DELL Economy 24" Monitor is a Win ~ Win for our Factory floor personnel.
Essentially, we were price driven at the start; however, the display quality and image sharpness has exceeded our expectations. The factory workers can read ERP text from their workstations easily.

the monitor is a great size, but the cable they sent to attach to the inspirion computer i purchased did not fit the back of the computer. when the salesperson sent me an hdmi cable, that did not work either. i had to find a vga cable to connect. Just paid a lot of money for the entire computer and monitor and couldn't get it to work for over 2 weeks.

Disappointed in monitor connections.
This monitor did not have an hdmi port. Why would a monitor in this day and age have a vga port but no hdmi? From my conversation with the Dell rep, I was sure this would be a good fit for my daughters beeds, but I had to scramble and purchase a different one from another source. Very disappointed.

Put a camera in for 5 stars! Laptops cost bout the same and they have em, and other guts too (not asking for guts, just mics cams and speakers You can't be with em, might as well see em and hear em.

No HDMI or VGA port
this monitor doesn't use HDMI or VGA cable so I have to buy an adapter to connect to my computer.

Second Monitor - Two Thumbs Up!
I bought this monitor to use in my online graphics classes while I Follow along on a 32” monitor. This fits perfectly and works great. Can’t beat the quality for this price.

Lack of Connection Alternatives
Crisp clear picture and fast response time. Only complaint is the lack of a HDMI port to connect to my new Inspiron 6600 Desktop. There was d D-link port, but none on the back of the PC.

Great monitor that won't break the piggy bank
Assembling the base is easy and connecting to a Win10 PC was a no-brainer (it was automatically recognized. The picture is sharp and colors are great The size makes it very convenient to work on large spreadsheets. I highly recommend this monitor!

Problem with screen
Having problems with the screen. Picture comes in from the left side of screen about an inch and a quarter, thereby cutting off the red X for closing programs.

I can't rate my Dell 24 Monitor: E2420H because after receiving it I have not been able to connect it because Dell has not sent me the correct cable to connect it to the CPU. It's been 2 weeks now.

Caution: E2420H requires Display Port to HDMI port adapter cable for most laptops.
Because it was not highlighted that this monitor has a Display Port and a Display Port cable I have not yet hooked it up. The Dell laptop that I ordered at the same time requires an HDMI cable. I would think that a company that specializes in sells computer equipment would have some basic compatibility checks with an order. I am waiting for a Display Port to HDMI adaptor.

Dell 24 - E2420H is a great replacement monitor
I got the Dell 24 Monitor - E2420H monitor as an replacement for my original monitor that I bought with my Dell Studio 540 PC in 2009 which died in 2019. My Dell Studio 540 PC I also had to rebuild with an new power supply and new video card due to the power supply died in my Dell Studio 540 PC and so I could upgrade the PC to Windows 10 since Windows 7 which came with my system in 2009 and is no longer supported by Microsoft.
The Dell 24 Monitor - E2420H seems to be a really good monitor has really good picture, colors are crisp. All my games have much better color depth and I am able to stream videos with clarity and off my media server with clarity and all in HD.

I love when things just work like they are supposed to!
It is so nice when you can just plug things in and they start working the way they are supposed to! I got this second larger monitor because now that we are strictly working from home the smaller laptop screen was just not cutting it. The clarity is great, the ease of use too! The only thing I wish is that when I purchased it, the needed adapter was made to be more obvious. I ended up having to buy that after I received the Monitor and had to wait to use it. Otherwise 100% happy with my purchase.

Not enough inputs.
Returned. Only has a DP (DisplayPort connection. Need an HDMI connection as my PC only has a HDMI out. Got a P2419H instead.

Refurbished Monitor - E2420H
I took a chance on a refurbished monitor. It has been great and I don't anticipate any problems at this point. It's well worth the money. It's a very nice monitor with a very clear picture. I'm using it with my refurbished Dell Laptop and a docking station.

Useless!! Buyer beware of cord requirements!!
Monitor was a suggested buy when I purchased my laptop however, it doesn't come with the appropriate cord to attach to laptop so that I can utilize the monitor. Horrible!! Why suggest something I cannot use out the box.

Performs as expected. I wish there was a means included to connect via HDMI. The DP to HDMI cable sold separately was almost a third the price of the monitor. Then you're left with an excess cord you'll never use...

Monitor has no HDMI inputs. Beware.
No HMDI input on this monitor. Only DP and VGA. New Dell PC purchased with the monitor only had HDMI or VGA. So, was forced to use inferior, old technology for graphics using VGA.

Additional Connections Required
I own a Dell computer and am not able to connect this monitor to it as additional attachments are needed. Ensure the proper connections are available on your computer or you will have to purchase more.

it is a good monitor for the money BUT if you plan on a dual-monitor set up you will need a CPU with a Display Port (that is different from the USB standard, some older boxes don't have this facility in which case you'll need an adaptor. Only 3 bucks from China but a month before it arrives.
