Covers the deployment of VMware Horizon, to securely deliver desktops and applications to the users

SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.

SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Install Vmware Horizon version 7.1
•Install and configure one Horizon View Connection Server
•Install and configure Horizon View Composer
•Install and configure one Horizon View Security Server
•Installation and configuration of VMware clients on one (1) endpoint
•Configuration to support stateless and/or stateful desktop deployments
•Creation of up to three (3) desktop pools depending on use cases
•Publishing up to three (3) applications
•Assist with SSL certificate

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Have a working Vmware vsphere ESXi version 5.5 U1 or greater
•Have a working VMware VCenter Server version 5.5 U1 or greater
•Creation of three (3) Windows servers 2008 R2 or 2012 R2, applying windows updates (no Microsoft roles)
•Creation of one (1) desktop OS Win7/ Win10 for master image, applying windows updates (no Microsoft roles)
•Have a working Microsoft KMS (Key Management Service) server in place
•Purchase any necessary SSL certificates

ASSUMPTIONS
•Service will be performed remotely
•CDW will provide VMware installation files
•Deployment is typically 4 to 5 hours of service
•Work will be performed during normal business hours
•All services must be completed within one year from the date of purchase

OUT OF SCOPE
•Microsoft Windows OS installation
•Microsoft KMS server installation and configuration
•User profile management
•Firewall configuration and rules
•Design or consulting assistance
•Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities
•Performing any Services not specified herein
•App Volumes
•UEM (User Environment Manager)
•Unified Access Gateway

SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order

PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Engineer presence for deployment outside of normal working hours (8-5 Central time) will require the addition of after-hours support service charge.
• All services must be completed within one year from the date of purchase.

CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms & Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
