Rated 5 out of 5 by from Run away i had this case for 28 days before it would no longer stick to the back of my tablet, or have the keyboard not fall off. it's a small magnet that attaches the keyboard so it is not secure. stupid thing would fall off all the time. i felt like my tablet itself wasn't safe because the 'case' protecting it; half of it kept falling off!!! and! it's the half that has the screen left to be shattered. this is not a product samsung should be proud to have their name on

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the keyboard feature i love the keyboard fantastic keyboard it's the case that needs to be completely rethought out in the building process i had to buy gorilla glue double sided mounting tape to hold the actual back case on to my tablet this was a very effective way to make sure that it won't pop off like i've seen on youtube on video. the mounting tape can hold up to 15 pounds clearly this will work on the tablet itself i highly recommend this for this particular product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have Accessory This Keyboard cover is definitely something I would absolutely recommend for anyone who just bought Samsung Tab S6. Not only this cover will protect your beloved tablet from accidental scratches but it will also enrich the experience you can only have with this tablet. It is very easy to install and the keyboard itself attaches to the tablet with a magnetic POGO style attachment. I found the keyboard to be very responsive, typing is quick as each key is well balanced and positioned. I really like the touch pad that you will not see available on any other competitors keyboards. It is a pretty pricey if you buy it without any type of promotion, however if you have a chance to own one, you will not be disappointed, it is definitely a must have accessory for your Tab S6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An idea for the tecs why not use 3m strip on the back of the tab? idk what you are using but its kinda weak. yes once its on there its on there for a long time but it will work properly and no more dropping the tab. im sure you have a lab that can test the idea. people spend the money for the absolute best experience, this needs your attention and needs to be solved. samsung is better than this.

As a user I will say that, it’s not perfect and certainly overpriced by a bit but overall I have enjoyed how it performs and its quality. For those of you who can’t figure out how to work the back cover, here’s a little clue; put the dang thing on and leave alone. Is it the best way for the back cover to be applied to your new shiny tablet, probably not, but if the end user will apply it as entended, which means (leaving on the tablet and not removing it after application) it will stay on without any issues; at least mine has.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improvement over Tab S4 Keyboard The keyboard for the Galaxy Tab S6 is the perfect size and now comes with a mouse trackpad. The added mouse trackpad is a major, major upgrade. Not having to carry a bluetooth mouse around when I travel is a huge upgrade. The feel of the keys easily reminds me of typing on a laptop. While the keyboard is slightly smaller than a typical keyboard, the keyboard does not feel cramped nor did I have any finger/hand fatigue while typing. New this year is how the keyboard attaches to the Tab S6, the back-cover attaches using an adhesive. The are 2 pros and 1 con to this. The pros are that 1) this case is super slim and 2) you can now tilt the Tab S6 to any angle you want. The con is that you cannot take the back over off. The one thing Samsung did not change or improve is having backlit keys. My hope is that Samsung will make that change for next year. Overall, I think the keyboard case is an excellent accessory and a must buy if you own the Tab S6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back cover does not stick i wish i had read these reviews prior to purchasing this keyboard cover case. the keyboard itself works very well. however, the back cover has fallen off several times since i received the device and placed it on my tablet. it initially came off after a few days of use and i thought it was a fluke. well, it's happened at least twice since then and today it fell off of a table and onto the floor because the back cover fell off and resulted on the device falling to the floor. i wish i could return it, but it looks like i just missed the 15 day window for returns. i am now going to look for a third party case/keyboard. i would recommend that anyone looking for a keyboard for their tablet do the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not work Out of nowhere, just stopped working. Constantly connects/reconnects. Samsung tech service was horrible. Even though I bought it from Samsung they had NONE of my information and put me through so many hoops to get an exchange that it was ridiculous.

Initially I loved this cover, small, light and added to the tablet look and feel.. however after just two months the back with the kickstand starts to pop off often. Trying to clean it and put it back on works for a few days but then crash tablet falls over. I use the kickstand a lot and this is very frustrating. For a $180 accessory I would expect much better performance.

The keyboard has a mouse and a lot of cool function keys one being the DeX mode which allows you to multitask. The keyboard cover was very easy to install and easy to use, if don't want to use the keyboard you can easily remove the keyboard and just use the kick stand or use both. The improvements Samsung made to the keyboard makes this keyboard one the best keyboards to date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Idea - Bad Execution I would stick the back on firmly. It would work for a short time. (Maybe an hour) and then the back would fall off, usually with keyboard and tablet falling also. I returned the defective case back to Samsung for replacement. (they received it on 11/14). I was initially told 4 to 10 days. It has been over a month and I still don't have the replacement. The keyboard and track pad was very nice.

The keys are well spaced from each other and are very responsive adding to a great user experience. The ease with which you can attach or detach the keyboard based on your use is just great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful keyboard, disappointing warranty service An absolutely awful product. If I could give it a zero star I would. I love the tablet, but the keyboard is absolutely terrible. When it does work it is great, that is when it does work. Most of the time it doesn't work at all. The stand works just fine, I haven't had a problem with the adhesive at all. I have had to send this in for warranty exchange twice so far, and the process took about three months each time. This second time, I haven't even recieved the replacement yet, and the warranty will probably expire before that happens. They somehow never manage to have any in stock for exchange (bs). This keyboard is a headache, and as much as I dislike apple I would definetely reccomend an ipad due to the numerous problems I have had. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea, terrible execution the sticky pads don't hold well at all, especially in heat. the magnet is not strong enough to hold while carrying the tablet, detaches too easily. cover offers little protection as both covers fall off way constantly. the back cover needs to snap onto the tablet to make it secure. the keyboard cover needs to have a mechanical lock to keep it from disengaging at the slightest movement. keyboard is comfortable to use. track pad is great. stylus cover keeps the stylus safe yet accessible, as long as back cover doesn't fall off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Keyboard/Cover I've used (could improve) since i puchased it last year i've had zero problems with it sticking to my s6 even though i regularly hold/carry/lift it by the kickstand. i just installed and haven't taken it off since. i like the overall performance very much but could be ecstatic with it. skeptical at first, it didn't take long to win me over. 1- keyboard should still function while detached. i do a lot of hand held/lap work and the kbd gets in the way. having the keyboard nearby for using hot keys & typing would be fantastic. i could easily tolerate a slightly thicker kbd/cover to accomplish this. 2- firmer hinge attachment. it often 'levers off' when typing on anything other than a desk. when closed it can easily shift & the display comes on. 3- 'no brainer' or self orienting pen attacthment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not stay attached i can't even use this keyboard because of the way it's designed. it won't stay in an upright position and the cover slips off making it impossible to use. it just doesn't properly support the tablet. i paid way too much to have this just sit in my closet unused. i recommend not buying this product because it is poorly designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sticks Very Strongly, Wonderful Keyboard a little small, mostly noticeable with the backspace key, but there's only so much room to work with. love the infinite angles with the stand. i honestly don't know what people are doing when applying the back stand cover. 1) use arm to warm up the adhesive spot on the back of the tablet to body temp 2) make sure the tablet back is clean, no fingerprints. i used a microfiber cloth and breath 3) apply and let sit for the hour the instructions state after doing it that way you can barely remove it. seriously, it feels like your going to break the case and tablet when removing. it is a reusable adhesive pad and leaves no residue when removed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Major disappointment have owned various galaxy tabs for years, upgrading as new models came out - always pleased until now. upgraded to the s6 with the pricey book cover keyboard recently. big disappointment. the s6 is fine, but the cover is worthless since the back with the kickstand will not stay on, making it useless to use the device in an upright position. now i wish i had gone with a different brand and device. samsung dropped the ball on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great at first, doesn't last I've had this case since the pre-order and have had plenty of time to keep using it. At first it worked great, and i made sure it was super clean to let the nano suction cups to grip to the surface. Lasted for months staying on where I used it very heavily at an angle with the keyboard. After those few months, the problem started. The keyboard itself is perfect, nothing wrong. It is the BACK plate that is the issue. It appears overtime the suction cup wears out to where they do not grip as much at all and you can only get a couple of days before you have to readjust. I have tried using scotch tape to gently lift off any dust or fibers off the surface and the same on the tablet. Helps for a couple days, but it repeats over and over again. I would not recommend this case unless you plan on using command strips or some kind of true adhesive to the tablet. Or wait for samsung to replace the backing part of this keyboard case, because it is very pricey straight from retail for it to be this loose on the tablet and to be trusted to protect anything on the tablet.

The S-pen fits snug and love that the cover secures the S- pen in place. Not sure if any other premium covers are on the market, so this would be a definite buy to protect the tablet. Luckily there isn't like Silicone/plasticky touch feel -which I would've hated.

Keyboard is magnetic holding the tablet, It just snaps to the tablet. Just Snap and begin. Back cover has a spot for pen. Pen Holder for protecting the S-Pen. it’s very simple to open and close the cover to get a pen. Kickstand is very tight to adjust from back cover. Sometimes back cover removed from tablet. May be in future after multiple time use kickstand very easy adjust. Quality of keyboard cover is really good. Keyboard has a touchpad. Touchpad works great. This should improve the user experience. I Noticed some noise while clicking left and right on touchpad. And two-finger gestures for scrolling and zooming worked well. Keyboard keys are very smooth. Dex mode works perfectly when keyboard connected. The shortcut keys make everything easier. Great experience using tablet with keyboard..

It is a very simple interface that is easy to use. The keyboard responds well to touch and it creates the ultimate convenience for email conversations. The keyboard snaps into place with a high quality magnet. Overall, I would reccomend the keyboard as a key complimentary piece to the S tab 6 to unlock its full potential.

I want to be confident in the case if I ever happened to drop my tablet because this stuff is not cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't believe the negativity Pre-ordered my tablet and this cover and it's been great. Not sure what all these other reviewers are doing, but my back cover hasn't come off once. And the one time I wanted to take it off, I started to wonder of it was even possible to get off. If attached to a clean device properly this thing does not let go and takes some real effort to remove. Speaking of which leads me to one of my two complaints. While taking the back off, the seam for the flap that covers the pen started to tear. So I'm kind of upset I can't order just the back. My other complaint is that the edges of the tablet are exposed. Otherwise it's great, and after looking at 3rd party offerings, nothing else comes close. The keyboard and trackpad are great, no complaints there. So I'll be ordering another to replace this torn one I messed up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worst case ever i bought this with my galaxy tab s6. let me just start by saying this case is terrible. there is no way to secure it to the back of the tablet. if you extend the hinge too far out, the case will just fall off the back. don't put any pressure on the tablet itself (kind of hard not to when using the touch screen) or else it will put pressure down on the back and then just fall off. the "bottom" of the case has no grip, so if you use this on a table, you'll be very limited on range. the back portion will keep your stylus in place, and will remain attached if you don't extend the hinge. but if you extend the hinge at all, the case will just come off. the keyboard itself is decent. the keyboard section stays attached pretty well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Class Action Lawsuit? Terrible screen protection. Stand separates causing the device to tumble over whatever may be behind it, and onto the floor. No edge protection at all. No wonder they discounted the purchase at Best Buy to $122 bucks. This item is going to generate at least a million dollars in screen repairs worldwide. You would think there would have been an adult in the room when they produced the prototypes. At this price point, there should be a backlight. It is elegant, but seriously useless unless you plan to use it while working in a padded cell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functionally and Aesthetically Excellent I have been using this book cover keyboard for my Tab S6 for over a month without issue. Keyboard and touchpad work very well—I like the feel of the keyboard and have found it fairly easy to adapt to. There is a bit of learning curve as keyboard is smallish, but that’s to be expected. The touchpad is a great addition. I was going to buy a Bluetooth mouse but have decided not to since touchpad functions so well. Some have stated that tracking isn’t consistent but I haven’t found that to be the case. The tablet easily connects/disconnects from keyboard via magnets—just pop it into place and go. Love the S-Pen holder as well—you’ll never lose pen while it’s in holder as it’s very secure. The biggest issue folks have been reporting has to do with the adhesive that holds cover and stand to back of tablet. I’ve had no problems and, perhaps, it’s due to a few precautions: • Before adhering cover to back of tablet, I wiped back with alcohol • After adhering back cover to tablet, I took a good amount of time firmly pressing on cover to assure adhesive bonded well. I used rounded bottom of spoon and protected cover with a rag. • Once adhered, I left tablet alone for about a day. • Now, when pulling the hinged stand out or adjusting it, I do so carefully, pressing on the part of cover that adheres to back of tablet. I think the cover looks nice and am very pleased, so far, with every its every aspect. My only misgiving is that keys aren’t backlit, which would make this cover perfection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as intended I have had the keyboard for almost two weeks and have not had any issues with the back cover not adhering properly to the tablet. There have been a handful of times when the tablet does not recognize the keyboard and I have had to reboot for it to do so. It appears the keyboard just did a firmware upgrade, so hopefully that fixes the issue. Otherwise, keyboard cover is awesome. Well constructed, versatility of track pad, and an overall joy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does not stay on the back cover just does not stay on, it just does not work. i had read some of the reviews and put the back cover on with both tablet and cover fresh out of the box, no fingerprints or nothing. but it just does not stay on. very disappointing. i had to buy the separate book cover, which is great btw , and haven't used the keyboard or back cover at all. i don't understand how this ever passed the prototyping phase, let alone quality control. the s6 tablet and book cover are great, use them every day. so why endanger all of that by releasing this with it?

The back cover sticks on great and stays. Love the track pad. I would say it is a bit overpriced though. But I did get the tablet and keyboard in 1 package at Costco making it a better deal.

Keeps falling and my tab smashed down!! Only a matter of time before it would break if I keep using it. This is NOT worth the money at all!! Its cheap like something you would get from the dollar store!! I am so disappointented by samsung

Then, the S6 won't stay attached to the back plate because the magnet isn't strong enough. When trying to put the kickstand down, the entire back plate comes off. I'll be returning and looking elsewhere for a cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from please redesign! Just upgraded from the tab s4 with Samsung keyboard to the tab s6 with Samsung keyboard. While the layout and DeX work great. It constantly falls off.... as mentioned in many reviews. The Tab S4 keyboard automatically switch from keyboard to tablet mode when you folded it back. The S6 keyboard does not, very frustrating to detach it. If I use the keyboard function key to switch to the tablet keyboard. It only works for 1 input and then reverts back. Awful product.

What I was excepting and what I got were two differnet things. The cover that "protects" the back and the camera it was thin and held up by a sticker, fell apart within seconds when I attempted to use the kickstand. The key is small which is understable but for the price Samsung could have place a backlight into the keyboard. Do not expect the touchpad to operate like Windows operating systems. lOne postive about the key board I could say is when typing, it's silent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have Case The keyboard case and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 belong together. The cover is fully functional with the Tab S6. The cover fits nicely. The keyboard cover magnetically snaps onto the S6. The keyboard is also detachable. The trackball is a great feature and so easy to use. The cover even has the perfect spot for the S Pen. The keys respond well when typing. The cover is spill proof for added protection. With The keyboard the Tab S6 is transformed into the Laptop/PC like state.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I agree the keyboard case is bad. But I fixed it. Like most everybody else I couldn't get the back of the keyboard case to stay on the tablet so I ended up fixing it another way. What I ended up doing was to get a tablet case that came with a (pretty cheap) wifi keyboard (ones without the keyboard did not close all the way with both the tablet and keyboard in it). I modified the case by cutting the bottom of the new case where the connection to the Samsung Keyboard needs to connect to the tablet and putting velcrow on the back of the tablet and the inside of the case near the bottom to keep it in place and it worked and is working beautifully. I know, I know, I spent extra money on a wifi keybord that I didn't need but being able to use the tablet with the keyboard that was designed for it is worth it. Also, I don't think the original keyboard case would have protected it very well. As to the keyboard itsself, I wish the keys were backlit but otherwise I really like having the trackpad and the Dex capability that is built into it. P.S.: If someone wants to try velcrowing the original case on the tablet it may work, but again, I don't feel like the original case gave it much protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bookcase flaw i purchased the bookcase about 2 months ago for almost $200 dollars and i really love it as it worked great for my work meetings and the keyboard feels good and great to type on. the problem is with the back adhesive/magnetic cover it worked great for about the 1st month but now its losing its stickiness and magnetic and keeps falling all the time when propt up. i been reading reviews and seems to be common with this case. wish i would have read reviews on this before purchasing and spending nearly $200 on this case. hope samsung provide a solution to this such as replacement or fixing issue. will post update and change review if i hear back from samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warning!! Risky Purchase!! It is a two piece cover that consists of the keyboard and kickstand. The kickstand is poorly engineered. The way it stick to the table is by using a semi rubber piece with a hallow center to provide suction on the back of the tablet. That is where they messed up. The semi sticky rubber and suction will not hold over time, and I'm only talking about 2 months. I've had this tablet and keyboard for two months and through the use of their "Laptop Replacement Tablet/Keyboard" it already wore out. My tablet has shattered because the kickstand gave out. I'm currently in the process of having it repaired through Samsung. I'd like to point out that it looks like their going to charge me for their lack of engineering on that kickstand. ***Will update details if possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KickStand falls off BUT here's the solution Keyboard is great. Kickstand keeps falling off. SOLUTION: I PUT A DOUBLE SIDED SCOTCH TAPE AT THE AREA WHERE THE ADHESIVE IS. Working so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from kickstand does not cut it bought this product for college because it seemed to fit perfect with using all in one device and having the keyboard aspect helped sell this for me. after i used this product i started noticing how the kickstand didnt stay up. so i assumed i didt have it suctioned or something right and pressed harder well that didnt work either. this is a good idea and functionalilty case be better if it did what it was suppose to do which im dissappointed in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not exactly as expected I purchased this keyboard case with my Tab S6 because of the promotion of 1/2 off. Although the keyboard w/trackpad and the cover for the S Pen are very nice features, the suction pad that holds it to the tablet is an epic fail (at least on my tablet). Several times while I was using my tablet it loosened and my tablet slid off. My last straw was yesterday when it happened again and almost lost my tablet to the floor. I called customer service to speak to them about this issue and possibly get a replacement. The agent was nice but the hoops I had to jump through to even get the process going was frustrating and upsetting. When I pay such a premium price (even at 1/2 off) for something that is supposed to protect my premium device, I expect better. I love the tablet but I would warn others considering the keyboard case, you may want to look into something more secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Addition.. I like the overall design. The pencil is good but I have been unable to figure out how to incorporate it into my daily usage. I like using this for Office because it's nice writing on this device which is easier to take with me wherever i am in the mood to write. It's not my main computer and it never will be but it's a great addition. The keyboard is good. It's responsive but I don't use the trackpad often because i forget about it most of the time and use the touch screen instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from doesn't stick - risks tablet breaking I bought this tablet with the corresponding keyboard. I love the concept of the product and how well the keyboard works. I hate how the tablet will just randomly fall over while you are typing when the back kickstand case falls because it doesn't stick. I've contacted customer support multiple times with no resolution. Chat is not helpful. Don't buy this product at full price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I didn't read the reviews before buying this.. I bought this a while ago when I bought my tablet which was in december 2019. I didn't read the reviews cause I was too excited that I was finally able buying something I wanted. I splurged and bought a Galaxy Tab S6 (this product is awesome), the galaxy earbuds (also an awesome product), and the keyboard cover... I would most definitely recommend the tablet and earbuds but not the cover. This is 3 or 4 months after I bought the products but the adhesive of the cover already started coming loose within a week of using it. I usually give things/people the benefit of the doubt so I didn't care much of it and still stuck the cover back on, using my strength to push the adhesive so it will stick onto the tablet. Now it's March 24th, 2020 and the cover is 100% not able to stick anymore. From December to March, my tablet kept sliding off the cover and landing facedown on the table or even falling to the floor, and of course I would have to just stick it back on. I'm surprised my tablet hasn't cracked its screen yet. I promise you, I rarely write reviews. This is probably the second review I've written all my life, and I'm pretty sure my other review for a completely different product was a positive one. Do not buy this product, unless you wanna waste your money. Not worth it. Now I have to finish financing for a product that is useless to me...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STOPPED WORKING i used the keyboard for school work on my galaxy tab, and it was great for a while. just a few days ago it just stopped working. i connected it to the tablet and dex started up as normal, but the keyboard itself was unresponsive. i also noticed it stopped turning off the display when closed or turning on the display when opened. warranty is non existent so i figured since its broken i'll open it up. once i took it apart i could see clear as day that the ribbon connecting to the keyboard was completely severed from the connector and there was no way to fix it. i think its was just poorly built. if i can find away to safely remove the back cover i will be purchasing a 3rd party keyboard to use with my tab from now on

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad kick stand after convincing my wife that i needed to upgrade from a samsung tab a 9.7, to a tab s6, i told myself i need to get the very best or what i thought was a good kick stand rear panel, i received my new s6 and keyboard and back panel kick stand, and installed it according to the directions, not 30mins of it being installed it came off, wasn't sticking at all, i continue to mess with it every time i use it, im thought about calling custom care but i'm sure there's nothing they can do, im thinking about getting some thin 2-way tape and applying it to the back, don't get me wrong they have a great design and for the price i payed for it, it should be dependable but it's not, i worry about the rear kick stand panel coming off. i hope they fix it, keep up the good work

And for the price?!! well the back is stuck on with adhesive that doesn't stay on. the reasoning for this is beyond me. i think this is the most ridiculous design i have ever seen. so yeah it doesnt work and you cant do anything about it because this is the only keyboard design they have for this product. i love my tablet but i think i am gonna have to return it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concept, horrible execution and delivery. not sure who designed it, or how long they actually tried it out prior to placing it on the market, but it is a huge fail. as with many others, this cover is beautifully designed and the keyboard/pad works great, but the back just simply will not stay attached. there is a constant fear of it falling onto the floor, and definitely not user friendly sitting on your lap. my suggestion? wait for something else, don't waste your time on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Popped off alot after 2nd week of use the cover was great for the first 2 weeks. very sturdy and offered good protection. but all of a sudden it kept popping off of the tab. i truly enjoy using the keyboard but the way the cover is set up is just not the best way to go and it's annoying me how much the tab gets slammed all of a sudden on my desk when the cover comes off. the last thing i want is for the tab to break. function wise, the keyboard is great. i have no complaints about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sticky support on the back kept falling off. as many others already raised an issue, the sticky support on the back kept falling off. this product should be recalled for the faulty design but samsung continues to refuse to do so. by the way, i also purchased tab s7 plus and a book cover (without a keyboard). s7 book cover (without a keyboard) works great. i highly recommend it.
