Love/Hate
This is the best and most expensive camera I have ever owned. Great overall and never had any issues except for the sensor giving out after only 13 months with light usage. I'm an enthusiast who takes care of my equipment so there was no reason why the sensor would give out after that amount of time. Perhaps

The R5 experience
The best camera I have ever owned. Lightweight but versatile.
Tripod Mount broke under normal use
The camera works decent. However for the price you would think they would cover their products for more than a year. But no, unlike Swarovski unmatched backing of the quality of their products, you get a measly 1 year warranty unless you opt in to pay even more. Beware of using the tripod mount. I used it with

Great Camera, Highly Recommended!
While the upgraded features for the R5 II are really nice, bang for the buck, the original R5 cannot be beat. After reading many reviews that mentioned overheating and/or shutting down, I was a bit hesitant to plop down cash for what would be the most expensive camera I have ever purchased. I can now say tha

Canon R5 MMA Photography
I bought the Canon R5 when it first came out and LOVE IT!
It's not what I expected for a 3K camera
Nice camera. Layout is ok. Menu is great, functions are outstanding. Happy with the fact it has an audio recorder for photo journal work. Really sad it's only 72 dpI... really Canon? You already know the standard for print work is 300 dpi. (which the R6 MK II has!) Just another tactic to force us into a buying

Best results in 60+ yrs.
Coming from FILM days and DSLRs, R5 imaging and camera capabilities are superior. Learning to use the full gamut is worth the effort ! Digital manual takes patience. All the other Canon support bridges some gaps....THANKS
Buggy, Unreliable Camera.
This camera is great at some things like low light and focus, however it is super buggy, throwing error codes, over heating, and excessive battery usage to just name a few faults. These deep flaws in high pressure situations have left me questioning my trust in canon as a whole and turning to my more dated howe
