Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality, but tricky removal I really like the case. The quality is good. The features are all there. It does not have auto wake/sleep, which would be a huge bonus. My biggest issues is that I bought this case as my everyday case. I have a weekly meeting in which I remove my device from this case and use a keyboard case. This case holds the device so well I feel like I will break it trying to remove the device. I'm still struggling with being able to remove the device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What happened to the Sleep/Wake function? Apple moved the magnet in the mini 4. Speck did not, therefore the sleep wake ability is gone. I would definitely buy this cover once this functionality is restored. I did in fact return the first one purchased for this reason. Too expensive not to have this feature.

I just upgraded to the iPad mini 4, which is very slightly larger. This case is still good, but it doesn't fit perfectly and the quality of the materials isn't as high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Falling Apart..... Still Cute Though.... I got this case for an incredible deal on Black Friday, unfortunately, I am seeing why it was so cheap. I use my iPad daily for many uses including school, so I am not surprised that this case is slowly getting worn out. However, I am not happy that the floral design is rubbing off, especially near the edges, the plastic surrounding the sides of the of the iPad screen is cracking and even coming off in pieces, and the lock/clasp elastic broke and is now causing the fabric to fray. The case protects my iPad, but I wish the case absorbed common wear and tear externally better.

The latch is very sturdy, and the case makes the iPad easy to hold. It has held up well, as has another one that we had for an older iPad. I would definitely buy it again.

It protects my iPad at my house, when I travel, & even when my grand-kids play games on it. The case has a sturdy clip to keep it closed, looks expensive, & I love the color! It has a slim profile & shuts the iPad off when you close it. Something I don't have to worry about doing. And I trust the Speck brand; I have one on my iPhone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best iPad case I have ever owned! I use the I pad mini four case on a daily basis and I never take it off. I love the design and how well protected my iPad is. Previously I owned a case but it took a pretty bad fall (hence why you should not play with one year Labrador Retriever with your iPad in your hand). After the fall my iPad was completely fine with not even one scratch, but the case had a cracked next to the volume buttons. I full trust my iPad in this case and I don't have to second guess my choice ever. It is really nice having a trustworthy case I can stand behind!

Case fits snugly enough that little fingers can't pry it off. Props for easy viewing on a tabletop. Love it.

However, I'm disappointed and confused to why this does not have holes for the speakers for the iPad? I mainly use my device for streaming and sometimes music, so using this case makes it difficult to hear.

The first one I bought had to be sent back because the color was so god-awful and gawdy (nothing like the online image). And I thought I was going to have to send back the second one because it's practically too small. After many unsuccessful attempts to put it on, it finally snapped in — now it's so tight I don't think it will ever come out.

The case is really comfortable to hold, sets the IPAD up for working, playing or reading and the colors are beautiful. This is my second IPAD case from Speck, I also have an IPhone case, my husband is on his second IPAD case and I suppose you can say for tech cases we are a Speck family.

Very disappointed with this, they should redesign the sides of the case with some sort of strong rubber to encase the iPad rather than the hard plastic that is cracking and breaking away. If they could correct this it would be a great case but as it is it is horrible.

What I find disappointing is that this case is advertised as being compatible with the iPad mini 5. Yes, the 5 fits into the case, but the cutouts for volume buttons and lack of cutouts for speakers, etc make this a compromise product for the iPad mini 5.

However, the one for the Mini 4 had cracked corners within a month. The case still healed together fine, but corners continued to crack even though it was not dropped or abused. Also the Elastic clasp never held from the beginning of use, and got worse as the mints went by. I am now looking for a new case to meet my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No, I wouldn't but it again For the money, this is a low quality product. It doesn't have a swivel to allow viewing from both horizontal and vertical positions. The clip that closes it is flimsy (a magnetic closer is much more efficient) and, while this seems trivial. It's made for a right handed individual; it must be facing right to allow screen usage,use of the lightening port and access your home button. If you are left handed, you'll understand this is an issue. The colors are nice but I'll be looking for one with some designs and pizzaz next time.

This is with light usage I have not even dropped it or hit it on that area it just cracked now on its own. Disappointed I bought an older version for an iPad mini 3 and it is much better quality and has held up over a few years without issues.

And I made sure that I didn't buy the wrong case or anything like that. Everything is the same. I love speck I have 3 phone cases and they hold up really good but this does not hold up good will be taking back. Only reason why I'm giving the 2 stars is because of the quality of the case I just wish it would have worked out...

It offers good protection against drops, folds into a viewing stand, and the cover supports the "close to sleep" function. I think it is a much better choice than the Apple Smart Cover which just magnetically sticks to the front, but doesn't offer any side or back protection. This is our second Speck Stylefolio case--they first one lasted a long time with a lot of use.

People have complained that it is hard to remove BUT just watch the video. 2 thumbs to pop out one corner and then a second corner and it's done! The cover clasp is a great idea. It keeps the cover over the screen if dropped. The cover is slightly padded for screen protection. This case just feels solid and strong. Also, my cover DOES sleep/wake the iPad. This is by far the best case for my iPad Mini....and I've tried 5 of them so far.

It's durable and easy for the little one to grip, plus it does a nice job of protecting the tablet while also making it look good. Would definitely recommend it. I'd buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will soon replace this case Case does not hold the iPad at a comfortable angle for reading if you are standing and the device is on a waist-high surface. Bending the case for a good angle means the iPad often slips off the case edge and falls flat on its back. Case is okay for protection but not much else. The snap closure also does not work well -- difficult to latch and release, so I don't use it at all.

Just bought my ipad mini 4, and when I first saw the case thought it was perfect, since it seemed lightweight and I liked the color.. Well, it was a nightmare ! IT DOES NOT FIT IPAD MINI 4. I tried in all possible ways, even watched the video, useless. The ipad slipped through my fingers while trying to fit the case. Will give it back for sure. TERRIBLE. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speck cases are my favorites! Love all (we have 6 of them) of the speck cases that we have purchased so far. They are nice and streamline where so many others are too bulky. Love the latch on the side that enables you to snap the case closed. The stand has 4 groves that allows you a variety of angles, and they are quite durable. They also do not add much weight, which is nice for the on the go iPads. I would highly recommend these cases. We have them for three different sizes of iPads-mini4, iPad Pro 12.9, and iPad 9.7, and they all fit nicely and have lasted us very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracked corners after only two months! I have used other Speck products without problems, but this case cracked in the corners within two months of normal use. The case was not dropped or abused in any way. Now, after four months there are pieces of plastic that have completely broken off the corners. It's too bad because this is a nice case otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit perfectly I got an iPad mini 4 on Black Friday. I ordered this case and loved it, but my iPad doesn't fit right in it. It won't snap all the way on the back so one corner of my iPad kinda hangs out so it isn't protected and the whole iPad will slide out. Very disappointed because I love the case. (And I've checked and double checked- this is supposed to be the correct case for my iPad)
