Resolution is crisp, matches that of my laptop, and is good enough for the size (I hear 4k is really overkill at this size. No issues that I can see. Easy setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around great monitor if you have a windows This is a great monitor. I opted for the QHD, just for picture clarity and sharpness. This monitor doesn’t disappoint at all. My only gripe is that I wish it had a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio output, but I bought Bose speakers to go along with it. They can easily get plugged in your laptop’s audio input. One thing I should warn about MacBook users is that you won’t get true or retina 2540 x 1440p output. I think it has something to do with macOS and compatibility with most Dell monitors. If you already happen to own a MacBook and desperately want a Dell monitor, I suggest you get a Full HD (1080p) instead, since you won’t get hidpi ( retina) 1440p on this particular QHD monitor. Other than that, works great with my surface laptop 3, taking full advantage of the USB-C. Highly recommend for enhanced work productivity, coding, and even entertainment.

It not only has a large screen with small bezels, so it doesn't take up much space, it's also equipped with a USB-C connection that I hope to use with my next computer (future proofing). My only negative/regret, is seeing the size of this screen, I think a 27" wouldn't have been too big and it would have been 4k to boot. I looked all over before buying this and tried to find a 4k 24" screen, but there were few if any that didn't also have a USB-C connection, which I wanted. I have a Macbook Pro 13" retina (2015) and the resolution on the big monitor is good (2k) but not as good as the panel on my laptop. That said, it's a wonderful monitor in so many ways, just wish it had slightly higher resolution.

Super easy installation and set up. USB C connector works like a charm and is great because I can just plug in my bluetooth keyboard, and mouse and not have to worry about changing a usb out every device change I make.

This was not in any instructions and should be done automatically for those who are not technically inclined. User support for my DELL XPS15 was great and helped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home Office Quite pleased with the 24" Dell monitor. Works well with previous Dell laptop purchased last Fall. Came with a USB-C connector, but newer Dell laptop did not have an input jack for the small "C" cable. Instead, used on old HDMI cable which worked fine. Would have liked more emails stating when the order would be shipping, etc. There was nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing then the product finally arrived in 24 hours of the email update. Oh, well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth it! The diagonal size (23.8" combined with the 2560x1440 @ 60Hz gives a 123 ppi resolution. This is ideal! It's an IPS monitor that is sooo easy on the eyes and the colours are outstanding. I compared a great number of monitors, not only from Dell but also from other companies as well, and I'm extremely happy with this selection. The USB-C capability that it has is a nice bonus. Make sure you give this one some thought!

I am having some difficulty setting the colours to match my other monitor that I have been using for years as my photo editing go to. Crimson, white and black contract or brilliance. Otherwise so far it is great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor, only flaw is with Macbook in sleep mode. I am using a 2019 Macbook Pro which ONLY has USB-C ports, so this monitor is a no-brainer. I have this set up at my home office, and I can plug my monitor into the wall power, and then use a single USB-C cable (which comes with the monitor!) to power my laptop, provide the video signal, and also acts as a USB hub for other peripherals. Incredibly convenient, especially since I work from multiple locations and always take this computer with me, I can just plug in the single cable at home and it's instant. I might get another one and daisy-chain them, which would still only be a single cable. Only issue that I ran into was that there's something weird going on when the computer goes into sleep mode. Other people mentioned this on other Dell USB-C models with Macbooks, and I hope they can fix it (firmware update?). This is the only issue, but it's annoying, and I wish I could only take half a star off. This is my 5th Dell monitor I've bought in the last 10 years. Every one has been great. No matter what I keep coming back to Dell. This monitor is no different. Looks great, color is right on, pixel density, while not 4k, is high enough, and the combo of USB-C, 2k, at this price point, with all the features, and simply can't be beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Brilliant Monitor with Brilliant Features STAND The P2421DC is a brilliant monitor. The included stand allows for height, pivot and swivel adjust which allows it to fit into almost any workspace seamlessly. USB HUB I have found myself making far greater use of the included USB hub than I initially anticipated. The 2 USB 2.0 ports on the back are great for connecting things like my wireless phone charger, wireless gamepad adapter or other devices that do not require speed. The 2 USB 3.0 ports on the left side of the monitor are great for when I need to offload files from my camera via an external card reader. USB-C Connection The Power Delivery (PD) through the USB-C connector has been a game changer for the cleanliness of my home office desk. 1 cable both powers my laptop and connects it to my monitor. These 2 devices are also powered by 1 cable plugged into my wall. The USB ports on the monitor, similarly, have taken over the duty of some wallwarts I had plugged in thus making the power bar I have superfluous. SCREEN QUALITY The brightness, clarity and colour accuracy of the screen is phenomenal. The pixel density of the 1440p display is just about perfect for a 24" screen. So far I have found the brightness to also be excellent. The razor thin bezel, though not adding anything to performance, does improve the overall aesthetic. DISPLAYPORT I am looking forward to making use of the daisy chain capability to add a downstream monitor. The one hiccup I ran into is that, apparently, it needs to be another DP monitor to take advantage of MST (which needs to be enabled in the P2421DC's settings). SUMMARY When the monitor was on sale it presented as an excellent quality product with fantastic features that has helped cleanup and refresh my workstation. Definitely recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitors Very easy setup. Great monitors for dual setup for office work. I am really enjoying them. Excellent ergonomics. I just wish the factory calibration was a little better to achieve optimum results. I highly recommend these monitors particularly when on sale.
