The Monitor is OK - not bad. It's fine.
The sound doesn't always work. We have to turn things off and back on again. It takes some fiddling. The inconsistency of the speakers in frustrating. The monitor itself works fine.

Very poor sound quality!
The sound quality of its speakers is extremely poor. I tried contacting Dell support on the possibility of a defective product and got nowhere. I can only conclude that it is a common feature of the monitor.

This is a terrific monitor and a great value. Set up is so easy right out of the box. Also mounts on a monitor mount. Nice adjustability for ergonomics.

Widescreen Picture / Tiny Speakers
Excellent picture quality, picture sharpness, color saturation etc. Flawless video, rock solid sync, never any mode, resolution or sync up artifacts noticeable - The only downside is the built in speaker audio which is very poor and IMO only suitable as an emergency backup for external speakers. Some parents might like the severe volume limitation of these built in speakers for their children's computers; but otherwise it's a disadvantage. Fortunately, the additional cost for the internal speakers is very modest.

Nice size and aspect ratio for working
We started using this model for our dual-monitor working environment. It fits nicely on our sit/stand platforms and all of our apps fit the 16:10 aspect ratio better than they do on a 16:9. The clarity is also good. Overall, it is as close to ideal as we expect to get.

just average monitor
was told it would work with Dell Latitude and would be able to have sound bar - NOT the case , proceeded to purchase a different sound bar as explained to me STILL didn't have sound due to there are no inlets ( plug in's on monitor) sent sound bar back kept the monitor , still with no sound. Still researching for an answer.

Resolution of 1920x1080 not supported
There is nothing wrong with the monitor itself, the star rating is based on the resolution not matching the same size all-in-one system purchased at the same time. The visible area of the screens do not match one another causing a shifting of the mouse when transitioning from screen to screen.

Dell Monitors are good.
I have never had an issue with a Dell monitor. They seem to last forever.

I really like the resolution on this monitor. Plus it is has a sturdy base to it. These are very easy to tilt. We ended up mounting some of these on arms for workstations so people could move them around easier.
