Modem has a slightly smaller footprint and is also slightly faster (I'm using Norton Core as my router with aggressive security settings.). Also can't wait to save some money from not having to rent xfinity modem ;), will take a few years.

Setup was really easy and pretty self explanatory. had my internet back up and running within a few minutes, and still getting the gigabit speed service i pay for. Happy and excited to have the best technology around to "futureproof" my home network for the next several years.

I needed to replace the modem and I located the Netgear CM 1150v which fit my needs. I like the CM1150v because it has a telephony connect and I wanted to use a network router to complete my home internet system. The Netgear CM1150v is a great cable modem the was perfect for my home.

After looking what was on the market and reading the reviews on several sites I chose the Netgear Nighthawk. What a difference, and easy to setup on my comcast internet. So far I used it for one week and the quality of the voice calls is very good and the Internet speed is in the range of 400 -500 Mbps. I have a plan with max speed of 400Mbps and this modem is delivering that speed. I am satisfied customer
