I have been using it for over a month and it is way exceeding my expectations. It is an extremely quiet machine. The i9 processor is just unbelievably fast. It’s size is fantastic, which offers me a traveling option. I used its wireless capabilities for a few days and it got me through the day without any issues other than a bit longer loading times. All of this for under $2K!!! (with discount coupon, I definitely recommend this machine if you do any kind of financial work or have a hobby like photography.

After a while start to work in slow motion. I have to restart the computer to make it little faster. Very disappointed.

Another good thing about the P340 Tiny’s design is that it doesn’t have to sit vertically like a traditional tower. It can easily be placed or mounted horizontally. It comes with VESA mounting bracket if you want to attach to backup of monitor.

When the fan does come on, there is - of course - a small amount of noise but the device is easily small and light enough to be positioned out of the way so that it cannot be heard.

This machine is unbelievably fast, quite and will handle anything you throw at it. Huge spreadsheets are now completely useful. My P340 Tiny has a 4gig video card, something I have never owned as I always relied on the built in CPU graphics. I am amazed by the capacity to run 6 monitors, I'm an accountant so I am running 4 displays off the display port card. I feel total spoiled and I purchased the unit during the anniversary sale and received excellent pricing. Delivery was handled as promised, quick and simple. The only negative was that I received a VESA mount when I wanted the vertical stand. I bought the vertical stand for $10.00 for Lenovo and I guess I will sell the VESA mount on Ebay!

The option to add an optical drive attaches a drive to the workstation, but the two don't connect without taking up a USB slot on the workstation, so be aware of that if you'll be using it frequently. You may want a USB hub in that case.

The presentation software we run has some pretty steep system requirements in order to present a snappy UI. This computer fits the bill nicely. It is a solid, heavy computer that appears well built and performs well for our situation.

I have purchased just over 50 of these workstations over the last year and the only issue I have with them consistently is that the fan gets noise after a couple months of use on about 1/3 of the machines. A quick warranty clam and it became a non issue.

Disabled Intel 630 to try and force P1000 but the unit would never display anything again on various monitors and cables. Unplugged and tried to reset. Strange glitch but will try another after RMA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great computer so far... Great computer! Small size, a lot of functionality, enough USB ports (using Blu-Tooth for keyboard and mouse freed up two), multi-monitor capable. Cons: 1. USB-C is 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gb) instead of Gen 2 (10Gb) (per spec sheet). But BIOS has a Thunderbolt setting, nothing in manual mentions that. So which port is Thunderbolt, the USB-C? Is it really just Gen 1? 2. On first power up, the Lenovo update downloaded a BIOS update, the computer bricked. Don't use the on-line support system, the case number generated didn't go anywhere. After a week I called tech support and they did not have a clue on the case number I was given on-line. Received a new case number, new mainboard arrived in a couple of days and the IBM support technician came a few days later. 3. Minor issue. The supplied bolts to mount on the unit on the back of the monitor were way too short to even engage the threads. Sourced longer M4-0.7 bolts with plastic spacers to mount. Mounting kit should have a variety of lengths to use as monitors are different.

(Be sure to make one when it prompts you! Buy one flashed by Lenovo, if they offer it.) It is small, it is cute, with the default thermal policy it is not very loud even when fully loaded. If you're looking for a compact, inexpensive core pool, you may care that that default thermal policy seems to clamp pegged core freq to 1.9 GHz on the 10 core model, at least with Linux.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful little tiny box that stays MOSTLY quiet Picked this up to run as a small server. With 64GB of ram, room for two NVMe drives and a GPU this box can do a ton. I'm running multiple VMs, docker and other services on the box. It remains silent nearly 90% of the time and only starts the fans up when I engage at least half the cores. Only issue I ran into is that with the onboard GPU installed, you need to plug directly into the GPU on the mDP ports in order to access the BIOS. Otherwise it's a flawless little machine!

The fact that it is user-servicable is a big bonus (I added a second HD and upgraded the RAM), which is a problem in a lot of tiny computers by other companies. I've been using it as my fulltime work computer for a week now and it has been great: it runs fast but quietly, and not too hot. Excellent overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice small desktop. Fits mostly under monitor. Using to replace a Lenovo T530 that was a desktop with a docking station. Very small footprint. So far so good. Fast and stable. Not a lot of bloatware, but I still immediately reinstalled a clean version of Windows. Unit has lots of ports, but wish there was a USB-C on the rear to connect to a permanent docking station. Ports are close together so you'll still likely need a mount or a docking station to keep the footprint small without tons of cables coming out of it. Also, because ports are so close together, can't use angle adapters really. It did NOT come with the vertical stand -- wish it would've. Unit is very quiet. Fan doesn't run until you do something with encryption. Stays very cool as well, but I'm not running CPU intensive apps -- just want normal business apps to be stable and fast. I think the price was fair given the power, number of cores, separate video card with multiple monitor drivers. All in all, a good unit. Recommended -- so far.

As a retired software developer who can't quite let go, I'm totally satisfied with my purchase. I was looking to replace a high end, full tower workstation with something more compact while not losing performance. The P340 delivers. My setup includes a LG 32" 4K HDR10 monitor, which is fed using one of the four display port jacks on the graphics adaptor. The results are fantastic. This is our second Lenovo product, and in both cases we've been very pleased with the performance, quality and reliability.

I had already begun using an older Lenovo Tiny workstation and loved the form factor and its ability to drive 2 4k displays. The P340 with a dedicated graphics upgrade and 32 GB RAM takes all of the graphics, engineering, and calculation tasks I can throw at it without a hitch and it has improved my home office setup.

The PC came fast, is well built, and has all the functionality of a full-sized PC (including all ports - no CD drive, but honestly, that should be a plus rather than a con). The PC is very quite for work across MS Excel, Firefox, Adobe PDFs, and some statistical software. The PC is quite in sleep mode. My only - albeit very minor - feedback is that the fan does make a little noise when playing a video game (i.e., StarCraft II). This is nothing major. Oh, and the PC does not come with the small PC stand, so consider ordering one with the PC if you need. All in all, I love my P340. It's quality, high end, and does the job for a great price with an excellent form factor. Never going back to Dell again. Be sure to search the internet for Lenovo coupon codes!

Especially this tiny form factor is so CUTE, many times it feels like a pastry that I can bite. Joke aside, I am pretty happy with the performance and value. I just wished they provided a better quality keyboard. I bought Lenovo SmartCard Reader keyboard with the traditional Blue ENTER key which sets the mood correctly and sounds nice, too. I paired with the Lenovo P44W Ultra Wide screen ThinkVision monitor, which is awesome.

And it doesn't have mini DP come with it, which takes me a long time to realize that if we need to change some configuration during startup process, we need to use mini DP cable instead or normal DP cable. And no where mentioned it in the documents.

I ran a compilation on my standard "programming" cpu ( a Intel(R Core(TM) i7-3770S CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz). 16G of ram. took a little less than 1 minute. Same compiler, same program on this little beast. A little more than 3 seconds. WOW!
