Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking monitor for home, work, and signalling other galaxies I ordered the monitor based on my budget, brand name recognition, and the pretty simulated picture in the product description online. The monitor has lived up to the hype and came with everything needed to set it up. I love it. It is large enough for everyone in the office to see what you are doing from several cubicles away without hovering right over your shoulder and it's fully adjustable. Let me put it another way--this monitor is a beast! I no longer have to have 2 separate ones; this one handles everything I throw or put on it. The display is sharp and bright much like the new hires in the intern program. Overall, I give it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Big Monitor This monitor is huge! If you want everyone in your office to stop by your desk and say "wow, that's a big monitor" this is for you. Works great with my MBP w/ Retina 13" with the Display Port to Thunderbolt adapter it came with. Great color - had to turn the brightness up. But hey, if you want a lot of spreadsheet on your screen at under $500 this is highly recommended.

(wish it was a tiny bit taller though Good brightness and glare reduction Good connectivity DVI/DP/HDMI Good screen quality, brightness, colors, no dead pixels I have one at work and one at home because I was so impressed. Dont use the auto rotation feature (software) Dont use the auto brightness Dont use the PIP function Dont use the USB3.0 hub. Wish the stand was a little taller Wish they offered 120hz version of this model

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too bad... This is a decent monitor, especially in terms of size. Being larger, you push it back a little bit, so the distance to it is bigger than to a, let's say, 24" screen. It has 3 inputs, which is very nice, but, paradoxically, that's exactly what ruins the experience of using it. In order to switch from one source (input) to another you have to stretch in order to reach and push the buttons situated on the frame of the screen. THERE IS NO SOFTWARE OR HOT KEYS FOR SWITCHING SOURCES. I used over the years a couple of cheap, really cheap KVMs: even those were able to answer to a combination of keys, so you didn't have to leave your keyboard when switching sources. S32D850T is not the cheapest monitor around. It would've been too much, too expensive for Samsung to add a very useful and necessary feature like that? Or just nobody with Samsung thought about it? Too bad...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for photo editing and color critical work, from a distance Looking for a large monitor to multitask with, that is inexpensive, and also has accurate color after bei.ng calibrated? I found this S32D850T to be a strong contender. I almost wish there was a 27" version with the same AMVA+ panel technology, though. The good: * 32" is the sweet spot for 2560x1440 resolution (.276 dot pitch) * After calibrating, colors are indistinguishable from my previous AH-IPS based panel I've compared it to * black levels are very inky * high contrast ratio makes the screen gorgeous to look at * the larger size compels me to keep the monitor beyond arm's reach, which is about 36". This is around the ideal distance considering the size and viewing angles match up. 36~42" is ideal for a 1440p monitor of this size anyway. * no major lag during gaming * USB3 ports! * no blacklight bleed * no dead or stuck pixels * includes VESA mount! * stand has a nice wide base for stability The bad: * Situate the monitor closer than 32" and contrast shift will occur, getting bothersome the closer one sits to the monitor. At.24" also incurs hue shift. This is due to the structure of the AMVA panel, but for ergonomic safety, 36" away is minimum distance, and some will want it even farther back to limit neck movement. * vertical banding is annoying when noticed, but this is not a new problem with LCD monitors/TV sets in general * buttons feel flimsy * stand could be sturdier where it connects to panel All in all, only the vertical banding is an issue but it's not too detracting. I'm still getting used to having a monitor almost 40" from me, but with accurate color and superb contrast ratio, AMVA+ is indeed suitable for color critical work for prosumers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from monitor blinks I bought this with high expectations only to return the first one due to blinking. I tried different cables, nothing seemed to fix it. Now, the second one does the same thing, a random blink where the screen goes black for about a second, happening anywhere from every 20 seconds to once every few days. I've read online that this is an issue for Samsung monitors, so beware unless you like returning items and waiting on hold for support.

Picture quality is fantastic, Not a single dead pixel The 32" WQHD resolution combination is an excellent choice for a desktop monitor. Plenty of desktop space for multi-tasking. The display is bright and vivid. The stand is sturdy and attractive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right size I had a similar product from another company, but was only 27". 2560 x 1440 at 27" makes everything too small to view comfortably. At 32" the viewing is perfect. I was a little worried that I would have to physically turn my head to see everything, but that hasn't been a problem. A 4K monitor would be worse without going up to a 40+" monitor and then I'm sure you would have to turn your head or move the monitor off of the desk. So far, the quality of the monitor has been flawless. I haven't found any dead pixels. Well done, Samsung!

I had it repaired once under warranty after almost three years and was happy with Samsung's service. When it started to get old, I looked to Samsung first for a replacement. They haven't had a 30 inch model since my old monitor . . . until now. A 32", business class monitor sounded good. And it is good. Very, very good. Best stand I've ever seen. Raises and lowers with buttery smoothness. Rotates. Controls on the front where they are easy to see and use. Four USB outlets. Every current video input available. And the picture is superb. Photography is a hobby and this monitor is so color accurate that it's a joy. Pixel size makes it oh so crisp and clear. Zero dead pixels. No light bleed. Fast shipping by Samsung. Incredible value for the money. I'd recommend this monitor for anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from REALLY NICE SCREEN !! I think this screen size is perfect ( 32" , the screen has no glare at all and yet the picture still looks great. I have been always in favor of non -coated screens as the picture is better, but this one is probably one of the best non-glossy screen I have seen . It just made more sense to go with a non glossy for my primary usage. (but would definitely buy a glossy version of this monitor if available) All in all if your looking for a high quality monitor of this perfect size you can't do any better than this........good for games ,movies ,and enough space to make everyday stuff easy with less eye strain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Quality Bought it little more than 3 years ago, warranty is 3 years and of course the display has gone bad right after that. It started showing black spots in the middle, the replacement display would cost me like 80% of the monitors worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gamers beware! It flickers during Game mode in 1440p! I am currently running I7 5960x with GTX 970 Sli. When playing Video games in 1440p with Game mode on this monitor flickers! Not satisfy with the performance of this monitor. Also, when I watch 4k videos on youtube the screen starts to flicker as well. I've seen reviews of this computer same issue with copious amount of people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from couple of months and then dead it is a shame that such an expensive screen got bad suddenly internally by it self and Samsung warranty said it is not covered since this type of issues "cracked internal screen" is not covered as if i did broke the $ 400 worth screen !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome business monitor I bought this for my wife after one of her dual 19" died. She writes all day, and the ability to have multiple full size pages up is critical for her. This monitor is incredible. I was worried that the default resolution would be a bit tiny, but with the overall size, a letter sheet is actually just a touch over life size. With careful placement, you can actually get three letter size sheets on the screen at the same time. The adjustability of the stand is great, with plenty of movement. You can even rotate vertically if you want (it ships that way, but I can't image why you would. The matte screen is clear and bright with no dead pixels. Had to turn the brightness down quite a bit. By default the huge size of the monitor will blind you at full brightness. It's not perfect. The stand sticks out front quite a ways, and takes quite a bit of room. The brushed metal is handsome, but more distracting than plain black. And the supplied cords are a bit short. Only about 5'. (It does come with a full set of cords though, for every input.) And there is no cord management. The cords just hang down. For business use, I can't imagine a better monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good monitor but mediocre customer service Good monitor but the monitor was problematic and customer service was lacking. There are good cheaper 32" monitors out there to buy and I wouldn't go with Samsung.
