Its three-sided micro-edge bezel design makes it easy to connect multiple display systems for transparent communication via Skype or a similar app. The HP EliteDisplay E243m LED-backlit monitor with full HD 1080p in a 23.8-inch widescreen offers two microphones and a webcam to ensure the clear transmission of audio and video. Control options include a button for starting or ending calls, muting the mic or muting speakers. VGA and HDMI® ports allow a quick connection between the HP E243m monitor and other devices.


The monitor supports 16.7 million colors for immersive video sessions. Use the USB 3.0 hub to connect devices to the monitor or to charge a smartphone. The headphone jack offers convenience during night sessions, keeping speakers silent. With a practical cable management system in the column of the LED-backlit LCD monitor stand, office employees can route all cables without using much space. Also came with all cables I could possibly need to install which really adds value to me or anyone that is going to install at a remote site and not waste time finding cables. WAY to GO HP!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null We purchased 4 of them to help with video confencing These monitors are exelent and setup was mostly painless. The instructions didn't mention that even though you are using the the display port you still need to use the USB card as well to get the camera working. This is not the case with all set ups but if windows is not finding the camera hook up the USB card and you should be good then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally nice ZOOM at office! I already owned the attractive, quality picture standard HP 243. But needed Zoom at desk. Set up has one extra cable. provided - done. No extra PC software needed. Camera retracts! You physically control video output. Quality very good, I have used crisper. Bonus: B+O built in speakers. Frequency range and distortion more than fine for office desk. VGood separation (surround sound type spread).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Monitor.....Disappointing Speakers The monitor performs well as far as picture clarity. Was told it didn't have speakers. So I ordered a set of HP system 400 to accompany the monitor, When the monitor was installed I found that it was speaker equipped but there volume performance was not adequate. Installed the system 400 speakers and find them to work well for me. Its very hard for me or your contacts to tell from the spec sheet if this unit has speakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disaster I ordered this monitor with a 3-6 day delivery time. It took over 20 days to arrive. When it did arrive, the DisplayPort cable was defective, and the speaker cable port or related function was also defective. I am now waiting at least two weeks for the replacement to arrive with no guarantee that the next one will work properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem with Display Resolution The recommended display of 1920 by 1080 is too big for the monitor. I have tried everything to correct. Had to change to 1680 by 1050 to fit on monitor. What's the point of a new monitor if I can't use the entire screen?

First great feature is the complete height adjustment with the stand, allowing me to bring it as low as 3 inches from the desk (this is important because I use bifocals and I'm used to using a laptop. Also, I'm overwhelmed with the Bang & Olufsen speaker system, and because of the thin bezel, the screen looks larger than its specifications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Bad The monitor itself is great and the speakers are absolutely adequate but I mis read about the Web Cam and thought it was a 2 megapixel. It is not. The main reason I bought this monitor is because of recent circumstances I have been doing many online meetings and wanted to replace my antiquated Web Cam. The resolution is absolutely horrible. That is my mistake for misunderstanding the description but I could have purchased a very lower priced monitor with out a Web Cam. The Web Cam on this is pretty much useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A disappointment I purchased this monitor because it has a camera and USB ports on the left side. Unfortunately, the camera and the USB ports do not function. I downloaded the drivers from the DVD supplied by HP. I struggled for an hour or more troubleshooting the lack of a camera. I need the camera to do videos and attend webinars. What I ended up doing was to purchase a separate Logi camera by Logitech that works fine. The USB ports don't work which could have been handy for charging other devices or using thumb drives for file transfer. Unfortunately, with the Virus situation going on, heaven only knows if HP can ever make an exchange. I'll never at this point ever purchase another monitor fro HP again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new monitor. I am so happy with this monitor. I bought it because I'm working remotely so much and needed a larger monitor. The built in camera and mic are great. This meets my needs because I didn't want to have additional hardware (webcam) to have to deal with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No further researching needed - this is the one This monitor is just what I needed for the permanent work from home situation I'm experiencing. I didn't want to use my laptop and a separate, second monitor; I wanted one monitor that would act as a desktop where I could do all my work. This monitor is perfect for that. With the built-in camera, speakers, and microphone, this monitor is a one stop shop with no extra accessories needed. I did have to call HP to download a driver for the camera to work on my corporate laptop, but other than that, the set-up was easy - plug and play. If you're looking for an all-in-one monitor, buy this one and you will not be disappointed.

I would give it a 5 but it wasn’t clear how to set it up because the quick start sheet only showed pictures no wording and the quick start wording on the inserts were only written in other languages no English. I finally found a users guide online and was able to get my monitor set up. It came with all the cords I needed except for an audio cord. I had to call customer service to see what kind of audio cord I needed to buy which was not expensive on Amazon. However the monitor does work fine without the audio cord. So I’m not sure how the cord with improve it? I’m teaching interactive classes online so this monitor us great. Only one time right before my class started the camera wouldn’t come on but that may have just been a problem with my class site. Luckily it did come on after a minute or so. I would recommend this monitor. The picture isn’t as clear as my laptop screen but it is much larger which is what I needed.
