's a good design, good idea but worthles if it doesn't work.

The clicks are rich and the wheel moves great. It has a slight heft to it that makes the product feel quality. And best of all, no cord or dongle to keep up with. It always connects when I turn on my laptop. All in all best mouse I've ever owned. Not big and bulky, fits perfectly in hand.

I tried multiple other batteries, the mouse will light up for 5 sec and then goes dark again (goes off and not responding). I've been trying to contact Lenovo support for the past several days, being referred from one long waiting number to the other as well as live chat and finally the last one opened a case number and asked to email someone else, because they cannot find it in their system! All other calls after long waiting time (over 30 min) would refer me to some other number or switch to some automated answering which would disconnect me again. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with this customer service and am regretting my purchase form Lenovo. I was considering purchasing another computer for our small business but after this disappointing experience with customer support I will not buy anything else from Lenovo. As this moment I still have this faulty mouse and been using my old one with the wire. If this will be the same service with my new laptop I am already regretting the purchase ! I am giving up on ever getting a new working mouse form Lenovo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size and features but beware I recently purchased a ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Gen along with the ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse. I love the size of this mouse and its design and feel. Unfortunately, the mouse continues to lose connectivity with my ThinkPad. I find if I turn the mouse off and back on will fix the problem. I have contacted the Lenovo technical support but that has not proven to be helpful. I like the fact that the mouse does not use any of my existing ports but its reliability is questionable. When I purchased this item a few weeks ago I studied the reviews and noticed others that have reported the same problem but I thought it may have been fixed. Sadly this mouse has a great size, look and feel but it is not reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mouse for small hands or travelers I want to preface this by saying that I regularly use both a desktop and a laptop (for work and leisure) and spend time on each for greater than 8 hours per day on average. I've used many types of mice at different price points as I play video games and do a lot of precise photo editing. Now to the mouse, some of the talking points: - This would be a fantastic travel mouse. It's light and packs away easily and is charged by two AA batteries. The drawback to this is that it might be a little small for larger hands and may be uncomfortable to use. - The build quality is robust and feels like what I would expect from Thinkpad-line products. It has the nice "velvety" feel like the Thinkpad laptops do. The mouse click is responsive and the sensor seems to be of decent quality. - The mouse is not very plug-and-play, and may be a little bit difficult for a non-computer savvy person to get started with. It requires the mouse drivers provided by Lenovo, and if these aren't installed then the movements can seem a little "shaky". - The batteries make this mouse a little heavier than a standard mouse, which is great if you like that kind of haptic feedback on your movements. Overall I think this is a great mouse for someone who travels light or who has smaller hands, and would definitely recommend it to those types of people! I wouldn't use it for gaming since it doesn't seem to have any easy customizability for the DPI, polling rate, etc. but otherwise it's good for general office work. I would give it a 4.5 / 5 just because it might be a little small for the average user.

Purchase the one that doesnt match your "stealth" black ThinkPad and use 1 of only 2 USB slots that you have for the more reliable Lenovo wireless mouse. The construction is solid (the manner of Lenovo, as always, and is small enough and light enough to carry everywhere without discomfort, but not enough to make it uncomfortable to use. On the contrary, it is as comfortable as my current desktop mouse.

I have had to throw out at last 3 of these. They last 2 years at the best.

The buttons have a nice click and the soft grippy texture is nice. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little bigger to fit my hand better. I guess I am used to a full size mouse...but this guy will be great for travel and the small amount of times I need it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best wireless mouse found so far Added internal Dell 350 Bluetooth module of insignificant cost on ebay to Dell M-90. Driver on Dell site works fine. Most newer laptops will come with Bluetooth built in to start with. Two AA batteries pop in and out of mouse exceptionally easily. Easiest battery change of any such mouse. This mouse makes use of low power laser such that laser beam not visible to the eye. Mouse power management scheme best of any laser cordless mouse tested here. Batteries last for many months without ever turning the mouse manual power switch off. Resolution fine. Shape, size and ergonomics perfect for this user. Using second of these mice on Lenovo T60p. Elimination of any need for an external receiver and USB slot taken is very welcome. Regularly use XP Pro SP3 but have successfully tested under W7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once I got it to Work, It's Mostly Very Nice I bought this to use on my Surface tablet, which with only a single USB port, has required jumping through hoops to use. Hence having an affordable Bluetooth mouse seemed like a great idea. The first issue I had was getting it to pair via Bluetooth. If you read the picture-only instructions, it seems to show connecting to Bluetooth on your computer, then downloading the drivers from Lenovo. When this didn't work, I read the text instructions, which said to download the drivers first(!. When this didn't work, I tried it on another computer. When this didn't work, I more carefully inspected every part of the mouse. As it turns out, there is a second button on the bottom of the mouse, next to the I-O switch, which needed to be continually pressed down while trying to pair the mouse to the computer. It finally paired. But it still didn't work. About 15 minutes later, though, it started to work. Yay! Using it is mostly very nice. It feels wonderful (love that skin-like soft feel), the left and right buttons work well, and the shallower body is fine; not preferable, but not a problem either. But the scroll wheel (which it turns out, I rely on a LOT!) works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Another mystery, and very frustrating when it doesn't work. Finally, the issues of having to turn off the power-saver settings seemed to have been fixed since some of the earlier reviews. Or so it seems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect - once you turn off power saving mode. Good mouse. Both matches and feels like my beloved Thinkpad. It should be noted that to work with this mouse your Bluetooth settings should be changed to not use power save. This does not impact the battery life on my Thinkpad but does give a continuous rock solid connection to the mouse. I find it quite unbelievable that someone should reference the reviews in support of the poor quality of the connection, when the answer to their problem lies in the reviews prior to theirs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool concept but TERRIBLE performance I got with my X1 Carbon Touch for work/research. Since the X1 Ultrabook only has 2 USB ports, I thought "Why not get the blutooth mouse to save a USB port!" Good in theory. While great when it works, this mouse will just shut off/disconnect, and I have to turn it on/off a bunch or restart the computer for it to work. It happens frequently(Like 3-5 times in an hour of work) I'm using it 3-5 inches away (so in range). I've now read numerous similar reports on various forums. While I found 3 supposed Lenovo fixes posted by Lenovo, none worked. I'm now getting the Lenovo wireless USB mouse (I want the mini dongle) and have switched to my old Logitech USB mouse (with the thumb-drive sized dongle).

The click wheel is solid and the overall feel of the mouse is excellent albeit a touch too small. Battery life is excellent! Would buy again without question

We thought initially that batteries had drained, but we found they were not the problem, although it just did not turned on. It would be fair to think that it fell and didn't survive, but it has no scratches or signs of damage. It started flickering until it stopped working. It's a pity, my wife was really happy with it. Perhaps it can be repaired, we'll see

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect travel mouse Really, really love this mouse, solid build, accurate, works on just about any surface and buttons are quiet, plus side scrolling. Perfect! I have to use this on the road quite a bit, often in quiet spaces, and having something compact and quiet like this is great. That said, the scroll wheel does click a bit, but it's not too noticeable. Bluetooth is great, connects quickly and reliably, always love not having to take up a USB port for a dongle. Does need two AA batteries, but I find this preferable to a single battery - lasts longer and makes it feel more solid. I work a lot with timelines in media editing so side scrolling is a must. Installing Lenovo Mouse Suite and selecting "Enable Lenovo Mouse Suite scrolling" has helped with compatibility across several apps - recommend installing that if you want to fine-tune the mouse a bit more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mouse, Awesome Quality!! Mouse is great, the feel of the clicks and scroll wheel is very satisfying to use. Feels quality all around. The battery life is great too. Also nice not to have to use a dongle for connection as it is Bluetooth. Only downside is the mouse is a tad smaller than I would like, however I should've paid more attention to the dimensions. Perfect travel mouse for the thinkpad.

Happily opened up the laser mouse, followed instructions and downloaded driver from Lenovo website. I brought it to go with my new T490S ThinkPad, thinking it would be the best! Lenovo website said it was compatible with the operating system on my ThinkPad. It isn't. After spending two hours chatting yesterday and one hour on the phone today with technical support I am giving up. I did everything they said. No luck. I can't mention the operating system but their software said the Lenovo driver wasnt approved by them and their website store offered no alternative app. So disappointing when both products are new and website said they were compatible. Laptop works well but I like a mouse.

It is very well built, very dependable, easy to use and due to its small form factor fits almost anywhere. The best part is that it is Bluetooth so no dongle is needed. It has excellent build quality for the price, overall its an excellent mouse!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite mouse. FEELS LIKE A THINKPAD!! For work, this is the best mouse I think I have ever used. Palm sized and covered in the same soft touch material as Thinkpads, I use this little guy with my current X17G Carbon and every other Thinkpad I have back to my original IBM T40 (with a Bluetooth dongle of course). It's quick, there is no perceptible lag and it's weighted to feel like a gaming mouse (which It is when I play older games but I would not use for newer AAA titles or any twitch streaming, etc.). Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There is no substitute I am an Office Manager for a small Architect Firm. The principal architect has been using this mouse for two years. He brings it to and from the office to work at both places, so the mouse sees a lot of use and unprotected travel. The rate of dirt accumulation far outweighs the frequency of being cleaned and subsequently exhausted the mouse. Instead of simply using another mouse on hand at the office, the principal requested a replacement ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse. He has grown so accustomed to the heft and response of this mouse, he wasn't interested in any substitute.
