Best bang for the buck
Love the new design and the speed is unmatched. For the size and the weight very good overall. The lightweight and extra RAM/HDD space make this machine the best MBP I have ever gotten to use.

Converting from a PC? Get Ready. It won't be pretty.
I guess there are two kinds of customers for a very expensive new MacBook Pro. The folks who already have a MacBook, and those who are converting from a PC. If you are the latter, as I was, be prepared. Absolutely nothing you have will work with the new MacBook because the ports are different. But you'd think that Apple would have a well-engineered dock that would connect to the MacBook and provide all the needed connections. But it doesn't. You have to guess which of the available port converters is right. And of course, Apple and CDW don't alert you to everything that will ultimately be necessary. I wound up going back four times to buy additional $100 items that were needed for my simple set up. And the fact that the fabulous Cinema Display is no longer available means the one you have isn't going to be useful. You wind up with a beautiful machine that sits in a bowl of spaghetti, with wires and little boxes going everywhere.
And then there are all of the differences between the Mac OS and Windows. I'm slowly getting used to them, and wishing I had Windows back at least twice a day.
