Hey, it's a power supply!
Hey, it's a power supply. I was told it will power my Legion 7i. It will probably work since my unit came with an RTX 2080 Super Max Q 8G instead of the RTX Super 8G that was promised on their web site and confirmed on their order confirmation. The Super card offers superior performance at the expense of higher power consumption. The 7i ships with a 230W just like this which I bought for when I travel. the original is under my desk. I would recommend it if it will work with your Lenovo. They seem to run a little hot, especially when your laptop is under a heavy load. I am on the East Coast of the USA and the unit arrived from China promptly.

Impressive amount of power from this compact power supply. I use this power supply for my home office use and the power supply that came with my X1 Extreme for travel. Plenty of power in this device to power all of my peripherals.

Second one I own, don't regret buying it!
Needed a second power brick to keep at the office for my Legion 7, works just like the one that came with the laptop. Way less expensive than what I thought it would cost me. Recommend anyone that has to move with their laptop between two places frequently to get one for home and a separate one for the office, makes traveling with my beefy laptop way more comfortable.

i travel a lot for work and leisure and my laptop goes with me all the time. invariably i am scrambling to pack things up to make a flight and have occasionally gone off without my charger. i now have a powerful spare to keep permanently in my computer bag/brief case so will not "leave home without it!"

Somewhat awkward beast
One of these came with my X1 Extreme and I purchased another since I have two locations where I use the laptop all the time. These can put out a lot of power when needed, which helps justify the downsides.
These bricks are heavy. The DC cord from the brick to the laptop is also quite heavy and is frequently in the way, partly because the laptop's power inlet is on one side. The bulbous RFI filter, near the laptop end of the DC cord, frequently gets caught on something, like the edge of the desk surface. Finally, the new rectangular plug/jack arrangement requires more attention than the old round ones. I suppose the flat plug was motivated by the thinness of today's ThinkPads.
One more comment: on the laptop side the power jack is nearly invisible in all but strong direct light. I fastened a piece of white electrical tape just below the jack, cut to delineate the sides of the jack. This allows me to guide the plug into place in normal lighting.

ThinkPad Mobile Workstation Slim 230W AC Adapter
Excellent quality and operation. Recommended for professional use and good to have a traveling spare. I wanted to expand the original to fast-charge use and provide ample power to my laptop ports. I also wanted an original OEM made part, the value of my Lenovo laptop is worth more than attempting to save a few dollars for the risk of damaging my investment.

Necessary item for wfh/office setup
I bought this as an extra charger for my lenovo P15 laptop, as I’m working from home 2 days in a week, and 3 days in the office- so I don’t have to carry it back and forth. It works exactly like the original one that comes with the laptop, and no complaints at all.. :)

Takes up less desk space.
I ordered the 230 watt power supply, (there are 3 wattages available) which may seem excessive for a laptop, but that results in a lower percentage of available power is being used which is less stress on the power supply which should result in longer life. It has a couple 'ears' on each end which may help it to stand on edge so it takes up less desk space (doesn't have to lay flat). I keep the power supply that came with the laptop on my desk at home and this 'spare' power supply stays in my backpack for when traveling (at least once or twice a week).
