Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pen! No way to get replacement nibs! I got this pen when I ordered this Thinkpad P15 Gen 1 about a year ago. Recently I lost the nib from my Pen Pro. Thus began my search for my spares? Nowhere to be found in my bag or desk, I turned to the Interweb. Nothing to be found on Lenovo's site, nothing valuable in REDDIT but one suggestion to try WACOM nibs came up in the Lenovo community. The pictures looked familiar. The post was old, but didn't indicate success nor failure so I ordered them from WACOM. As soon as I opened the package I could tell they were smaller than I expected and sure enough they are too small. Curse Lenovo for not having an FRU or orderable part number for the tips of a premium stylus. I don't recommend this stylus/pen until Lenovo provides a SKU for the replacement nibs/tips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a good pen but has its flaws Great pen! The tracking works really well, as it doesn't skip or jump around. I originally thought that this pen required bluetooth to be on all of the time in order for the pen to work, but it seems like this is not the case. Bluetooth only needs to be on for the programmable buttons, but the actual writing/tracking of the pen is done independently of bluetooth. Other than that I really like this pen, but I really wish that there was the ability to use the cap of the pen as a eraser, as in order to erase I have to select erase in the whatever drawing app I'm using. Furthermore, this pen does not have the ability to turn off, so it is always on and draining power. From my usage the battery holds its charge very well during periods of non-use, so this may not be that much of a problem but still not being able to turn it off is a flaw in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissapointing, no way to contact support. I was so pleased with this pen at first. The battery life lasts forever and all the features work smoothly. But after about two months of (very light) use, the palm rejection began to glitch often and the nib started scratching against the inside and clicking and grinding. It is now a horrible writing experience. This would be fine if I could contact support as it comes with a warrenty, but in order to contact support you need a serial number. The number that came with my pen is invalid, so there is no way for me to get any kind of support for it (and I have tried!). Most people seem to enjoy this pen, but I'd warn against it due to his fast it broke and how bad the customer service is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Missing on Key Feature Everything is great about this Pen, Worked with my Flex 5 and Also My Yoga 9i 15". Its responsive. I used it for all of my classes in Grad School, Submitted Homework nicely and smoothly with. The programmed button helped achieve respectable fluency and Productivity. BUT it is missing the HOLD to activate function on the Third Button. I can Single Click, Double Click, but No Hold to activate. It so important to me that I keep checking to see if the feature actually works. Does anyone know a Lenovo pen that has that third programmability.

He uses it for almost everything he does with his Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 3 laptop. The pen feels sturdy and is well balanced. Setup was a breeze and customization of the various buttons was intuitive. Much like the other Lenovo products I've bought (2x ThinkPads, 2x docking stations), I'm very impressed with the high quality of this product. A great addition!

Thee was some hiccups when trying to set up the shortcuts for some reason but it eventually worked out. Battery life is super long too after 1 full charge. I use it consistently and haven’t had to charge it a second time yet!

You can navigate the web in various ways, zoom in, hover and click etc. Ultimately, this pen is a multi-purpose productivity tool. The key highlights of this pen are pressure sensitivity for natural writing, sketching, and painting. You can seamlessly switch between different applications with one of three configurable shortcut buttons on the side and top of the pen. This is a very efficient pen. I highly recommend.

The battery is super long, much better than the stylus in the garage that would need to be charged after every hour...and it also has 3 buttons which is really helpful if I want to erase something or access an application. Overall, amazing pen, comes with extra nibs as well, and it's lightweight and feels good in my hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the Pen Pro I purchased this pen because other than the terrible pen that comes with my Lenovo Yoga C940, I tried other pens like the bamboo ink and it was not good. With this pen it works better than any other. Only problem I have with this pen is that the battery drops to 70% very quickly but then stays at 70% for a long period of time. So I'm not sure if the computer is reading the pen correctly. I like the fact that it charges through my computer with the USB C cable that comes with the pen. It also integrates with the Lenovo Pen Settings application, as do all pens that are connected to the computer. One con is that the pen does not support top button long press.

The pressure sensitivity is great, the hand feel and weight are perfect, and the ability to recharge it is really nice (no more worrying about batteries!. Plus, the bluetooth functionality and dual barrel buttons are great for shortcuts. The nibs are a little different than the Active Pen 2, I think they seem like a softer plastic and have a little more traction on the glass screen. The only reason I've docked a star is because I have a Lenovo Yoga 920 14", which does NOT support tilt- that was the main reason I purchased the pen. (I have since sent it back which was a very easy process thanks to the team at Lenovo. :) )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy for a Yoga C940. I saw the reviews saying it would work with the Yoga C940, despite some support saying otherwise. So I decided to try it anyway. Writing, the lines were not straight, laggy, and jumping around... wrote terrible. The 1 star is just a warning to say it did not work with my yoga. I'm sure it would be a fine device with the right equipment. But I will be trying the active 2 for yoga instead and hope it works better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Thinkpad X1 yoga 3rd gen I use this on my x1 yoga. It's comfortable like a regular pen and lightweight. The charge lasts a long time. I've only charged it once since I've bought it and I've been using it consistently for at least two weeks. Downsides: in OneNote the pen cursor sometimes shifts the the right of where I'm holding the pen. I'm not sure why that happens and if it's the pen or the program.

I bought the pen from Lenovo's site after spending hours searching for its functionality and compatibility. This was a needlessly complex process because of Lenovo's poor documentation and product information. I purchased the Pro not knowing whether or not my Flex 5 AMD would support all its features. It doesn't. Also, the pen skips in Krita regardless of mode/setting. Still, the pen has a nice feel/build and should be a stellar performer and I might test it on another platform on which it will perform better. Note: No pen holder was included so I am constantly worried about losing this pen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo pen pro I am a Thinkpad X1 Yoga 3rd gen user and the lenovo pen pro was the perfect addition to my 2 in 1 laptop. I am a physician and often use the touch function of my laptop to addend documents, highlight notes, or draw images for my patients. The lenovo pen pro is the perfect size so you are able to have a good grip when writing compared to other pens or the stock touch pen that comes with the X1 yoga. The extra buttons also allow me to program preset functions that make my life much easier. However, the best part of the pen is its superb touch and tilt sensitivity. As a surgeon, I expect my tools to be PRECISE and this pen surely meets the standard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Very Nice Classical Drawing Tool I use the Lenovo Pen Pro for detailed classical drawing techniques and find it performs very well in that format. While it might be dubious that digital drawing tools will ever compare entirely to pen and pencil on paper in terms of control over line weight and precision, the trade-off for convenience is making this tool a very admirable competitor in those respects to traditional fine art materials, and the control I feel with the Lenovo Pen Pro is superior to others I have experienced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Pen Pro. The right tool for the job. I have all three generations of Lenovo Pens. The Pen Pro is my favorite. Evenly weighted and feels solid in your hand, the buttons have been moved upwards and out of the way just enough to prevent accidental pressing. The new usb-c charge port seems very reliable and convenient thus far. Lastly and most importantly, the angle of the new tip seems more practical/ user friendly and allows for an artist to draw at more of a natural angle rather than keeping the pen more upright as was necessary with other pens/ older models. Great product, well built, practical, sleek.

However, I am not able to charge the battery on the pen past 80% which I think is suspect. Lenovo customer service and tech support is also having issues figuring out how to handle my situation as the product warranty is not listed in their system's database.

The Pen Pro work perfectly for both of us. Very nice weight, feel, and sensitivity. The pen is rechargeable and does not need a battery. Love it!

The top part where the type-c connector is feels a little wobbly in it's connection to the rest of the pen. It's not bad, but it bothered me a bit. The lack of a holder to keep it with my laptop causes it to get misplaced often

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pen It's a great pen with very little lag. Would recommend to use the the Levnovo C940. One thing I would say is that this is a pressure sensitive pen and the thickness of your lines will depend on how much pressure you put on the pen.

I mostly got this because I don't really want to deal with finding new batteries every couple months, so far one charge has been enough, its been about two months now. The charging port is thoughtfully placed and prevents it from rolling around. I'm a design student so I mainly use it to draw on my YOGA and its feels pretty good. Buttons are all sturdy, shortcut button comes in handy a lot, it feels a bit light in the hand but you get used to it.

BUT I didn't get the replacement nibs and apparently lenovo doesn't even sell them separately which means this expensive pen will be useless if you break a tiny nib. Upset with that.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but I've not had it lose connectivity unexpectedly and the screen responsiveness and accuracy is some of the best I've ever experienced when compared with other tablets/computers and their corresponding pens. I would highly recommend this pen. I use it with my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme 4th Gen laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not usable in the long term This product would be perfect if not for one terrible flaw: The inability to purchase new pen nibs for it. Don't waste your time buying the Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus nibs (part CS322AK), they're too short and won't stay inside the pen. Finding anything about this pen online is a nightmare due to the name being similar to many others Lenovo sells. Very disappointed that Lenovo doesn't have replacement nibs for this pen, which is NOT cheap, yet has plenty of nibs for their wimpy pens that cost $20. I definitely do not recommend you buy this pen until they provide replacements. The default nibs are rough and try to simulate pencils, which is not what I want. I chose this pen because of the excellent battery life that other options don't provide. But I guess I'll have to purchase another pen whenever I inevitably lose all the nibs for this (which come out extremely easily by the way).

Works like a champ! The Google Slate responds to pen orientation and pressure. I wanted a pen that would recharge by USB-C as well. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the included pen, but it has isues. The Lenovo Pen Pro mostly works very well except for 2 problems. The first being noise. The data coming out of the pen has a lot of noise. This causes lines to look wavy when you zoom in. This can be remedied with software smoothing but it should not be this bad. The second issue is if I do a particular combination of hand placement and pen interaction it starts writing over by my palm instead of under the pen. This is the best Lenovo Pen I have Used but it is still behind Apple, Samsung, and Microsoft.

I don’t know what apps to use yet on my Lenovo laptop that works best for writing with it. It feels very nice to hold but sometimes it’s glitchy with my laptop. Overall I like it & will be keeping it to use for school.

I have set the button on the top to launch the photo apps I use most often. I am able to be precise in what I want to draw. Works well. Since it is one of the more expensive pens I wish it came with a sleeve for protection but otherwise I have no complaints!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptionally responsive and comfortable to use! Pen PRO is far more responsive than the stock pen. I won't even use the stock pen and it's gathering dust in the office bin somewhere. I like that this pen is rechargeable using the same USB-C plug. I take handwritten notes with this all day long, sometimes sketches, depending on the demand. The only thing I don't like is that the barrel buttons are a little too easy to press, so sometimes I'll accidentally erase something while I'm writing or drawing. Still, that might be my gorilla mitts and not the pen engineering.

Bought it for use with my T15G with the fantastic 4K OLED touch display. The control is very good too. Zero regrets. Makes editing and drawing on photos a piece of cake. Far better than that on my SM-T830 tablet or the GFs apple tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Pen Pro Pen works well and is very responsive to minutest movements. Connects almost instantly and holds a charge for a very long time. The included charging cable is too short to charge the pen and keep in accessible, so I switched it out with a longer cable. I should also note that the sketch box does not pop up for writing on certain websites with forms. I don't think this is caused by the pen though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for one time use Buyers be aware. This pen works great but the nib wears quickly. Lenovo does not sell any replacement nibs for this pen. When I contacted their sales team they directed me to encompass, who provide parts for Lenovo. Long story short, they don't have the nibs either. So just be aware for a hundred dollars you get a decent pen and three nibs and that's it. You probably can't replace nib after those, so if you write a lot with the pen, purchase with caution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pen, But drivers are not compatible Overall I am fairly happy with my purchase. The pen itself is very light and of very good build quality. I like not having to buy batteries for this pen and instead charge it with USB-C. It does work to use on my screen and is much more responsive than the stock pen that came with the system. I have Lenovo Yoga A940 AIO system, and unfortunately, the drivers for this pen do not currently work for this system, so i do not have any button customization abilities. I would be very happy if Lenovo would make the drivers for this pen work with this system. The A940 AIO is a system build for use in the creative industry, so i find it weird that they would not have drivers available to use with this pen. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pen works with ThinkPad P1 Gen 4 with Touchscreen The Lenovo Pen Pro functions well with the touchscreen on my ThinkPad P1 Gen 4. It charges quickly from a Thunderbolt 4 slot, and the percentage charge is displayed in the Bluetooth status information on the PC. The Bluetooth connection works flawlessly. The pen is recognized and pairs quickly. I find the pen buttons somewhat clumsy to use, but this is the first touch pen that I have used with a computer screen. With more use, my ability to use the various buttons will most likely improve. I also have difficulty using the pen to write freehand script on the computer screen when the display is not laid flat. Again, that is no reflection on the pen. I simply need more time to accommodate to using the pen for various functions. The battery provides enough capacity for days of use without charging, even though I can find no way to manually turn off the power. Touch sensitivity is good, and left and right mouse click functions operate well. Overall, the Lenovo Pen Pro is a great device for pen input with the ThinkPad P1 Gen 4 (with the touchscreen display).

This pen has amazing consistency, and I've only charged it once since receiving it 3 weeks ago. Even after frequent use, it still has charge and works great. The keybindings are very versatile and useful, and the pen nib is very soft on my screen. The last pen I had scratched the surface. If you're in need for a new pen, I would definitely recommend this one. Great for both note taking and digital art.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good build quality I purchased thus in tandem with the Bamboo Ink, and the Lenovo Pen was hands-down the better fit for the X1 Yoga I have. The pen feels well-constructed, but is just a tad lighter than I prefer. For context (since this is a purely personal preference), the mechanical pencil I write with is an older version of the Uni Kuru Toga, which is a bit on the heavier side with nice knurling, and I wish I had a heavier, more 'tactile grip on the Pen Pro. My only other gripe is how easy it is to accidentally push the side buttons while writing, but again, it's probably due to the way I hold the pen (I'm left handed and have a nonstandard hold).
