The Microsoft® Xbox adaptive controller is a special device that makes gaming more accessible to individuals with limited and impaired mobility. Part of the Xbox family, it functions as a unified hub for input devices in place of standard Xbox controller buttons, D-pads and thumb sticks. The Microsoft Xbox accessibility controller has 19 3.5mm ports and two USB 2.0 ports to accommodate external input devices, such as switches, buttons, mounts, joysticks and other assistive gadgets. One 3.5mm slot is for an audio stereo headset jack.

It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth® or USB-C™ for Xbox One console gaming or Windows 7, 8.1 and 10/11 PCs. Remap the function of buttons and devices on the adaptive game controller using an Xbox accessories app to suit gaming preference and style. Create several controller profiles and switch between three of them using the built-in profile button. An internal lithium-ion battery powers the assistive device and charges via a USB-C cable.
