Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad quality.I received a replacement for my device but it is just as bad. There is a defective plug for the tip of the adapter. I received already three different devices from you and all of them are just as bad. Your devices used to be of excellent quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crystal Clear and 100% reliableCrystal Clear and 100% Reliable. I've been using Plantronics headsets since 1966! I wouldn't think of trying a different company's hardware. This is the 4th replacement in 48 years of constant use 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year. I think 12 years of constant reliability per headset system is an excellent record.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great!Just installed amp yesterday and made one call to test. Seems to work very well on my ShoreTel 230 phone with the Plantonics headset. .The phone has separate handset and headset jacks, so I am only using it for the headset, which is adequate for my needs, and allows handset to be used normally. Sound is very clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent broadband amplifier/processorI listen to many teleconferences and this, coupled with the SHR2083-01 allows me to hear a person speaking from the back of the conference room on the other end. I chose the Vista/M22 (versus the VistaPlus AP15 based on the specification sheets, dealer comments and comments posted elsewhere. I'm frequently on the phone with people who have a higher voice or linguistic heritage of higher vocals. I wanted to make sure I had a broader spectrum amplifier boosting volume into the higher frequencies to help me better understand and support people, especially over faint connections. Overall, this combination of the SHR2083-01 and M22 is outstanding. Regarding the comment on "ringing", I don't experience feedback loops with this pairing, although pre-purchase it was a factor as I was encountering ringing, only very infrequently. I did consider the AP15 to be more feedback loop resistant but wanted the broader audio range the M22 seemed to have. Post purchase, I haven't had any ringing and the problem may have been from another attendee. On the comment about using a lot of batteries, I bought the AC adapter at the same time as the amplifier (it's not included) and it worked fine. The costs of replacement batteries would eventually be more than the AC adapter cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting and essential for ProfssionalsAll my 7 yrs of call center career went with this. There has been time I was hard on the buttons and never gave up. After prolonged used you might find some static while using push buttons.Good investment as there are many PLT headsets that go with or need this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always HissingI have both batteries and the wall adapter and it doesn't matter how it's configured. Batteries only, wire only, or both together, there's always a hiss. When using the wall adapter it adds a recognizable 60Hz hum (something I know from audio production). I called both my vendor and Plantronics and nobody seems to know whether the system is supposed to constantly draw power like it would have to in order to create the hiss I'm hearing. The Plantronics rep told me to to return it. The vendor told me to try another phone. If it were the phone, I wouldn't hear a hissing (like it's on) even without the phone connected at all. I do. I used to be a real fan of Plantronics and spent many, many, many hours with the Mirage attached to my ear. Oh and that reminds me, the hissing is with both the Encore 530 AND my old Mirage. I can't imagine how anyone living off the battery solution manages. As long as Plantronics has been doing this thing, I expected better, not worse.
