Connecting Cable Not Provided
Only wish that one of the two cables provided was an hdmi cable that could connect new monitor to new Inspiron computer ordered together...had to buy that cable separately and don't need the two provided.
Would have been nice for Dell to confirm compatibility.

Picture Quality is average not Ultra-Sharp
This new monitor is my main system monitor (24 inch display and my second monitor has same resolution in a 23 inch display. The new monitor has an anti-glare screen that degrades the sharpness. My older 23 inch monitor has no anti-glare screen. The colors as well as the brightness and contrast are fantastic on the new 24 inch monitor, and it is connected thru the HDMI port on a high speed video card.

I bought this monitor a month ago and still not use to it. I use two monitors. old monitor does not do this. very inconvenient. Monitor came with $100 gift card. I am having a very difficult time spending it. CAN I GET A CALL BACK FROM A CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER. 808-247-2405. GIFT CARD BALANCE EXPIRING THIS WEEK. NOT GETTING RESPONSE FROM DELL

The setup was very easy. The colors and all graphics are very clear. I have only owned this for 3 days, but am impressed with it so far. It did not come with an HDMI cable, but I am happy with the options given.

Big beautiful monitor turns ugly.
A DP cable was sent with the monitor, but the computer didn't have a video card that work with that cable. It took a couple of hours trying to make it work, and then sitting on hold for twenty minutes in order to figure what was wrong. There was certainly no way to determine this from the instructions that came with the monitor, that were just pictures. Not impressed.

Missing External Drive
The only issue I have is no external drive. I Looked for one so that I can load other games that I have bought in the past. Now it appears that I have to buy new games through the internet. Is there a external drive for this gaming computer?

Not honoring the rebate deal
I purchased a monitor which had a Dell credit offer. They later told me the offer was not good for the time I purchased. Not true. Be careful of these as they will not apply the offers on these.

Nice Monitor
I ordered this monitor to accompany my new XP-S 8930 computer. It is the perfect size for my desk space and I love the clever design of the adjustable stand. It was a plug & play installation and I have not adjusted the display at all. Colors render true which is important for my photo editing.

Maybe not "ultrasharp" but looks mighty good
Like the thin bezel, makes screen look smaller. Hooked it up to my Spider Pro to calibrate it and it looks more bright and life like. Turned up some display settings for larger type, that helped. Only one program quick books am I not happy with its resident font and sharpness for it. It's quick, refreshes fast. It messed with the set up for my sound board because it installs with the monitor acting like it has speakers when in face it only has a headphone jack. Got that fixed just fine. Love the USB 3.0 hub with four additional USB 3.0 ports. That plus the price made it a great purchase.

The screen is beautiful but we broke it screen after 6 weeks and there is no way to repair it. Now it's a paper weight.

Good Solid monitor
Firstly, for those who said this monitor could not do a daisy-chain, you are absolutely wrong. Its possible.
The resolution is good and the refresh rate is not bad.
Happy with the viewable area too.

Sleek and sharp
The monitor is great. I hooked it up as a dual monitor next to a Dell 2412 and the color was a little yellowish. I used the adjustment buttons on the bottom and chose "Make color the same as Monitor 1". Immediately, the yellow tone was gone. The colors are as vibrant as the 2412.

Great Monitor
Bought this monitor almost 2 months ago to use with my XPS 15. I have been very pleased with it so far. I use my computer primarily for coding and training and the monitor hasn't dissapointed. The anti glare finish and the USB ports on the left hand side, are very nice touches. The color has been rich and crisp.

Dell UltraSharp 24 monitor
Just the switch from an 18.5-inch monitor to a 24-inch monitor was remarkable, but this UltraSharp model with very narrow borders is amazing. The clarity, resolution, and colors are excellent and make my viewing of everything on the computer enjoyable. I particularly like the anti-glare screen, which make my viewing more comfortable.

Extremely satisfied with U2419H
I bought one monitor for my home office about 6 months back. The color, sharpness and clarity are very good. I like it so much that I bought another one.
Go for it without second thought if you are looking monitor for your work. U2419H has matte screen and good for daily work. All the home series monitors (like ones starts with S, example S2419H) have glossy screen and in my opinion, not suitable for work.

I purchased the Dell U2419H monitor to get a larger size screen and because the tag on this monitor said ULTRA SHARP I was counting on top of the line resolution and crisper colors. The only improvement over the Dell ST2210 monitor that I have had for a few years is a slightly larger screen size and the availability of 2 USB ports on the left edge of the monitor. The resolution and the color rendition appear no better than what I was seeing on the Dell ST2210.
I do not feel that I received a technologically improved product as the ad labels led me to believe.

Screen blacks are just dark gray
Nice size, cable management is a bit wonky but works well. Easy to adjust height. Display color is good for particular black and white work, but dark grey is all you can get for blacks! It is very disappointing if you are using autocad and like a black background, and it is distracting in photoshop as well. Adjusting the brightness / contrast and other settings helps a bit, but not much. Great for revit with a white background. Have not used it for but expect it is good for text editing / spreadsheets with white background.

Two reasons it's not five stars
The display is perfect, but I do have 2 complaints: 1) The buttons along the bottom edge are not at all easy to use; and 2) Documentation (specifically a user's guide) should be supplied with the product - I had to search online for it.

Worth the money.
I like the monitor. The ability to adjust it up and down and sideways is worth the money. Control buttons (on/off, etc. are a little small. It came with a DP plug. I needed an HDMI plug instead for my video card.

The person at dell who was helping me set up never returned call to finish. I've tried myself and can't get it working. Says so DP whatever that is. Also, the cord doesn't attach to my printer. Printer cord doesn't fit anything on computer. I'd return all of it if I could. Bought a Word program yesterday and now can't even get that onto computer that doesn't open. So sad. Dell used to have better service back in the day when I had my first one.

Great Upgrade!
Upgraded from a dell 2009 monitor that was only 20" and 900p. That monitor still works after 10 years. This Monitor Is bigger and has a much better picture and unlike the 2009 it has hardly any bezel around the screen. Using Nvidea settings with my gtx 1660 gpu and dell xps 8500 I7 the picture only got better. The old games I play look amazing with max settings, and 60 hz/fps is fast enough for me. The only problem with this monitor is Nvidea control panel detects a repeater with this monitor.
