I bought it due to my recent purchase of a Dell G5 series laptop, the only thing I don't like is that the laptop is 15" and the backpack is for most 15" laptops but the top corners don't feel protected in this backpack, very concerning.

My Dell Studio15 fits in nicely and there is lot more room in other compartments to fill in all your essentials. I really like the paded back and shoulder straps, they make it very comfortable to carry lot of weight (laptop, external hard drive, power source, couple of textbooks, lunch box, e.t.c. I have a bad back, but with this bag, weight is evenly distributed and i can easily carry the bag even while climbing a stair case(usually 5floors). With the air flow in the back, its not a problem carrying this bag even in Houston climate. So far i dont see any drawbacks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, strong, if bulky, backpack. This backpack is near-perfect. I've tried out a number of cheaper ones but this has outlasted them all. First and most important, it stores and protects my laptop well. I take this backpack with me everyday, everywhere I go -- on my daily commute on buses and trains, as well as longer trips on planes where it counts as my carry-on. It has a lot of compartments to fit everything I need daily: laptop accessories such as a mouse, cables, external hard drive, iPod, chargers, AC power adapter; my school stuff: notebooks, pens, the occasional book; extra change of clothes, lunch box, mini-umbrella -- the point is that there are enough zippered compartments to be able to store all of the above and more, and still keep everything organized. The only downside is its width/bulk - it seems to keeps its width/bulk whether I pack in everything I mentioned above, or pack nothing at all. I wish this had an adjustable strap on its sides to reduce its width when it is called for. Other than that, this backpack is an excellent buy. I've very happy with it.

It is a well built laptop bag with durability and a lot of storage space. Especially for those of us who transport our laptops to and from work and home and those of us who travel bi-weekly. I highly recommed this product!!

Lots of room for small things and able to handle a small arsenal of peripheral equipment. My last bag lasted 4 years before a zipper broke and had to change. The construction is great and would have kept my old bag except had it not broken. Hope you enjoy as much as I am enjoying my replacement bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Money Can Buy! This is by far the best backpack money can buy. I’ve had one for over 5 years and there is just a little wear on one of the shoulder straps. There are many pockets to organize items. I highly suspect this was designed by someone who actually uses a backpack on a daily bases. The material and craftsmanship of this specific backpack is lacking nothing. There is a similar version that does not seem to be built as good. Buy this backpack and you won’t regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks better than expected I just got this in a few days ago for college and it looks amazing. It is pretty well padded compaired to other backpacks and I was amazed by how much space there actually is inside. There are tons of pockets to store various things but what surprised me the most is that in addition to providing a lot of space for my laptop, there is another full pocket which has room for plenty of books. One nice feature I hadn't expected was that there is a foam filled flap in the pocked I will use for books which when pushed down forms a stable base for the bag, keeping it from falling over. The material looks very sturdy and best of all, this costs less and looks sturdier than the new version of the North Face backpack I am replacing after 4 years of high school. If you are looking for a backpack for school, and need it to hold a laptop, I would urge you to get this one; you won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Howard Banister's Rocks!!!! I purchased my first Synergy over 6 years ago. Now, over 1 million miles later I am just starting on my 3rd. This is by far the most efficient and most robust luggage you can buy. Disregard how well it protects your electronics I have taken this bag as my only bag on an international trip and it was more than adequate. Obviously, there was not a black tie event to attend. The only downside is now when I walk through the airport eveybody has this bag. Even with my strong desire to be unique I will keep this as my main bag. I am not sure you could improve upon the functionality of this bag. Don't think, buy it if you even remotely think you need this, you will be glad you did. With somewhere between 20 and 23 (I usually lose count) compartments you will always have a place for everything and everything in its place.
