Rated 5 out of 5 bylsorice from Great little soundbar and easy set upPurchased this soundbar from Best Buy on a sale for a steal of $100. My bedroom tv was recently wall mounted to save space, but all the audio would project down the hall way because of the rear firing speakers. This solved all my issues. Connected via the HDMI ARC and boom...excellent sound of the price and seamlessly works with my Samsung TV so only one remote is needed for my whole set up now. I only wish that this soundbar was more of a slim profile or smaller since it's not intended to fill a huge room for a movie theater experience.

Every third of forth time the TV plus Cable box is started up the TV MATE "loses connection" with the TV. Only TV speakers fire even though the TV MATE display says DIN which shows that the input source is correct. Very frustrated as the whole idea was to have like brands to create a seamless integration. Not happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 bypupcup from excellent soundbought this to replace an older unit. our living room is 600 sf and we can hear it well from the dining area. taking awhile to get used to it turning on when we turn on the tv, does not sync with our tv volume. as we forget and turn on the 8 speaker sound system we have had for years. It was also on terrific sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBlondgoose from Bluetooth nightmare--even with Samsung TVI wanted ZERO Bluetooth compatibility problems, so I shopped only Samsung soundbars to go with new Samsung TV. And this soundbar fails Bluetooth function. First, the Sound Mode on TV intermittently grayed out if speaker did manage to connect--sometimes I could, and other times I could not, change from 'standard' and 'surround' using Samsung universal remote. Upon contacting chat, I was advised only the soundbar remote could perform that function. This is false since I previously had capability and even set equalizer levels with universal remote. Now, the soundbar un-pairs EVERY time TV is powered off for extended period of time. Upon contacting chat again, they advised to use HDMI cable--NOT a solution. I so want to return this but movers erroneously threw away packaging.

It is not Google Home compatible - i.e. it cant get on the home wifi network. 2. I cant control it with my iphone - it requires android device for blutooth control3. I connected with with Optical cable and there is a sound sync issue that does not go away even after I used the sync settings

Rated 5 out of 5 byOzzy666 from Good Quality but......I just purchased and hooked up my soundbar this weekend and was looking forward to all the great new features unfortunately I was a little unhappy. First when I was installing the product on my wall, I was surprised to see that Samsung does not provide screws for installing on the wall. Also, after finishing installation and connecting the Auto Power Link function, the power was only going on. I was surprised to find out after I contacted customer support that the soundbar can only go on with the same remote but needs to be manually shut off with the soundbar remote. Disappointed that it cant be completed with one remote.Sound seems to be OK but doesn't blow me away. I am also finding that some channels seem much lower in volume then others, not sure of this is the soundbar or just the channels. Another disappointment is the placement of the power wires and Optical Cables, there is now where on the soundbar to hide the cables. I expected more from Samsung design. They just hang behind the soundbar. Overall its ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 byskud517 from Works but wrong inputSo I have my tvio going HDMI in to the sound bar and then HDMI out to my TV. when I hit power on the TV it turns the sound bar on and I can cahnge sound with my tivo remote but i need the input to be HDMI and it sets it to TV ARC and not HDMI so I still have to use the sound bar remote everytime. why doesnt it turn back on to the last input when I use my tvo remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGeorgiaJack from Decent Sound, TV Remote Compatible, Mounting issueI have a 32” Samsung Smart TV in a room with exercise equipment. When using some of the equipment I had trouble hearing dialogue clearly through the standard TV speakers. Rather than spending twice the amount for a TV with better sound quality, I added this sound bar to resolve that issue, which it has. I bought this on sale at Best Buy, and as a price match. A pretty good deal. I can control the volume and power “on” (but not “off) with the TV or cable remote and I can stream Bluetooth devices. The biggest issue is that the mounting bracket screw holes on the bottom of the sound bar are 17 3/4” on center apart, rather than the standard 16”. This means only 1 screw could typically hit a wall stud while the other hole in the wall will need an anchor. And, depending on your TV mounting, it may not be able to be centered with your TV (unless you use two wall anchors). So close to this being a 4-star or higher item but this is actually an issue so it gets only 3-stars.

There is plenty of Bass range. I hear sounds that I never heard before such as the 'whooshing' sound during screen transitions. Since my TV is also a Samsung, the compatibility is perfect. Control of basic soundbar functions (on/off, volume adjust is managed through the TV and my Comcast Xfinity remote controls. The included wall mounting hardware was perfect for my needs and was easy to install thanks to the mounting hole alignment template provided (be careful not to throw it away as it is tightly rolled into a capsule sized roll of paper). Highly recommended.
