Sony KOOV Trial Kit

The KOOV® Trial Kit is suitable for students from age eight and up to build 12 different robots. Each of the 12 "robot recipes" comes with a corresponding lesson. There are four sensors and two motors to add to the bots to make them perform a variety of actions. The Sony® KOOV trial kit includes building blocks in seven shapes and seven colors. The building activity helps students develop spatial awareness and 3D design skills.

Students learn to program the robots with the KOOV app, available for Windows®, macOS®, Chrome OS™ and iPad® devices with iOS 2. The app provides access to the Introductory Learning Course with four lessons. It lets the students learn the basics of coding with a simple drag-and-drop interface. Yearly, Sony launches the international KOOV Challenge where students compete by creating their robots using the STEM education kit. The brand also offers KOOV Camps, a program based on STEM-related subjects and problem-solving skills.
