I purchased this as a replacement for a remote I had for years. I have to say that the spotlight and zoon functions beat any laser pointer remote.
The build quality is impressive. This remote feels good in your hand and companion software is excellent, it feels polished and gives you good control over the remote's functions like vibrating when you have 5 minutes left on a timer you can set, and being able to have the remote alert me when the time is running out is helpful.
It is on the expensive side, but this is indeed a quality item.
