With Tripp Lite's 2-Port DVI-D Video / Audio Splitter, you can display the same image from one computer on two DVI enabled monitors and speakers. Cascadable up to three levels of splitters, for multiple monitors. Includes a built-in signal booster to expand the distance between the splitter and connected monitors past the recommended 5 meter distance limitation. Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz, and is HDCP compatible. Plug and Play...no software or drivers required. Rated 5 out of 5 bymsg1 from It works as advertised...and works wellMy need was to find as easy and effective a method as possible to split my PC video signal between my monitor and high definition TV, in order to display photos and video on the TV. A major incentive to find a solution was the agonizingly slow experience when using an SD card plugged directly into the TV SD slot, or use a USB device in a TV USB port, or DLNA wireless media sharing between TV and PC. I tried several approaches, including A-B cable splitters and A-B switches. The various efforts either resulted in no TV image, TV image but no monitor image, or no image on either device. Enter Tripp-Lite B116-002A. Success! Image appears on monitor and TV simultaneously, with no intervention, cable swapping, or manual switches. Only step needed is to change the TV's HDMI video source from, in my case, cable TV to the HDMI port with the DVI cable coming fom the Tripp-Lite 2-port splitter. Photo and video display is as instant on the TV as it is on the simultaneously displayed monitor. Beautiful.

I mounted this video splitter under his desk, and he never has to worry about turning it on or off, it's always ready for him. Highly recommended for novice users, or those of us installing in an area where there will be little interaction with the device.
