Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bricked itself after 3 monthsWe've had this unit for 3 months as a test article. For our testing, it runs no apps except for Chrome. It's got an excellent feature set, and I was very optimistic of being able to roll out a dozen or so running as information kiosks. After about 3 months of operation, our unit bricked itself and would show only a black screen. We were able to put the unit in Recovery Mode, and we attempted to reinstall the image, but the recovery always fails with a generic message, "An unexpected error has occurred". We have used a variety of USB recovery media but the result is always the same. I suppose something has gone wrong with the internal flash storage. My synopsis is, this unit runs great until it doesn't ... and then you might as well throw it in the trash because there are no troubleshooting diagnostics.
