Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, excepting fax Well made quality all in one machine. It's only fault is the inability to adjust incoming fax defaults.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a nice printer but it is lacking in longevity Have had this printer for about 3 years. My first big surprise was when I had to pay nearly $500.00 for replacement ink. I bought xerox ink because it really did last a long time. My discouragement came when It came up with error 062-380! I am now unable to copy or scan with this machine. I have found no one who can work on it in the Batton Rouge area. When it runs out of ink it will go in the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer - but SLOW I am not sure why it takes so long for a 1 MB file to spool and print. I print even larger files and it continually takes 10-15 to send a 1-10 MB file to the printer! Not sure what I am doing wrong. But I had a Dell color laser all-in-one. That printer lasted me over 15 years before is was less expensive to buy a new one than replace parts. Regardless, it typically took only a minute or so spool and send multiple copies to the printer. I am getting maybe 10 pages every 15 minutes. That should not be!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy this printer You need a IT degree to set this printer up, and maintain it. Got it working after a year of trouble shooting, then Xerox did a firmware upgrade and now it won’t scan. The instructions for the upgrade are not meant for the average person, and my several attempts failed. It should not be this hard to get basic functions of a printer to work. I called support and my only option is to hire someone to fix it. Absolutely ridiculous when there’s remote services functionality. Basically a $500 paperweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has excellent features, but The product has wonderful features and I love Xerox products, however I have had issues with this one since day one. While printing or making copies the paper never feeds or pulls from the paper tray or either it jams at the rear. It takes forever to print or copy because of this issue. I have called and Xerox has sent a new paper tray but it is still happening over a year later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD PRODUCT WITH SOME ISSUES This is a good multifunction printer for small businesses. However, with time, the ADF is problematic. There are also issues with print quality when the printer is still working after a couple of years. It seems like the products are meant to work well for a short time and then replaced. You can also only make legal size copies through the ADF. GOOD MACHINE WITH SOME QUIRKS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has a lot of complication Since COVID I had to bring the printer home. However, I have a problem every time I try to print. EVERY TIME! I have to call our ISS team at the university and they spend over an hour reconnecting the printer downloading new xerox printer files and updating the printer's system. It is a nuisance and an inconvenience for my work. I have resulted to going into the office to print, which is not preferable. And when our organization has the office closed due to increases in COVID cases or other issues that call for office closure, I am at a loss. If this problem did not exist, I would have less than minimal problems with this printer.

It is much more economical to use than a ink jet printer. It is easy to scan tand to print or to send printed copies via email..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scanning does not last I've owned this machine for almost two years, purchased April 2020. For our small business (2 people working from home) it was exactly what we needed - we especially appreciated the ADF and single pass dual sided scanning. Sadly by 18 months of use, the scanner quit functioning with an error code of 062-380, followed almost immediately by error 062-386. I followed all the directions for troubleshooting the scanner issue, but it simply will not work. And the repair costs for this machine are almost as expensive as the machine was to start. I am deeply disappointed - I have had years of reliable use out of Xerox MFP machines for larger businesses for over a decade, and thought that this MFP would be ideal. IF the scanner worked again, it would get 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice unit, fairly easy install - but the WiFi connect pegged my happy meter. The unit performs well and has been reliable thus far. It is heavy; one may need assistance lifting/carrying it. The display/control panel work well. Connecting WiFi was a royal pain in the tail - but works. The WiFi adaptor came with little or no directions, same for the printer - it took heavy-duty online searching that pegged my happy meter for days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null THe hardware and software are terrible, always causing trouble. Constantly needing to be restarted, constantly saying something (paper, a tray, a cartridge) are missing when it isn't true. The connection between the computer and the printer is wholly unreliable, you get an error 100% of the time you try to print but sometimes the doc actually prints and sometimes it doesn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Printing! Easy Toner Access! I have been using this printer for about 4 months now - GREAT QUALITY PRINTING! - BUT I have only been able to use the BYPASS Tray for feeding paper to the printer. The printer recognizes Tray 1 exists, but no matter what I change for the specifications of the tray - the printer sees it as never having any paper available to pull for printing. The printer does not have a Tray 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Fine, Struggled with it for a while Product is ok. Menus are a little confusing. Wifi setup process is annoying. Wifi part is flawwed in design as any bump can damage it. (Personal experience). Does the job, but it struggles to be consistent with printing at times. The wireless features sometimes don't work and the printer shows offline. It requires a complete uninstall of the drivers, reinstallation, and restarting of the computer (sometimes multiple times). We had major issues with paper jams. Happened consistently. All in all, ok printer, but doesn't live up to the hype.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A total waste of money I purchased this printer two years ago. When it arrived, it was completely saturated with toner powder and needed to be cleaned before it would print. Fast forward two years later, it has become completely useless. The print quality is absolutely horrible with many lines across the page in various different colors. It is jamming constantly. When I spoke to Xerox about it they wanted me to pay over $300 to get a technician to work on it. It’s a crying shame that Xerox will not stand behind their product and help me. I will never ever purchase a Xerox product ever again and give this particular printer my very worst recommendation ever. Do not waste your money on this machine or on this company for that matter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my small business I needed a color laser (one that I could afford) and of decent speed for my small business as a closing agent and tax preparer. This WorkCentre 6515 is a work horse! Currently having some streaking issues but it has been going strong for 3.5 years. I found that Hammermill paper (though a little more expensive) eliminates 99% of jams especially when I'm scanning documents. I would definitely recommend this printer, scanner, copier, fax, all in one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent printer and scanner I have had this printer for quite a few years. The GUI looks excellent but is very difficult to navigate, it's a shame. I have given up on my password, which the printer stop accepting over a year ago. I tried all the suggested fixes, to no avail. I would appreciate Xerox's help. I would be willing to change my stance on not recommending.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for the money I bought the Xerox 6515 DNI because I’m a former Xerox multifunction device owner and this current device is so feature rich and the color output is fast and brilliant. This is an excellent product for my home office and it has many of the same features as the big corporate office multifunctional devices. Great job Xerox!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goodbye ink and ink refills. I purchased my WorkCentre 6516 over a year ago and I am completely satisfied with the purchase. I am so happy not to have to purchase new ink cartridges every time I needed to print. The ink would always be dry or the ink was dry on the print head. I love that I can go a month or two without printing and then hit it hard when needed and this printer is up to the task. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst printer ever. I took it to the dump. After 2 years of frustration, several calls to Xerox, a 25. Service charge for “trying to fix it” I gave up. The last straw was each time I tried to print the paper tray settings are “wrong” and it wouldn’t print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Started out great-- When we bought the Workcentre 6515, we thought that it would be a great machine. We bought the wifi and duplexing options. That wasn't clear that these features were extra, so I had to return the first machine. The print quality was great in the beginning, but within 13 months, a spot on the drum had formed. I tried to get help from Xerox, but there was no number or person to call or even email. I tried an authorized user in the area. No help. Then I tried to get help through the forum and the help software on the machine. I couldn't get parts. I couldn't fix the spot. I've always used original cartridges, so the "burn" on the drum came from maybe using the printer too much! I have a small business, and that would not be the case! Then I tried connecting the xerox to the scanner on my computer through the network. That didn't work, although I had tried different scanning drivers and packages after I had tried the Xerox scanning software and driver (I have Win10 Pro on my Network). Again, I tried help on the machines and tutorials. I even asked my IT contractors to help me--Nothing worked! The only way that I could use the scanning feature was taking a jump drive and plugging it into the front of the machine. At least the software then gave me a quick option to scan to the usb drive! I was able to send files to an email address, but I had to stand at the machine and send it that way. I couldn't just add the documents to the scanning feeder and sit at my desk and scan it. I think there should be better tutorials set up from the company. Xerox has always been a great company, but apparently, it's only great with the majorly big machines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Workhorse mechanically, 3 years and never got it to connect to a pc to send a scan I have had 4 xerox printers. All of them have very poor network connectivity: 1. Lost connection to network at least 2-3x per month, requiring resetting the printer and reinstalling the software. 2. Scan to PC never worked. Support was never helpful. Gave up after a year of trying to get support. Conclusion: Will not be buying Xerox again. Also contacted our customers and recommended the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I HATE THIS PRINTER!! WORST PURCHASE I EVER MADE!! 6515 IS A SADISTIC PRINTER!! Bought this for my heavy equipment repair shop office from Dell. EVERY TIME I want to print a page, the printer tells me I need to change the paper type (message from printer Incorrect paper type). I try the plain paper........nope. I try the recycled paper......nope. I try the bonded.........HEY, THAT WORKS!! Next day, try to print something start all over again. This time it likes the 'Recycled' paper setting instead!! No rhyme or reason behind the selection. Always use the same paper from Staples. I JUST WANT TO PRINT A PAGE!!! The info from Dell said it was WiFi.............only if you buy the adapter!! So it's plugged into the router which is upstairs, down the hall, in a seperate room. That makes it fun when you need to fight with the printer paper settings to get it to print. I've owned this for 8 months now. The printer made me SO ANGRY TODAY that I'm writing this review. It's going outside after I get done and will be subject to a 'TUNE UP' under the sledge hammer vis Office Space the movie. I have a tried true ink jet that works just fine..........turn it on and hit print. NEVER BUYING ANOTHER XEROX PRODUCT AGAIN!! DON'T BUY A 6515........SADISTIC MACHINE!! I usually don't write reviews. I have taken the time to try and educate myself regarding the workings of this printer. This last attempt to just print a page has driven me vent and express MY VIEWS and EXPERIENCES on this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Challenging to set up for home use, but well worth the effort I bought my 6515dn to replace my current laser printer which needs replacement parts I can no longer find. I researched all available multifunction units that would fit in the space I had available. I read all available professional reviews and customer comments everywhere. I chose this unit because: 1) It was a color unit. 2) It used LEDs as opposed to actual lasers (much lower power usage, much less heat). 3) It wasn't an inkjet. 4) It does both duplex printing and duplex scanning. 5) It does color scanning. 6) It has a single-pass ADF. 7) It is the only color laser unit I'm aware of that will permit using 3rd party toner cartridges (a great cost savings if true), but I realize that a firmware update could eliminate that option. 8) I thought the printing and copying output quality were quite good. 9) I thought I was smart enough to set it properly (I am an experienced software engineer with quite a bit of networking experience). After I got printing from my computer working, I updated the 6515's firmware using the utility I downloaded from the Xerox website. The hardest thing was finding the bridge version of firmware, but after that the process was straightforward. I couldn't find a way to disable the firmware update report that gets printed every time the firmware is updated, but since that is hopefully pretty infrequent it shouldn't matter. My main concern was that any bugs fixed were applied that might impact my ability to achieve my primary goal of getting scans to my NAS's file share functioning. I back up my NAS on a regular basis and wanted any scanned documents also backed up as part of that process. I then removed power from the printer while it was on. Once power was restored, it powered back on successfully. The unit wakes up quite quickly from a sleep state, but it takes almost a minute for it respond from a cold power up. Although the power usage of this unit is quite low when it is sleeping, I still prefer to completely power it down using a power strip. When I turn the power strip on, I want the unit to power on without my having to go inside the cabinet where it rests and turn it on from the control panel. That way I can leave it inside the cabinet until I want to feed a document for scanning or retrieve a printed document. I have no current need for Faxing and made no effort to get that feature working. My goal was to get the scan to file share on my local NAS working. I struggled for several days trying to get that working without success. I couldn't get the scan to computer file share working either. However, the scan to email was quite easy and worked the first time I tested it. Once that was working, I was satisfied sufficiently to keep the unit. However, I was uncomfortable with scanning important documents and transmitting them via email, so I next tried scanning to FTP. I had setup an FTP Server on my NAS and created a folder and made it shared for this purpose. The first test was to scan to FTP from the printer's control panel. I entered the IP Address of the NAS with no prefixes or suffixes. I then entered the NAS username and password, again just the bare data. Once I selected scan, the printer established an FTP connection to my NAS and presented a scrollable director of its folders from which I selected the one I created and shared earlier. The printer then scanned my document and transmitted it to selected destination. Hooray! Since I now knew exactly what data was needed and the exact format, I created an Address Book entry for the FTP connection using that data and made it a favorite. This tested successfully. I then created an Address Book entry using the same data and in the same format but for an SMB connection (SMB sharing has been functioning on my NAS since I installed it) and made it a favorite. This tested successfully also - Hooray! This was my milestone goal, but I tried doing the same thing for scanning to my computer, but I still couldn't get that to work. TIPS: When data are entered into an Address Book connection and is saved, you will get a warning if the data format is incorrect or unsupported, but that doesn't mean it will work and there is no feedback until you actually utilize the connection information from the control panel. Once a connection is selected, closely examine the data that is displayed. I caught and corrected quite a few errors when I examined the data on the control panel and realized that the displayed data didn't make sense from a correct syntax standpoint even though when viewed from the Web Server it looked just fine. Xerox, if you read this and are listening, please add a "Test Connection" button so that a user can test and verify a connection and its information before having to use it to find out whether or not the data are good. Some people are using your equipment in this "work from home" environment that are not IT professionals! In the System->Policies page it is possible to disable printing the startup page, disable printing the confirmation page, and disable printing the error page. These steps save a bunch of paper and toner because they really aren't necessary in a home environment. When you try something and it fails, go to the Jobs display to see what the error was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer, bad drivers The printer works great, but it seems to reset its network settings frequently so that computers must frequently search again for the printer and reinstall it. Adding to this, the drivers often fail to load properly. Perhaps this is because I use the printer on a home network that is not very sophisticated. In summary, the printer is not easy to use. I have owned previous Xerox printers and this has never before been a problem. I like Xerox printers. They last forever. I will probably buy one again and hope that it has fewer driver or software problems. If so, I would be happy to once again recommend it to friends. For now, it is too much of a hassle and almost a "hobby" printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very fast warmup, quiet (for a laser MFP), fast scanning, crisp output I replaced my trusty old Brother MFC-9840MFP which I kept on life support at least 5 years beyond reasonable lifetime. I have also used Dell and HP printers. I am known to my friends as having a "printer issue' The Xerox 6515 is very capable. It handles scanning, fax, printing well. I don't use the security features as it is in a trusted office environment. The speed is great, even in double sided mode, color, and when rendering raster graphics. My previous printer noticeably struggled when printing raster graphics versus vector or text with basic business graphics. This printer goes to sleep and wakes up with a print job reliably. I can print to the printer using Mopria or the Xerox app from my cell phone without lots of fussing every time which is really appreciated. I really only have one negative: the printer thinks there is a difference between "plain paper" and "recycled paper". There is no way to tell the printer to just print anything 8.5" x 11" out of the primary tray if nothing else is a better match. As a result, we get lots of "Failed jobs" from Chromebooks which insist on selecting "recycled paper" as the paper type, no matter what we do. I really wish Xerox would have a media type of "default" so that anything that matches a paper size, if no other more specific attribute is available, will print. If that were the case, I would be at 5 stars unabashed on this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Support from Xerox This machine is a very reliable workhorse for my business. It has required minimal maintenance and the toner cartridges are quite easy to replace. Print quality is quite good. I have had to struggle to get the technical support I needed to interface the the workstation to my machine for scanning. or to set up the email function for the machine, so I gave up. My support agreement was cancelled by my supplier who closed down his business. Meantime I need to continue paying the lease for another 1.5 years ---which includes a certain number of images. So these are embedded in the lease yet I won't receive any support for this portion of the lease payment. Xerox basically passed the buck and provided me with a list of other nearby possible support vendors to contact. I perceived that their was no interest on Xerox's part to retain me as a customer (this was my third machine). Maybe Canon will treat me better after my lease expires? Thanks so much for asking for this review. I doubt that anyone at Xerox will actually read or take any interest in my response though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not The Best I bought this on Dell with 3 all in one computers. I bought the second tray because of the need for longer sheets of paper along with plain white paper. This printer does not automatically know which tray to use when prompted. I have to go into the printers/scanners section of the computer to manually change it every time. Very inconvenient. It’s a good printer for printing purposes but I bought it because of the multiple tray use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good printer with a couple of gotxhas I have owned several color laser printers, including some with duplexing capability. The Xerox WordCentre 6515 is a good printer, but is occasionally counterintuitive. Print quality is very good. Isn't that the primary concern when considering a printer purchase? Things to watch out for: 1) Initial page print speed is slower than I'm used to. Once started, however, print speed on subsequent pages is very good. 2) Going from standby mode to full power (to print, for example) causes a power spike that makes my office's surge suppressor sound an alarm. I assume this is because the printer is plugged into an older circuit that may not be adequate. However, the circuit breaker has not tripped, and my previous color laser printer did not exhibit the same behavior. 3) When scanning, the printer works well with the Xerox scanning software. However, it does not work with Nitro Pro PDF creation and editing software. I receive a "TWAIN not found" error. Stick with the Xerox software if you plan to scan documents. 4) The printer software installation process is not intuitive. Budget some time, read the documentation, and seek out a YouTube video or two to assist you if you encounter problems. Overall, a good printer for my small business needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well I enjoy the printer and all the features so far. I purchased this ahead of my new venture and now it is coming time to put it through it's paces. It performs better than I expected and setup was easy including connecting to internet. The only part that gets on my nerves is I cannot find where to shut of the startup test page. Other than that glad I choose this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SCANNING IS GREAT! I have 4 years with my workcentre 6515 printer. It prints great. The wifi accessory works good with it. It is also very sturdy. I moved it around several times and it continues to work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is with out a doubt the worst printer we have ever purchased for our company The installation disc does not have everything you need to operate the printer. The operations manual does not tell you how to set up the scan feathers you have to call support and 1.5 hours later it still doe not work. You can not copy or print a 8.5 x 14 sheet, it only copies or prints half the page. Support has not been able to repair it as of today Tuesday, October 26, 2021

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable printer and feature rich The Xerox 6515 MFP Printer is a medium duty workload printer according to Xerox. We love this printer, the printer has many features such as FAX, Scan to Computer, Scan to USB, Security, Accounting if you need to do that, and great print quality. Scan to Computer is a very nice feature where this is kind of technical - there is an online document from Xerox on how to. We like using this feature, you setup a directory of users on the Xerox Printer and Setup a shared folder on your computer. In the directory on the Xerox, you setup a connection from your directory entry to the computer. You navigate to your shared folder by typing in your User ID and Password for the shared folder. When you scan to Folder/PC, it will place the documents into the folder. The print quality is nice and looks very professional. It actually is cost less the the ink printer we use to use, plus last longer. I would recommend the printer and I have. Several people and small business users have taken my advice. They are happy with this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good multifunction device This is the first Xerox printer I have owned. It replaces an HP MFP. The Xerox is noisier than the HP. It prints nicely, the scanner works well. The user interface is easier to use than the HP. It has a nice Web Interface. It is heavier than the HP. I have not had a printer with a waste cartridge before so not so sure about that. Only having the printer for 6 weeks now so not sure how it will fair long term. Also don’t know about cartridge life. So far so good. I can’t give it a five because of the noise. When on a call it sometimes make it difficult to hear. It’s not a deal breaker unless the printer is near a desk or has heavy use. If you are using it quite often you might want to consider location of printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting This printer is used heavily for several months out of the year. This product is compatible with other ink options. I have recommended this product to several friends that have small businesses and they love it also instead of going to somewhere like office depot for printing needs. It ended up being cheaper over a year to purchase the xerox vs paying for prints and driving to pick them up. I am very satisfied with my xerox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone can use this printer and output is stellar Pros: 2 sided scanning, 2 sided printing, prints on glossy card stock, holds a fair amount of paper in either tray (main and bypass), wireless printing, so can print from my phone. Cons: A set of toner costs more than the printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer, but Xerox Support sucks HUGE I rated my WorkCentre 6515 as a 5 out of 5 on Print Quality, 5 out of 5 on Ease of Use, and 5 out of 5 on Speed, but only a 3 out of 5 on Overall Rating. Why would I do that? Because although the printer is very good, Xerox support sucks HUGE. My printer is a scanner, copier, and printer. Additionally, I have Xerox eConcierge Support which covers my printer support as close to 100% as can be expected, but, to keep that eConcierge Support active, I have to purchase the ink through Xerox. Their ink is rather expensive. Nevertheless, I have continuously purchased ink through Xerox. On July 19, 2021, I reported to Xerox eConcierge Support that my scanner and copier functions were not working, and I opened a ticket. Xerox diagnosed the fault as failed component that could be replaced. It is now October 2, 2021, and they still have not solved the problem, a repair service agent has never come to my house, and Xerox excuses itself by claiming there is a parts shortage. Really? For 3+ months Xerox can't locate a part to repair my printer? Nowhere on Earth? For this reason, I rate the product 3 out of 5, and I encourage you to purchase a printer from a company that will keep their word and support their product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way too much button pushing Had to have Xerox repair person come and fix in twice within first month of owning this printer. Basic functions require going through too many menus and selections. If you do anything but basic printing and copying, expect to spend some time figuring out the process and delving into even more menu rabbit holes. Overall our office finds this printer frustrating and a bother to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely worth the buy, however; It's a good printer, fax, and scanner. It prints fast and good quality but the quality is dependent on the type of paper you use. The quality is best with laser specific paper. If you use regular copy/print paper the image quality and color is not what you seen on your screen. Laser printer paper does print out with the color and quality you have on your screen. The ink cartridges are expensive but this will take generic cartridges. The generic ones work great. There is no quality differences between the generic cartridges and OEM ones. The generic ones produce the same on both Laser and Regular paper. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd Xerox 6515 workcenter is as crappy as the first I am a loyal dell workcentre user on the $450 to $550 models for last 15 year until they stopped making them. Bought xerox 6515 as comp and XEROX has been making copies forever right? I did not hook up the first 6515 copier to my computer because I had the Dell workcenter and I needed the Xerox for the back up and the day came last week when after 3 years the dell broke down. I had the Xerox for about a year and I never hooked it up to the computer until last week and I only used Xerox for copies and it worked okay. But Last week the Dell Copy centre broke broke so I took the USB cord out of the back of the Dell and I plugged the USB cord in the back of the Xerox. I did not pay much attention.. I just plugged the USB cord in and it hung there on a loose fit. The drivers downloaded to the compter and the Xerox was up and running printing labels in about 10 minutes. I always get a back up so I went to Dell Computers and looked and the only comparable to the Dell workcentres was the same Xerox 6515 so I bought a 2nd for back up... This is like 3 weeks ago and 4 days ago the first Xerox just stopped printing labels. I pulled the USB cord out and plugged it back in sideways and it fit... it fit the exact same both ways....but it was loose fit that did not go into the outlet firm and deep like the dell did...We all know that the USB cord only works on the correct fit and I cannot tell on the first copier which is the fit...I tried both ways and now the first Xerox no longer runs off the computer. Before it stopped working....I would have to manually turn it on before printing labels... or it would not automatically turn on when sleeping. The break down of the first one just was manually turning it on and then unplugging the USB and plugging it back in and I was able to print a couple more days of labels and then it stopped print and then it ran a 1500 page 2 line print bs where I cancelled that... So Then I got the 2nd 6515 out of the box and I plugged that one in...the 2nd one was a newer model and the usb receptical was a deeper stronger fit... I did not dare try plugging it in side ways to see if that would take it....the first 6515 unit the USB insert was so cheap that i could not tell which side to plug in the USB and it would barely go into the back and just hang there... I must have lucked out on inserting it because it worked but you could plug it in sideways and it would still plug in. Dell connectors were solid and firm... Once it was hooked up to the computer it worked for 3 weeks and then it stopped printing labels and printed out a bunch of jibborish pages 2 lines of forever print. I could not get it to work because the USB cord connection or something so I'm going to run that to make only copies again. I had a ton of toner and dell only sells a couple of brands and I'm use to the work centers so I paid $550 for another one and guess what... xerox made a better usb insert where there was a deeper connection and firmer connection...I did not try to plug in sideways to see if it would take in fear of doing the same as the first. So downloading the drivers is easy... but tonight the electric shut down from Ida and when restarted it started printing 2500 pages of 2 line jibborish...now I shut down and I hope I can get back to normal... I need a reliable printer... also... when printing the 2500 pages...I hit shut down or or cancel on the on off tabs and it shut down without finishing printing the paper... I think it was cancel and not shut down...but dell always finished the job and then shut down. I had to open up the back and clear out the paper... hey XEROX why such penny pnching components and it's 2021 and this copier is GARBAGE. XEROX LIKE BOEING...GREAT AMERICAN COMPANIES before but now just Garbage dispensors to waste people's time and money... DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A DECENT WORK CENTER IN THE $400 TO $600 RANGE? I should have looked and studied but I did not have time and Dell has been my company for ages and easy financial terms. The first one with the cheapo USB connection says it all... I do apparel and a USB connection is like a zipper...you go cheap and it's useless and breaks you spend maybe 10 cents more and you get better connector... but saving those 10 little mini sheckles for XEROX IS MORE IMPORTANT RIGHT XEROX...You should be bankrupt with your garbage...but idiots like me don't hjave time to research and review and it keeps you alive. You can come any time and pick both up.. I don't have time to fix above i'm running late because of Ida...but Dell workcenters were reliable and when something wore out or got jammed it was easy to work on and would pump out copies... These Xerox... I just threw $1000 away because I will have to go out and find 2 good reliable workcenters that will run with a computer.. I'll use these 2 garbage dispensors as copy machines...that just take up space. I'M TOTALLY DISGUSTED...AND WHAT TAKES THE KAKE IS THAT USB PLUG ON THE FIRST COPIER... SO friggin cheap...that someone on the 2nd production was able to get you penny pinching screws there to spend 10 cents more on a better usb connection... YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT DON'T YOU.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality but complicated I find this printer difficult to deal with when changing paper types. The paper selection process slows down the workflow and requires multiple inputs. The tradeoff is quality printing and relatively large toner capacity. The Wi-Fi is nice option for printing from multiple devices or locations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome when it works Purchased this for small business setting, specs are fabulous, fast startup, printing, duplexing, high toner capacity, true workhorse on paper. When the printer works, it is a best but I find myself having to factory reset the printer once every 6 weeks as network settings or paper size settings freeze and make printer unusable. Additionally, the network scanning is buggy and sometimes spam faxes will jam up the memory causing a need to reboot. The paper tray gears are plastic and wore down after one year so I have been using the bypass tray as the cost for replacement of a new tray has me considering purchasing a different printer. This has potential, maybe mine is a lemon but I find I have spent way too many hours diagnosing and fixing it that it has more then wiped out the time savings in the print speed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and planet friendly I am actually babysitting this printer for a family member and will struggle when it goes back home. This printer is very professional in the speed and color management for documents. Its ink use is minimal and well priced. The double sided feature is excellent for saving on paper and the environment. Its scanning and copying features are just as fast as printing. Features allow multiple users to hold their print jobs until they're ready to retrieve them. Love it, don't want to give it back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sorry I purchased this printer The set up was incredibly difficult--not setting it up, mind you, but getting it to work correctly. I used the CD and after two weeks am still getting error messages about the paper not being inserted properly (really? not that difficult) or just not printing at all. I could kick myself for this acquisition but here i am--still struggling and having office products to print and scan. Xerox really dropped the ball on this one. There are too many other options; choose one of them. this one is not worth the struggle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I love my WorkCentre 6515. It does every thing I need it to do and prints in color too. I do wish the cartridges were larger because with all of the printing they don't seem to last. They are cheaper but not the XL type. I have had to have our tech come back and reset it a couple of times for scanning to my computer. Seems as though it lost the info. Not sure if that is related to the power going off or just what.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Printer The print quality is excellent and copies are of good quality. I use at home and networked this printer to 2 PC's and a Laptop. Capable of Scanning from the printer to the Desktop and Email. The software to figure this out was tricky. Xerox needs to do a better job with easier instructions with the drives and software for Scanning. I added the WIFI Adapter which is an Awesome option for multiple computers to print to this Xerox 6515. Its a heavy duty printer ideal for larger quantity printing / coping / scanning jobs.
